Well Deano on the strength of your review I have just been out and bought an L13 and look forward to flying it..
It is really refreshing and encouraging to have a presentation put together and delivered in a measured , natural voice at a delivery speed that can be understood without the high speed gable. I say that as I trained people to give presentations . Well done that man and dad of course. Horizon Hobby should be giving you plenty of work.

Thanks Deano! I may have mentioned before the fact I can just listen to your throttle control and now with your comments, great presentation. I'll play the audio in my sleep. Great editing Pops!!

G'day Pete From a distance the foam planes look passable but the finish no matter how good still looks like an Eski ( foam cooler). I know they are cheap and are supposedly good for a beginner, but we never had foam and we all survived. To me they just look cheap! The same as electric motors! Regards Tassie John. PS even when you handle them they have nerve grating sound.

+John Kinnane hi john, yes she is from the bottom end of the market and very suitable for a beginner / intermediate modeler and very good value for money, you gets what you pay for i guess m8 - lol - deano

I have this glider and it is crap.
But after seeing this I migth put it back together again and have another go with it. One day it would fly great and the next it was crap. I might change out the servos this time round. Good flying and good footage.
    Russell.

Brilliant flying as usual Deano. Hope you can do some more reviews. I wonder if this model would be good for slope soaring? Keep up the Great Flying. Bob

Hi, i just bought a new transmitter at HORIZON HOBBY and put this modell in the basket as well, just because it was on sale for 89 euro´s ;-)
Do u fly it in the "out of the box" configuration or have u done any reenforcements on the wingconection ??? I didnt expected it to be rigid enough to perform manouvers like you did in the video!
I fly the Horizon Corsair as well, but more for scale flying. Also did some acro´s but it looks like the wingmount (screwholes) getting lose/bigger when pushing it harder!

    Hi mate,
How much wind can this handle(maximum) I have a timber but most of the time it is windy so I don't fly much :(.
Also would you recommend putting as3x receiver in?

I use 2s 2200mAh. If i just climb up to 100m and glide down slowly again and again i was able to keep it in the air for 22 min! When am flying Loops and other stuff i use a 10min timer and usually recharge about 1800 mAh.

Bloody typical... I find an interesting plane on a page on sale, chuck the name in on RUclips, click the first video I see without really looking... and it's Dean!
Hah.. good plane, eh? Looks fun.

First glider???? Careful there because many good pilots switch to thermal duration after the 'punch holes in the sky' phrase passes. Not that it's a bad thing. I was told that decades ago and sure as shit it happened to me. After sport fun-fly, aerobatics, competition pattern, Q-500 & F1, 3dD heli, and a little scale stuff on the side nothing gets my rocks off now better than thermal duration. It's just odd that reading what the plane is saying and keeping it aloft as long as possible (or timed) and still land it at your feet just became a bigger challenge. Designing them is harder too.
    Nice demo btw.
