Natalia Vodianova first arrived in Paris as a model, at the age of 17, and instantly fell in love with the city. “I thought I would never leave my hometown [but] I was just blown away; the architecture, the people, the food - everything was just incredible,” the Russian-born supermodel recalls.

She's mesmerizing in person. I met her at her pre-introduction to her charity brand and app in Paris. I had no clue she was a supermodel (or that she was Natalia Vodianova when I walked into the room) but she skyscrapered over me in an angelic light right when I entered, shook my hand smiling.
