    Thank you so very much. I have had the bed 4 yrs this month, I'm have the split top king and I am on my second mattress for my side which once again I wake up with it flat. 1st mattress only lasted not quite 2yrs. Because at that time bed was still under warranty they charged me $100.00 just to come out and install the new mattress, which was mailed and received 2 weeks before. We spent $9600.00 + for this bed. Will never do that again.

      Our bed was purchased in 2018, and it cost over $10,000 never had in any problems until April 30, 2023. I have called SN several times and I have troubleshooted their instructions over and over again, the bed worked for a week, then it went offline, has been for 2 weeks, I called yesterday again and the person told me our router was too far for the bed to work. I told him the problem is the bed not our router. We installed an extender on their recommendation 2 weeks ago, the bed worked for a week. Coincidentally, the bed came back online last night and I got a reading this morning. I will never purchase another SN!

    Informative video but I have a question. All of a sudden our Queen Dual 360 Smart Bed is not working properly. Remote wise, it shows 00 and that is all, no bed or names. When I try to inflate with remote, it goes up to the number and then returns to 00. On the app, it shows a white bed with just my husbands name under it. It doesn't show the bed with both names under it. Also, have the same problem with inflating from app, goes up to selected no. but in the app it goes back down to 5. Over the last 2 days we have spent at least 4 hours on the phone with techs. We have tried going back to factory settings, new batteries, unplugging, reinstalling app, checking hoses and checking to see if all lights are on. I hope you can offer us some glimmer of hope. Thank you!

    Thanks for all of the info on sleep number beds. We have had our ILE King 360 Integrated base bed for several years and it has worked perfectly until 2 nights ago. My husband's side just totally deflated and he woke up in a huge dip. My side is still good. I reinflated his side and then last night that happened again. I checked the connection of the hose which is located on the underside of the top part and disconnected it then reconnected it so that didn't seem loose, also the o-rings looked like they are in good shape. Guess I should locate the pump and see if that is all connected properly. It seems weird that this happened all of a sudden.

      2-3 things I can recommend, unzip zipper connecting middle of chambers inside bed. When they're connected any shifting in deep sleep can pull on other sides material. Secondly, you can visit personalcomfortbed.com for better quality chamber & pump as an option(side by side comparison video. They have 100 pts of air comfort, as opposed to sleepnumber which only goes in increments of 5. Another tidbit, their air pump has a wider feeding hose which cuts inflation time to 9min compared to 15 or more from a completely deflated chamber. (they also have a airlock check valve built in, that prevents leaks if you were to disconnect hose compared to the lame white rubber stopper. I no longer work there, got sick of the company drama. But I help when I can with ppl who I feel get ripped off by this company. 90% of bed issues➡️Air Related

We have to just turn it off and currently not using it. They tried to fix both things, but they never did and kept sending "technicians" who ended up being just delivery drivers...I would never recommend this bed to anyone. Very bad experience.

    My sleep number is 12 years old. My side of the bed (2 chamber king) seems very temperamental to temperatures (like if hubby isn’t in bed yet or after his body heat heats up his side). I’ll set mine to 65 when I go to bed. During the night it can be as high as 95 or 100 and then after I’m out of the bed (and it cools off) it’s as low as 25. Why so much variation and how to fix? I’ve wondered if I buy a pillow top mattress topper if that will help distribute/block body heat.

      leak in chamber perhaps or your pump isn't as efficient anymore. I'd switch to personalcomfortbed.com pump which has more durable components. Either way after 12 years you need to replace something. I left the companies toxic work environment 2 years ago. But can provide helpful feedback when needed.

    Just got my bed this past Thursday and it won't inflate or deflate. My wife called customer service and they couldn't figure out the issue. On the app the numbers will not read on the app at all. Uninstalled and reinstall with the same issue. I'm so disappointed with this bed and haven't had it a week yet. Gotta wait til Thursday of the first week in January. For a technician to show up. When I try to adjust I hear the pump but no action with air being filled.

    • @jim2245
      @jim2245  2 года назад

      go to personalcomfortbed.com and try to order their pump system. Their intake hose is wider & doesn't kink and if you disconnect the air hose from their pump system there's an air check valve that closes off so you wont get any air loss from air bladder. The last year & 1/2 has been horrible for faulty Pumps. Not 1 week goes by without someone reporting an air issue or loss problem.

      have to either unplug the while bed from outlet for 60 seconds, then plug it back. Bed always needs to be 20ft or less from main WiFi point in your house. If you have a google pixel phone you're fucked & bed only operates on 2.4ghz frequency

  • @petsitter1969

    My sleep number bed is about a month old. My husband has back issues and wants to try a firmer setting. The app on my phone says the bed is off line. If everything is plugged in correctly how would it suddenly get offline? I haven't messed with the settings on my phone itself or the app

    • @jim2245
      @jim2245  Год назад

      what Salespeople neglect to tell people is the Bluetooth on firmness pump HAS a limited range & also only can use 2.4Ghz frequency. Range is 20-25' max, also you may have to get in touch with Tech Assist find out which phones are compatible with bed system. Also, a simple restart of phone(s) does help. I myself always use a handheld remote with mine and only use Phone App once in a while. 2017-2019 the beds always had issues with any google phone software. If everything else in your house works as far as Wifi goes, its rare, but happens (you could have a faulty pump, ie: something internal is bad/loose/broken.)
      Another point I'll make is, people need to realize also Sleep Number beds aren't miracle workers. They can improve better sleep to a degree and even in the Blue user guide it states people sometimes won't be able to find their true comfort setting immediately [could take a few weeks to get used to and/or adjust]. When I was still working there, I'd always be honest with people "The beds are drastically better than regular mattress, but everyone that uses them needs to also balance or adjust their lifestyle. Eat right, sleep right, plenty of exercise no matter how big a pain in the ass it may be" If it's a medical condition, the best level of bed is probably an i8 mattress. My sister has two young boys and has lower back stiffness and I recommended i8 version.
      Another last resort is to make sure both your phone and App are both up to date with current software and make sure at least 3 or 4 LED lights on pump are lit up (you may have to unplug bed from grounded outlet or PWR strip for at least 1 minute). I'm 90% sure I mentioned this in my Tutorial, always reinflate bed when not in use to 100. It will assist in making entire mattress last longer, since you're allowing all materials to return to their natural state and not wear out. I came across dozens of people that just left the bed at sleep setting and perimeter foam material got torn apart in a matter of months. Hope I provided some help to you, if the bed doesn't live up to its name in the long run for you - you may want to view consumerreports.org and search for mattress reviews and see what they cover as well. They're neutral with all products reviewed to give the public honest recommendations since they're not sponsored by anyone. Good luck ;)

      sounds like a power surge fried the control box. Auto switch is in the App only. Until you get box replaced, not much you can do with underbed light. White control box communicates with Light. You can swap out box yourself if you want. Should be a flat zip tie keeping it in place, under base on Left Side. Has 5 ports, Black Grounded power input on far left, two rectangular comm ports, a Blue & Red for head & foot control. Can probably save $$$ on Service Call if your 100 day trial isn't up yet. Or can search for video on switch out procedure.

    • @Adoptedbymydog
      @Adoptedbymydog 2 года назад

      And just an FYI from warranty standpoint. Get a surge protector!!! Power surges and outages aren't covered under the warranty. What he said about the control box is spot on though. Everything on those beds are easy to change. Hardest part is to get the base turned over.

    Hi, How are you? Thank you so much for this video. My husband, and I have been going back in forth with Sleep Number customer service, and tech support. The Sleep Number customer service, and technicians are horrible. We had technicians come and replace parts to our Sleep Number bed but we still have the same issue. The issue we are having is the right side sinks in . The remote also takes a long time to set to adjusted level. My husband is heavier so he sleeps on that side. As a result, of this our back's have been hurting. We have already replaced the air chambers, and air pump. The technicians cannot seem to figure out what the problem is. We are tired of going back and forth. Can you tell me what the issue is, and what parts need to be replaced?

      @jim2245  Год назад

      If your husband is heavier than 260 lbs that won't help matters. Go to personalcomfortbed.com to get comparable parts for bed. Their product is superior in every way. The problem if you have bed that moves, is the bladder isn't built flawlessly so if it bends there could be an air leak that has formed on either the edges or by where the hose connects. There's also a youtube video that shows the two bladders side by side being run over by a pickup truck. ruclips.net/video/bMM5rPENNGQ/видео.html The sleep number one which is beige, pops everytime. Hey Jim. My sleep number bed has gone offline. Now they told me to unplug it for 20 seconds and plug it back in. The problem is I can’t reach the plug, I live alone and the bed is too heavy for me to move. I have back issues so am in a fair amount of pain on any given day. They told me so sorry, there is nothing more they can do. My question is will shutting off the breaker to the master bedroom achieve the same solution. That is my only option or my bed stays offline. I paid for an adjuster bed and is it surprising that I want to use that feature? Their support suck’s at best, I will say that. I hope you can tell me what I need to know. Thank you.

    • @jim2245
      @jim2245  Год назад

      Not 100% if that would alleviate the issue. If there is a breaker wire going directly to the room, you can interrupt it for 1 minute, the grey area is if there's been an accidental short to the bed or the room & that knocked it offline it could either be the pump unit, or a burned part in the control box for entire bed. You'd need a circuit tester to be 100% sure. Typically you need 3 lights on the pump at any given time for the system to be functioning completely. The main reason why they highly suggest unplugging the bed, is the small amount of energy still between the control box and the outlet delivering power, so unplugging would drain it completely. My only hope is you down have a bedframe surrounding the bed, that's the biggest pain in the ass for Techs to deal with since it just adds another barrier & inhibits underbed access. Good luck to you sir.
