Sleep Number Bed Mattress Deflated or Lost Air? Get a Replacement

- One morning I woke up to a flat and deflated sleep number bed. I thought that I would need to buy a new one. I searched to see if I could find our what was wrong with the bed and to see if I could fix it. I did all the checking of the hose, the air pump and the air chamber. I couldn't find anything wrong. Luckily, I was able to purchase a replacement air chamber. I bought my current sleep number air bed in 2012, so I didn't think it was that old. Especially since Sleep Number beds have a 15 year warranty.

I HAVE MINE 5 YEARS AND NOW I NEED BOTH SIDES AND I ALREADY REPLACED ONE SIDE 2 YEARS AGO THATS 3 IN 5 YEARS
First and foremost, you likely needed a 25 cent part -- not a $300 air chamber (the $100 probably was due to warrantee). These problems are due to leaky o-rings, broken connectors and cracked hoses--99% of the time. Sleep number wants you to buy expensive stuff so they stay quiet....

YES, THEY WILL SELL YOU ANOTHER CHAMMBER BUT ITS A ONLY A ONE TIME BUY, SO IF THE OTHER SIDE GOES YOUR OUT OF LUCK . I BOUGHT MINE 5 YEARS AGO AND I HAVE REPLACED IT ONCE BY THE FACTORY BUT THE OTHERSIDE BEEN LEAKING AND JUST THE OTHER NIGHT MY SIDE TOOK A CRAP. SO, ITS A NEW BED BECAUSE I USED MY ONE TIME ONLY REPLACEMENT. I DONT RECOMEND BUYING A SLEEP NUMBER BED. TO EXPENSIVE AND DONT LAST.
I agree. This one has been doing well since the replacement. I have a newer one also and that one is crap. Their quality has gone down. I don’t believe I will get another one. Unfortunately.
The bed looks really comfortable, my bed hurts my back I need to change it and try that one. You’re background lights so beautiful and relaxing.

Those creeps came out because my parents have their bed at 100 right now which is the same as 20. They told them they need a new foam. That can't be right because if the bed isn't filling, it's not gonna matter what foam is on top. I don't think they'd let me check their bed though to figure it out. What would you do?
Not sure. Sleep Number, in my opinion isn’t what it used to be.
Great video. How old is your Sleep Number bed? Mine has the same problem. What is your mattress model number? Mine is the Sleep Number 5000, it was new in 2002.
Why do I like Sleep Number beds? I like them because the ability to change the firmness. Sometimes I like my mattress firm- sometimes not so much.

Yep. They told me $385, including shipping. If i want someone to simply find the leak shh I can order patch, it would cost $200 to send somebody out to find the leak!

HOW did you get it for $100? I called them, and they said - including shipping - $358! Did you go directly through the corporation? That's who I called.

It may be hers was a different size bed.
Make sure you tell them you don't want someone to install it! They tried billing me $159 for installing the air chamber replacement- I had them take that off of my bill and just mail it to me and ended up getting it for like $130
