Before i understand my son had constipation and was on paediatric plain laxido he had a lot of bowel overflow it was constant and it wasn't just his underwear i was throwing away it was his clothes i would have to shower him several times a day i was exhausted and in tears all of the time so I truly am grateful that he is now being treated.
Very helpful,there should be more information out there,about constipation in children,so watching this video is so uplifting,knowing we are not alone ,I say to my son everyday,we've got this,thank you so much for your video x

Thank you for this very helpful video it has given me so much reassurance that I'm doung the right thing for my 7 year old daughter , after many years of constipation and bad advice from doctors she is finally on macrogol. I began with the disimpaction then maintaining dose . I will add my doctor said it's very important along with this that you sit yr child on the toilet after every meal 3 times a day for 10 minutes and eat her meals at the same time ...lots of water and fibre rich foods . I'm hoping in time we can stop the macrogol just have to be patient but for now I'm happy I've found macrogol. I was using lactoluse before but it is definitely not as good and certainly not good for their teeth .
