My lifetime dream is to drop a 383 stroker with transmission crate package in a 1955 Ford F 100. Or even a 408 😎. Paint it Dodger Royal Blue or a metallic purple
So what is the general break in like? Prime the engine with oil first, get it started and running then take it out for 30 mins driving; Let it cool down, change oil, then drive it normal for a couple hundred miles, change oil again? I heard the roller cams you don't have to break in on the traditional flat tappet way. Is this correct? I have a zz4 350 turn key motor so I'm curious.
The only difference is ,we get it running run it up to around 2000 rpm and let it run for probably 20 minutes then idle it down to around 1000 rpm or your desired rpm. And always keep a eye on the oil pressure lol, Ill put a link below of the first start up of my dads 32 hotrod, it may help also. As for the roller motors that is what I've heard no break in required, but I've never had one. But that should be a Rad motor!!!! Thanks for your comment 👍 ruclips.net/video/sWOBbaEnOpw/видео.html
