I have an all black g2c and I’ve never had a problem with it it’s my everyday carry Taurus really put them self on the map with this one and the lifetime warranty made it an easy buy for me
My very 1st semi auto pistol was a 40 cal. High Point. I did my research before I bought it cuz it was all I could afford at that time. I knew (7yrs ago) that i needed to get the mag to function smoothly feeding efficiently and polish the feed ramp and the slide rails. I cycled a few hundred rounds by hand before I ever shot it. Took a couple days of tweaking it but then it worked flawlessly for a few years till I let it get too dirty and bent the firing pin. Sent it in to high point for repair and got back within 3 weeks. Again worked flawlessly. Eventually I traded up and later saw it on a table at a gun show for the dealer I traded it in to. I really liked it and knew that when I ran out of bullets, I could beat the crap out of the bad guy using the brick, I mean gun because the slide is like a brick.

If they are armed with a gun then yes, however if they have a bladed weapon or a blunt weapon then distance does matter to justify it as self defense. I believe they must be within 15-20ft of you and also must be coming towards you in a aggressive manner. Look up your states self defense laws regarding firearms. Also, if they are going towards your children's bedroom, or of someone of similar status it can be justified as well.

Fast forward to 2021.. Good luck finding any of these firearms for the prices mentioned and if they even have them in stock let alone finding ammo. I just purchased a 12 dozen carton of eggs for home defense 😅😅
Yeah, these guns arent cheap anymore... None are it seems... Gunbroker.com is the best place to get ammo... Of course its more expensive, but you can buy all you want if you have the cash... They atleast have ammo

I have the g2 c and g3 love them both I did get a gx4 but was 275 so bit over the 250 mark all work well reliable and accurate. My first 9mm was a high point c9 had no issues with it all I could afford at the time

Actually, the G3 has a window where the G2C has a lever that pops up when a round is in the chamber, the absence of the pop up lever on the G3 sill retains the window so you can see if there is a round in the chamber by looking at the opening where the pop up lever would be on the G2C. Less parts, similar effect.
Since the start of the pandemic the SD9VE in my area sells for around $420 and been going up and that's if you can find it? Bought mines in 2014 and the only issue I had? Polymer guide rod warped after the first 145 rounds and replaced it with a metal one.

Rob Butler I kind of understand why guntubers unload everything before they do their presentations. Accidents happen, the only way to be 100% sure you don’t have a negligent discharge is if there isn’t any live ammo on the table at all. I’m sure none of them store their guns/magazines totally unloaded though, that would be weird.
Most of the time my mags are loaded but not one in the chamber while shooting these videos... I keep every magazine I own loaded and dont want to unload them for these videos... Im always safe and not afraid to have loaded mags around... I get it though...

I took my dad ugly ass .45acp hi point to the range with me once. I shot my g21sf and it. It was extremely reliable but i couldn't hit shit with it. It shot everything like my glock but its not very accurate at all

I have a Sig P320 (awesome) and I just bought a Taurus G2c for $215. I got the Taurus because it’s a little smaller and I can carry it better. I’ll prob give this to my lady and get a 3rd gun later on down the road but from what most people say this is a good gun for a very low price!!!

Yes it definitely is. It took me a while to figure out how to take it down because of the California variant. But I finally got that done. California does not allow the gun to fire without the magazine. Which requires depressing a plate down inside what do you have to lock the slider open to do and then you do the normal take down stuff. It locks the trigger back and once you reassemble the gun and put a magazine in it resets the trigger. Just a little extras that California requires

3 weeks ago there were G3's all over the interweb for under $225. Now due to the pandemic and panic buying you can not find them anywhere and they are priced at $260 plus if you find one.
I buy them mostly on GunBroker and BudsGunShop... On GunBroker, I just wait and check often for one to go on sale or win an auction at a cheap price... I dont do gun stores anymore... They have too much overhead and need to charge more
The Taurus g2c is 250 at academy the Smith and wesson sd9ve is 299 .....a budget gun would be a high point c9 or a jeminez ja9mm and the ja9mm is actually a decent gun holds 12 rounds and comes with 2 clips for 169$
Hi point and Jeminez are both bottom of the barrell guns. Pay an extra 50-100 bucks and get something worth while and decent. It won't make or break your bank account.

Yodi Goldigol I have loaded mags all over my house. Ive trained with loaded mags for 30 years. Ammunition isnt going to magically jump into a guns chamber when placed in or near a gun... I know whether or not any of these guns have ammo in them or not...
Whether you have the mag in or mag out, whether your sure its loaded or not, you always operate/handle a gun under the assumption its loaded, even if you know its not!
RJ ZL Time will tell concerning the triggers but I havent heard of any issues with the new pistols lately... I havent had any issues with any of my Taurus triggers...
I've been wondering about Sccy's new striker fired 9mm. I forget what it's called, D-something. I always thought the cpx-2 was not a bad looking budget 9. Haven't seen any reviews yet though.

Good vid, Im glad you like the pistols. I had never been much on Taurus but have changed my mind in the past year. I have totally fell in love with the Taurus TX 22 and also have a Tracker 357 which i have 1000 rounds with no problems. I have several 22's such an new Glock 44 and walther p22 which i would buy the Taurus Tx over any of them (probably could buy 2 for the price of 1 glock). There are snobs out there that will not try Taurus (like I was) will not find out that Taurus makes a good gun.

Many owners of some of the PT lines are disappointed with all the issues they have had but Taurus has turned themselves around from what I can tell... Awesome prices, quality and just very comfortable to shoot
mary potts The G3 is more comfortable in my hands but they are both easy and fun to shoot... You may like the G2C a bit better for concealment... Both are really nice pistols, reliable, inexpensive, but since you want to conceal, Id say the G2C... I would also suggest holding both at your local gun store
I agree with guns,ammo, and drones. I have both , the g3 and g2c.. both are phenomenal. I like the g3 a little better, itts a little bigger, and the trigger is better, and a few more rounds.. I conceal carry both, but the g2c is a little easier to conceal. You cant go wrong with either
Both are great. I use the G2C for my everyday concealment. Its a bit smaller then the G3 and it conceals better especially here in Florida when i just wear a shirt to conceal it.
I wish I could praise the th9 but I can't. I've had nothing but problems, and not minor problems either. Slide issues, misfired failure to eject. I guess I got a lemon. I clean my guns after each use and lubricate iaw manufacturer. Want to like the gun, but right now it's only useful as a paper weight.

Steven Kennedy Great question... G3 all day long... Its size is between a Glock 17 and 19, I have a 17rnd and a 15rnd mag... Very comfortable in hand and it can be carried nicely... Even though its a double stack, it almost has a single stack feel...
I have had a Taurus TH9C for several years now. Not sure what the "C" means but regardless it's fantastic. Well over 1500 rounds of the cheapest ammo I can get and not a single issue, nothing. It just shoots everytime. Came with 17 and 13 rd mags and a case. Taurus fan for life now.
@Mike johnson oddly, back in the the, they were considered "The" ergonomic choice in pistols. The Glock was introduced while I was in high school, and everybody wrote about the "wonder gun" back when they were that funky grey-green. But having held Glocks and many other pistols, by feel, the G2 became my first pistol. I mean, as a family man, I had a problem laying out five or 600 bucks for a pistol, when rifles were more economical, and a decent shotgun was under $200. But when the G2 hit the market at under 250, that was doable. Compared to a wide range of other pistols at the time, it was quite sensible.

Yeah gun prices are up man... They will come down but itll be a while... There are many other awesome guns I can recommend but they are priced a bit higher than what they usually go for... The Taurus G3 would make a great first pistol also... Really nice trigger and priced lower than the SD9VE...

I bought the pt111 millennium g2 3 years ago. Thousands of rounds fired no fails. Only thing I did was ad a steel guide rod from lakeline.

Does it have a site hole were the onw hade a pop up flag cant you see brass threw that hole on the barrel top.

The .40 cal shield can turn into a 9mm with a 9 mm barrel and magazine. You can use the .40 cal mag but you may get double feeds to my understanding.

I have a Sig P320 (awesome) and I just bought a Taurus G2c for $215. I got the Taurus because it’s a little smaller and I can carry it better. I’ll prob give this to my lady and get a 3rd gun later on down the road but from what most people say this is a good gun for a very low price!!!

G3C addresses part of that with steel sights and a Glock-style dovetail. Plus, you get the G3 trigger, a Tenifer finish, and tweaks to other things.
it's now May 2021 and you can't find a TH9, after looking everywhere I finally went with a G3.

Carrying a taurus, not me..my first two tauri went back to the factory the same day I bought them. There's a reason pd aren't flocking to taurus and hipoint.

I have the SD9VE. I love that thing. Unfortunately being in California I had to pay 400 because of the modified build.

How was it modified?
Yes it definitely is. It took me a while to figure out how to take it down because of the California variant. But I finally got that done. California does not allow the gun to fire without the magazine. Which requires depressing a plate down inside what do you have to lock the slider open to do and then you do the normal take down stuff. It locks the trigger back and once you reassemble the gun and put a magazine in it resets the trigger. Just a little extras that California requires

The G2C is my EDC. I've put close to 3000 rounds thru it with no issues. My girlfriend's EDC is the shield 2.0. Both guns are great.

Im in VA... Got my G2c for $200 flat & G3 for $275 out the door
3 weeks ago there were G3's all over the interweb for under $225. Now due to the pandemic and panic buying you can not find them anywhere and they are priced at $260 plus if you find one.
I buy them mostly on GunBroker and BudsGunShop... On GunBroker, I just wait and check often for one to go on sale or win an auction at a cheap price... I dont do gun stores anymore... They have too much overhead and need to charge more

The Taurus g2c is 250 at academy the Smith and wesson sd9ve is 299 .....a budget gun would be a high point c9 or a jeminez ja9mm and the ja9mm is actually a decent gun holds 12 rounds and comes with 2 clips for 169$
I bought my SD9VE for 180.00 on Gunbroker... I personally will never buy a High Point or a Jimenez... Just a personal preference
Hi point and Jeminez are both bottom of the barrell guns. Pay an extra 50-100 bucks and get something worth while and decent. It won't make or break your bank account.

Why do you have a loaded mags while demoing the gun?
Yodi Goldigol I have loaded mags all over my house. Ive trained with loaded mags for 30 years. Ammunition isnt going to magically jump into a guns chamber when placed in or near a gun... I know whether or not any of these guns have ammo in them or not...
Whether you have the mag in or mag out, whether your sure its loaded or not, you always operate/handle a gun under the assumption its loaded, even if you know its not!

RJ ZL Time will tell concerning the triggers but I havent heard of any issues with the new pistols lately... I havent had any issues with any of my Taurus triggers...

I've been wondering about Sccy's new striker fired 9mm. I forget what it's called, D-something. I always thought the cpx-2 was not a bad looking budget 9. Haven't seen any reviews yet though.

Josh Frerichs So, if you want full sizeish I would def suggest the G3... It is priced great right now and feels amazing in the hand... Its concealable for the most part if you choose to carry... Ill also suggest the SD9VE... Great reliable pistol with a great brand name... It is also at a fantastic price right now on GunBroker.Com... Those would be my top 2 that you wouldnt regret buying...
If your going to carry it get the g2c 12+1 and extremely reliable. Plus it can use the 15 and 17rd magazines for the g3 if you want more capacity.

Good vid, Im glad you like the pistols. I had never been much on Taurus but have changed my mind in the past year. I have totally fell in love with the Taurus TX 22 and also have a Tracker 357 which i have 1000 rounds with no problems. I have several 22's such an new Glock 44 and walther p22 which i would buy the Taurus Tx over any of them (probably could buy 2 for the price of 1 glock). There are snobs out there that will not try Taurus (like I was) will not find out that Taurus makes a good gun.

Many owners of some of the PT lines are disappointed with all the issues they have had but Taurus has turned themselves around from what I can tell... mary potts The G3 is more comfortable in my hands but they are both easy and fun to shoot... You may like the G2C a bit better for concealment... Both are really nice pistols, reliable, inexpensive, but since you want to conceal, Id say the G2C... I would also suggest holding both at your local gun store

I agree with guns,ammo, and drones. I have both , the g3 and g2c.. both are phenomenal. I like the g3 a little better, itts a little bigger, and the trigger is better, and a few more rounds.. I conceal carry both, but the g2c is a little easier to conceal. You cant go wrong with either
Both are great. I use the G2C for my everyday concealment. Its a bit smaller then the G3 and it conceals better especially here in Florida when i just wear a shirt to conceal it.
I wish I could praise the th9 but I can't. I've had nothing but problems, and not minor problems either. Slide issues, misfired failure to eject. I guess I got a lemon. I clean my guns after each use and lubricate iaw manufacturer. Want to like the gun, but right now it's only useful as a paper weight.

Steven Kennedy Great question... G3 all day long... Its size is between a Glock 17 and 19, I have a 17rnd and a 15rnd mag... Very comfortable in hand and it can be carried nicely... Even though its a double stack, it almost has a single stack feel...

I have had a Taurus TH9C for several years now. Not sure what the "C" means but regardless it's fantastic. Well over 1500 rounds of the cheapest ammo I can get and not a single issue, nothing. It just shoots everytime. Came with 17 and 13 rd mags and a case. Taurus fan for life now.

Love my Taurus G3 I was shooting it side by side with a Glock19 and I actually prefer the G3. Something about the way it fits in your hand perfectly.

@Mike johnson oddly, back in the the, they were considered "The" ergonomic choice in pistols. The Glock was introduced while I was in high school, and everybody wrote about the "wonder gun" back when they were that funky grey-green. But having held Glocks and many other pistols, by feel, the G2 became my first pistol. I mean, as a family man, I had a problem laying out five or 600 bucks for a pistol, when rifles were more economical, and a decent shotgun was under $200. But when the G2 hit the market at under 250, that was doable. Compared to a wide range of other pistols at the time, it was quite sensible.

Yeah gun prices are up man... They will come down but itll be a while... There are many other awesome guns I can recommend but they are priced a bit higher than what they usually go for... The Taurus G3 would make a great first pistol also... Really nice trigger and priced lower than the SD9VE...
