I own a Canik TP9SFX and it's the best 9mm I have ever shot. Trigger is best out of box on the market. Changed recoil spring to Sprinco and Galloway springs all around. Awesome shooter.
I would highly recommend the Beretta APX lineup. With Beretta's special pricing, you're getting a premium firearm with great customer support at an affordable price. Most of the standard APX lineups (not the tactical version) could be found at around $300-350 max before the great toilet paper shortage. Last November I purchased the full size APX for $319 shipped and my father got the APX Centurion (compact size slide and barrel with a larger grip frame and capacity) in February at $334. You can find the APX Carry at under $300, but that's a single stack carry gun.
@@45AlfaCharliePapa Thanks for making these videos. This one, the best single stack/revolver, and best home defense guns are my favorite from you so far.
Came across this because I was looking for reviews on the M&P 45 like you showed. They have one used for $379 at a store close to me. Not sure if I want a 45 or just stay with my 9MMs.
Good little gun. Something is going on with this gun. All models have gone to Distributor exclusive so I seams Ruger has sold off their stock. I don't know if it is being discontinued or it they are coming out with a second generation. I hope It is the latter. Thanks for watching.
Taurus G2C for $230 cant be beat! Highly recommend and also thought that last gun was pretty neat. Just picked up an M&P .22LR and it’s probably my favorite of the bunch for home/self defense as anybody can use it with ease bc of the little to no recoil and easy to load magazines.
CANIK TP9SFx! I was glad to see it here. I just bought the Whiteout, and i DID NOT expect so much quality for what i paid for it. Easily a gun that could cost about twice as much as what i've gotten it for. I love the trigger on my Ruger SR9, caught it on sale for about $260 I love my old Ruger P345 (it was mentioned, not as a budget, but you did mention in). A budget gun or two I'd add would be the Taurus G2c and G3. GREAT Weapons for their price points! I'm looking into the other weapons you listed. Thanks for the video!
The SFX white out is a nice looking gun. The Taurus guns are a Great value also and I have reviewed the G2 on the channel. I just don't currently own one at the moment. Thanks for watching.
Had a p90 back in the day... Sold it quick... Turns out the had a few parts missing. The guy that bought it still loves it. I will always remember it as the jam o matic
The P90's have a solid reputation as a great gun. To bad you had an issue, sounds like Ruger took care of it for the next owner thou. Thanks for watching.
It is kinda neat to see someone with smaller hands than me! If you have ever shot a Desert Eagle you know how much of a PITA it can be. Good choices overall!
G2C is a great option too...for $200-$250 you get a 9mm double stack with a 12 + 1 capacity that can be concealed easily, good at the range, and could be a great home defense option...I would definitely recommend it
Great guns. So many older dealers fed their family's selling these and slept well at night knowing they did not sell them a basket case that would fail. Thanks for watching.
I like your list. I love my Canik TP9 SFx. I bought it used a year ago for $300. I also own a Ruger SR9C, a great shooter with an incredible trigger. One gun that didn't make your list, but I think should have, is the Bersa Thunder 380 Plus. A great little double stack PPK clone that sells new for around $300.
Cougar looks pretty nice. Use to own a P90 DC and carried on duty as a armed security officer. Never felt that great in my hand and wanted a ccw pistol and got out of security. Its kinda too much for cce and only paid $185 for it in 1996. It was on sale and just had to get it. Last year I sold it more then I paid for it. I try to stick with the $300 limit myself. Just picked up a LE trade in FNS-9 for $300 over a S&W M&P trade in that was going for $290. I have a all steel Canik Stingray 55C too. Very nice gun but at 36oz its rough on the hips as a ccw. Great video!
I am really enjoying the Cougar at the moment. Great buy on the FNS-9. I have a feeling in about 6 months we are going to see a lot of great deals on once fired used guns in dealers cases. Thanks for watching.
I picked up that canik for 475 and put a holosun 407c on it... love it for the range... but won't carry it to big and dont trust it more then my g19... had a few hiccups.. but great for the range 👍
All manufacturers put out guns that jam. Espec in the first 500 rounds. Buy an STI, Les Baer or Wilson watch how many jams you have in the 1st 500. Apples and oranges but you get me point.
Leave your Canik locked open for a couple of days and you won't have any problems next time you go to the range. The Recoil spring is a bit stiff out of the box! Although Sprinco sells an after market spring that will take care of all your problems. Hope this helps 👊😎🇺🇸
If you like budget pistols under 350 You should check out the Taurus G2c and G3, Stoeger STR-9, Girsan MC28, Girsan Regard, Beretta APX, Walther Creed, Arex Rex Delta, Taurus TX22, Sar Usa SAR9, Tisas Zigana F or K,
Never buy anything from a country full of Taliban and ISIS sympathizers. Turkey was the home base for the last Islamic Caliphate. Most of the money they make from us infidels goes back to political jihad against us the infidels. Watch videos of a former Muslim from Turkey called Apostate Prophet.
Same. No matter how many amazing guns come out from Turkey, you'll never see me buying one. Same with Smith & Wesson and Ruger for their role in accepting more gun control during the Clinton administration as well as Springfield Armory for their recent role in doing so as well. When you're a firearms company trying to limit our 2nd amendment rights or support terrorist groups harming people, you're not getting any of my business.
So what brands do you buy? Because with a little research I can most likely find reasons not to buy just about any manufacture. If you do some research on Smith and Wesson you would learn that they were owned by a British engineering firm when they made the deal with the Clinton's. They so damaged the company that they had to sell it for penny's on the dollar and the new owners had nothing to do with that. As for Ruger, That was old man Bill trying to save his company due to the fact The original bills would have killed most of his best selling guns, things like the 10/22 and Mini 14 would have been illegal to own. He has been dead for decades and the company he left no longer follows those ideas of its founder. But Thanks for watching.

The Ruger SR9 I wanted to love but the accuracy isn’t good. Tried different ammo and even saddled it to see if I was pulling it but me and my cohorts found it to have a gremlin causing two just down left from center and one or two floaters up and to the right. Way up like eight inches. The Tp9SFX is the best budget pistol with high end add ons you’d find in a much more expensive firearm. The Taurus PT111 millennium pro should’ve been on the list. Or G2 which is same thing. Thousand rounds and it’s accurate with no failures. $200 bucks new.
My son has a Taurus G2, fine little gun for the price. One of Tauruses better options and is reviewed on this channel. As for the SR 9 call Ruger. I also was not as impressed by the accuracy with my 9 and my 40 was better. I had to send it in because the spring fell off the slide release making it lock open every shot. While it was there, Ruger also addressed a flaw with the barrel that I knew nothing about. When I got it back the accuracy was very much improved and is now on of the more accurate pistols I have. Thanks for watching.
My full size Springfield XDm 3.8 9mm holds 19+1, but my favorite still has to be the Sig 320 Compact .357 Sig (13+1). It feels just like my 9mm 320, too!
Prices are all over the board here. When you find them at high volume dealers the pricing is good and in line with the market. When you find them at the small long time dealers, these things fed his family back in the day and they have a attachment to them and asking to much. Or you find them at the young dealer that prices everything at Gun Broker asking prices. Thanks for watching.
Unfortunately Stoegar stopped making these. Your only hope would be Gunbroker or keeping an eye out for them at dealers or gun shows. Thanks for watching.
The Ruger American sits at the high end of the budget and is on my want list but I own so many ruger firearms that I have a hard time justifying another. The G2 is also a great option and I have reviewed on on the channel but I don't own one yet. The shield is another solid option. Thanks for watching.
I have 2 S&W revolvers and 2 S&W auto-loaders which can't make the list because of price, but, I have had no problems with the Taurus GNC 9mm which I like...but can't hit anything with🙄... and no problems with the Taurus TX22 which I love (my favorite pistol) and the two aforementioned do meet the price criteria. 👍 Good Video!!!
Very enjoyable listen! I would also like to recommend the Canik line that Tristar distributed here in the USA, the T100, C100, 120, etc...All-metal guns with a great reputation for being accurate and reliable - I have first hand experience with them, and totally agree.
To me right now the best budget gun available is the gen4 Glock 22 (pd trades) I have been ordering them from Recoil gun works 269 bucks right now they had them on sale a few months back for 250. The guns that I have got were VERY nice conditions. Palmetto state armory also has S&W m&p40’s for 269 bucks (pd trade). Those are 2 great options imo
Frank Bonazza III there’s bad apples on every tree. Not all cops are bad. I actually work with some guys who were former cops and they are outstanding individuals. The G2 is a great little gun for the price. If you look into the channel you will find that I have reviewed my sons. Just not something I have purchased for myself. Thanks for watching.
Cash is- I’m curious how many other pistols you’ve shot? I’ve rented a g2c at my local range and was disappointed. I found the trigger, while a decent pull had no “wall” before the break. Maybe it was just that one?
@@electricgamez5415 I've shot enough guns to know that the G2c covers everything you need and more in a handgun. Compare it to any other handgun out there and it will be better in most categories.💯 #Masterpiece
@@electricgamez5415 it was just that model. I carry a G2c every day and I can promise you, it has a very clear, defined wall. Break us very crisp. The G3 is better but doesn't conceal as well.
They do, but they double as a safety. I prefer slide mounted controls to be de-cocker only and Smith made very few of those. The long trigger pull makes this gun safe to carry (aka New York officers carried double action only models without the safety) and the safety function is a little over kill. Thanks for watching.
Haven't yet tried out a Canik yet but for the price of of one I think I'd rather purchase 2 Taurus G2c's. When you finally figure the trigger out, it is a very reliable, highly accurate gun. You'd still have a bit left over for a holster. 🤔. Very nice vid and all good choices. I would consider anything under $300 a budget pistol. ->I'm a self proclaimed "poor" but I enjoy learning about possible future wish list guns I may find one day withing my budget.Hope to see more vids soon. 👍

There’s just so many good guns in that price range these days that it’s almost impossible to make a list of just 5. Everyone’s top 5 list could be different and still be good. Your top five is respectable but mine would be different.
Give it a few months. I'm sure the prices will come back down when this is over unless the NWO goes full stupid and starts the Boogaloo (LOL). Thanks for watching.
There was plenty when I posted this video. What surprises me most is as Wal-Mart stopped selling pistol ammo, none of my local shops or box stores increased their supply's to try to cover the void. Thanks for watching.
Abvailability of parts is scare. This makes these Guns worthless. If a parts break and you can’t fine a replacement, your screwed. I have a Stoeger and I really love it but I’m dreading the day sometimes breaks, I’m SOL.
Currently Midwest gun works has all your Stoeger cougar part needs. I do agree once those parts become no longer available the oddball Stoeger will be hard to find used parts for. As for guns like the Ruger P series and Smith and Wesson 2nd and 3rd generation guns they made Millions of them so used parts if needed should be around for awhile. Thanks for watching.

Whatta steal you got that stoeger for! I have a preowned beretta cougar 8000f that i kinda overpaid for but i love it just the same.
Yea! I could not pass it up at that price.
Should be
Bersa TPR9c
S&W M&P
Canik TP9sfc
Taurus G models 2 or 3
S&W SD9VE
Good little list. That is the beauty of it, so many good options to choose from. Thanks for watching.
Interesting choices
An eclectic lot but they work for me. Thanks for watching.
You do a really great job on these vids! Keep up great work!
Thank you very much!
Thanks for watching. I have reviewed the Taurus G2 and it is a good little pistol for the price. I am also working on a TX22 video.
Don't much care about buying used guns.
Very enjoyable listen! I would also like to recommend the Canik line that Tristar distributed here in the USA, the T100, C100, 120, etc...All-metal guns with a great reputation for being accurate and reliable - I have first hand experience with them, and totally agree.
If I could just find a Tri-Star I would love to check them out. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for the tips. Great information and Thanks for watching.
Frank Bonazza III there’s bad apples on every tree. Not all cops are bad. I actually work with some guys who were former cops and they are outstanding individuals. I also went to school with some guys who are cops and are good people as well. I also know some terrible cops who have went to prison or probably will some day.
Taurus G2c is the only gun you'll ever need, it truly is a masterpiece.💯 #Masterpiece
The G2 is a great little gun for the price. If you look into the channel you will find that I have reviewed my sons. Just not something I have purchased for myself. Thanks for watching.
@@45AlfaCharliePapa You should go get it. 🍻
Cash is-
I’m curious how many other pistols you’ve shot? I’ve rented a g2c at my local range and was disappointed. I found the trigger, while a decent pull had no “wall” before the break. Maybe it was just that one?
@@electricgamez5415 I've shot enough guns to know that the G2c covers everything you need and more in a handgun. Compare it to any other handgun out there and it will be better in most categories.💯 #Masterpiece
@@electricgamez5415 it was just that model. I carry a G2c every day and I can promise you, it has a very clear, defined wall. Break us very crisp. The G3 is better but doesn't conceal as well.
I thought all of the S&W 2nd-3rd gen DA/SA pistols had de cockers?
The Taurus G2's are good little guns and I have reviewed one on the channel I just don't own one. I would and did pick the Canik over the Taurus It is just a better made gun and has better factory support currently. Thanks for watching.
There’s just so many good guns in that price range these days that it’s almost impossible to make a list of just 5. Everyone’s top 5 list could be different and still be good. Your top five is respectable but mine would be different.
Well these prices didn't age well! (Lol damn you coronavirus!). Love the video.
Give it a few months. I'm sure the prices will come back down when this is over unless the NWO goes full stupid and starts the Boogaloo (LOL). Thanks for watching.
Thanks was Interesting
Thanks for watching.
Glock 22 (.40 cal) has lost lots of value. You can find them used for not alot of $$
Most .40 cal for that matter.
I need another one of those
Not a good time for top 5 when there's no ammunition on the shelves.
There was plenty when I posted this video. What surprises me most is as Wal-Mart stopped selling pistol ammo, none of my local shops or box stores increased their supply's to try to cover the void. Thanks for watching.
Dont you use CLP??? Looks like you dont take care of your museum guns. You s& w has gunk on the hammer.
I thought the vid was quite interesting. I even have a dusty old P90 Ruger.
Thanks for watching.
Bang for your buck . I see what you did. lol.
Thanks for watching.
Tiny hands
Very good list, i do have several Astra pistols that i have spent less than the 350 threshold. I highly recommend the Astra, A100, A90,A80, A70, and thr A60(copy of PPK). Great guns.
Wow what you pay is what you get... I can tell the quality is really bad on these guns even Thur this video compare to popular brands
?
