Love this! You cover more shots in 10 min than any instructor....(that way I have more time to play. 😘 ) Love your bad acting, humor, athleticism, and added text for emphasis. Great job💕 Definitely sharing this. Thank you!
thank you for your educational instruction. as a recreational player there is not much instruction for my level. the what, how, why and what to do after, court positioning stance et al is vital to my learning and making the game of pickleball more enjoyable.
I have played tennis for years and just started playing pickleball 2 months ago. I Am at 3.5 level. I struggle with the third shot . Serve, return of serve, dinks , overheads and volleys are good but hitting that third shot drop I am still working on. Most players I have played against or with just want to drive the ball- hardly any dink battles. But I am working on my game and playing about 4-5 times a week. Trying to learn how to SLOW it down and force dinks from opponents right now. Any tips?
Any tips on defending against the lobs? I know I can just pivot and run back but most times I run in the path of the ball and it lands straight in front of me. It's probably the most frustrating shot people use on me because I tend to feel like I'm about to break an ankle or need to slide to get it. I've tried practicing by myself be tossing the ball high and behind, but I do not feel like I'm getting there in time or I just flat out miss. Does that make sense?
Makes total sense. Unfortunately, there are only two effective ways of dealing with lobs: jump smash overhead (if you’re young, lol) or turning and pivoting as he just demonstrated. When you use the pivot, think of running PAST where you think the lob will land while also running at an angle that will put you on the side of the ball to use your strongest side (forehand/backhand-I happen to have a stronger backhand). Hope this helps!
