Great video. Most times too, those easy shots require the most amount of focus on the fundamentals. My background is tennis prior to pickleball. The greatest tennis players aren’t solely great because they hit difficult shots. They’re great because they have the focus to hardly miss the easy ones. Opponents have to beat them because they won’t beat themselves. Same could be said for pickleball too.
Thank you for your video. Helpful for sure! Watched several times to capture all your informative tips. Good thing about RUclips is you can watch it over and over.
HUGE tip from Connor: allow your drops and dinks to hit around the opponents feet while playing in a point. This makes it harder for the opposition to get the ball back up and over the net. I have definitely proven this tip works in real matches at ANY level of pickleball...thanks again!👍💯
Your editing is getting amazing. Watched the first 20 sec, was blown away. Will watch the rest. Hope you mention the Continental Grip, the key to the game🙂
Conner you read my mind. Have been struggling with this a lot lately, smashes into the net. Thanks for the tips, especially keeping your head up! Great stuff as always and shout out to Kenadi as well
The best pickleball instruction on RUclips! I know it may be a lot for those new to the game, but it is incredibly helpful for intermediate players trying to level up to 4.0/4.5. You do an outstanding job of teaching strategy and technique simultaneously:) Keep it coming please!!
So good. I love that you put a strong emphasis on technique, footwork, and decision making. One of the few instructors who answer the question of "why" for each point. And for that reason I constantly forward your videos to friends.
so how do you feel about intermediate players playing against novice players, 1, for court time and 2 when they use smashes or even any kind of shot they know a novice can't return just to win a point and the game so they can stay on longer? I've had some recent experience with this and it's really frustrating.
I think beginners should stay playing with beginners or intermediate beginners for a while, before they join intermediate and advanced players, otherwise, nobody will have fun. I m a beginner, I know the better players are not my coach and they are not obliged to play with me or to be gentle.
I would much prefer to play with anyone that's better than me. I'm not necessarily an intermediate yet, but I'm in between being a beginner and being even more advanced. You elevate your game when you play with better players and a better players. Don't want to play with me. That's fine but I'll hold my own the best I can. Way too boring for a more aggressive beginner to play other beginners
One error I see Intermediates do with the NVZ Smash is running up to get set, hit the ball then step forward into the NVZ. Planting your feet first is Key but hard to do in the heat of the moment :)
Weird question, would you ever jump to smash? I’m new to the sport and with my height and bball background it seems like an instinct thing for me but I don’t see videos doing it.
I've been trying out the Luxx for a while and I haven't seen a big drop in power. The trade for the softness/control is worth the small amount of power.. I'm 6'3" 250lb. So power isn't really a problem on most shots.
@@SDPBALLCOACH I was more joking than anything. I have a friend who is about a 4.25 playing regular with it, and he just struggles with some finishing power. It’s probably one of the best right side paddles around though.

If there are better instructional PB videos on RUclips I haven't found them. This excellent....keep upi the good work!

Thanks!
Kenadi!!!!
Great video guys!
amazing!
One of the best PB videos I have watched.
Excellent video like always
I appreciate that
My partner is about 5 feet 2” tall. When she hits a smash it’s rarely high enough to get over the net. It’s an easier shot when you are taller.
Another gest, simple video! Great split step, Kenadi!
Good info... Time stamps are helpful though. I'd be more likely to watch while video and more of them
Been there
Dink master pro dilivery option for mumbai India ?
Great advice! Nuff said.
Great video!
needs a trigger warning for all the missed easy shots I've made
LOL
Question is there a reason Kenadi raises her hand before she hits the ball? I’ve seen others do this too…
As always a great video!
A lot of tennis players do that on certain shots so chances are she is a good tennis player also.
Counter balance
taught in tennis to point at the ball over your head; helps to keep your head up and eye on the ball.

Well done my friend.
How do you like the Luxx??
Which model do you use??

Looks like you added weight to the four corners of the Luxx, how much did you add and what was the weight of the paddle before adding weight?
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Obviously, you jump if you can’t reach the ball with your feet on the ground.
@@raypsalazar I didn’t know if it was frowned on. I’ve never seen people do it.

"It would be a huge unforced error if you didn't hit the Subscribe button..." :)
The paddle should be pointing up and not back. I see a lot of women coco the paddle to the rear as soon as a job goes up.
Super cute skirt
Content and info was top quality but the hot girl was too distracting😅
Lots of good teaching here but you need to slow down. You’re covering way too much and way too fast. For a learner it’s too much to absorb. 😅
I like to work on one thing at at a time - this is a lot!! Whew!
Agreed
If only I could watch this video multiple times.

Disagree. You know you can pause and replay RUclips videos, right?
For many overhead balls, I tell lower skilled players to let them bounce. Then take a good swing at it.
