I love how his bug out bag exists in an amazon wishlist lol " oh shit! zombies! *clicks order* phew" I dont have that sorta faith in our post service lol
There's something very cathartic to this approach of cinematography. Getting to know you all on a personal basis and what inspires you is just as satisfying as when Wren teaches us how to make stuff, Jake busts jargon and Niko imparts his wisdom. Sam is really good at plugging in the sponsored segments and will make an excellent father. Hope I get to meet you all someday!
it's a good watch. Wether you are a star wars fan or just a fan of movies, and really shows important the edit can be. ruclips.net/video/GFMyMxMYDNk/видео.html
11:30 good choice. Leatherman tools are expensive, but for a good reason. they are built extremely well and the warranty on them is amazing. As a person who likes to build stuff, a multi tool is an absolute must for me
Enjoyed this video a lot! Niko's take on editing was so interesting, always love hearing about the process. What a fun game! And wow yeah the standing pee thing would come in real handy, it takes me like 15 minutes to pee backpacking sometimes lol
Niko, youve truely become an inspiration and role model to me, your attitude and outlook on life an work and the way you think and deal with them is awesome. I cant putting it across properly but thank you.
The amount of effort you guys put in these videos is amazing. The behind the scenes is always great. I love the detailed explanation you add for each shot. Then you add random segments of personal shenanigans. If I had money, I'd pay you, but I'll give a good o'l trusty like n comment 👌❤mucho luv homies
I️m so happy you guys exist because you guys help me through ALOT of things and you guys kept me going thank you, you probably won’t see this but if you do thank you
I’m super late to the game here, but my short stint in film school, a teacher had us recut the Council of The Ring scene from the first LOTR. There were some amazing cuts.
I think it coul'd be fun if after your release a corridor video ( once, not each time necessarily) you release all the footages just to see what peoples can do with it . Keep up the good vids !
Dude I've had too much of your vid's I started like rewatching your vids and I saw how good Cmike has become from like the editing and dude Cmike has become really good dude Cmike I love you bro Ciao
The zombie spike shot was good, but the problem with that part of the video was what happens after. Jake holds the rest of the spike/wood piece against the zombie's back and he angles his piece downward. I noticed this on the first viewing and it felt off because the wooden spike shouldn't move like that, so the added effect was noticeable. I think a wood splintering sound effect would've been nice to make it seem as if the piece was breaking apart when Jake moves it.
For the Visual effects towards the end: 3D printing is considered an additive technique, because you start with nothing and create something. Meanwhile, CNC milling is subtract-ive, because you start with something and take away from that. Thought that this analogy really related to what you were doing.
Can you guys make a video feedbacking on how lifeline went, sales etc, things went well, things you'd change? Also id like to see some creative original content on corridor channel. The fallout Cola mini-series you did a while back was excellent. Would love to see something new and original. Niko talks about how he'd wouldn't enjoy directing a major francise film becuase of the creative restriction in place by producers but i don't see much creative freedom in your videos. Long time fan though, you guys are inspiring the next generation of film makers.
I actually don't like one thing about the final version of that scene, here's why: Jake reacts in exactly the same way twice. The first reaction of him going "OH" could be cut out completely going straight to the gate being opened. Leaving his reaction to happen when the zombie is coming at him. Would make more sense that way too!
Wren, at 11:58 you forgot to paint out the zombie's leg that's supposed to be missing when he's hopping away from camera. It's in the final video too. Woops! Otherwise great job.
Perks of living in Chicago: El Ranchero chips at every grocery store. Now I’m at Purdue in Indiana though so they’re harder to come across but I can find them if I look hard enough
No joke I just sat down on the pooper, and this was the first vid I click on. It starts by saying most of us are in the bathroom, and ya, they you right.
4:22 sorry I hate to correct people, but I have this book and there actually is a glossary that credits all the vine creators. But he is correct about none of his vines being in the book.
CMike, Those lifeboat rations are cool and compact, but take a look at what kind of calories they are. They're designed for people sitting in a lifeboat and waiting for a rescue, not for people doing large amounts of physical activity. I'd suggest taking a look at dehydrated backpacker meals from a company like Mountain House. Those are more 'complete' calories, and will provide your body with better nutrition for a physically intense situation.
Sitting on the toilet right now. lol. I had the choice between 2 videos, and I chose this one. Also, I watch on my laptop. My phone screen is too small to enjoy videos on.
emergancy
naja.. cmike is halt immer noch deutsch.. der junge macht halt ma fehler ♥ #Prost m8
thank
02:23 I think I have that exact same sword!
Shonduras nominated you guys for lemons for luchimia (I'm to lazy to find the actual spelling).... Go watch their vid.
isn't it emergency?
So happy CMike's Amazon Emergency list was in the description!!!
TonyMacaroni emergancy*
I love how his bug out bag exists in an amazon wishlist lol " oh shit! zombies! *clicks order* phew" I dont have that sorta faith in our post service lol
its not in the description any more :(
Not in the description, someone have a link?
Can you send me the link bro?

You guys did an awesome job on the corridor video, Wren also explained the VFX shot of having a spike come out of a guy very well.
"I didn't order it yet because I just went to the grocery store" it be like that most times
Not sure if amazon guarantees its 2-day prime shipping during the apocalypse.
Imagine an apocalypse where amazon still ships...
Imagine Amazon stops shipping. The apocalypse.
right, Amazon is the apocalypse
Good idea for the video, post apocalyptic world where you can order stuff from amazon
Trust me it does
i love the rhythm you were talking about. Baby Driver did this really well and I love it
you should have an editing contest where you post the raw footage online and whoever takes it and makes it the best wins a prize
To add to Niko's point. I would recommend poeple watch "How Star Wars was saved in the edit".
That sounds so intriguing
it's a good watch. Wether you are a star wars fan or just a fan of movies, and really shows important the edit can be. ruclips.net/video/GFMyMxMYDNk/видео.html
I knew i recognised Danny from somewhere
"Red Robin"
"Yum"
"OH NO,OH NOOOOO"
11:30 good choice. Leatherman tools are expensive, but for a good reason. they are built extremely well and the warranty on them is amazing. As a person who likes to build stuff, a multi tool is an absolute must for me
Why is Danny Gonzales just there
He used to work there for them
@@MRtacoslicous When and why did he leave though?
@@danielveres4351 His channel started to grow so he wanted to work on it full time so he left to fully pursue that.
Seriously! I was like *immediately goes to comments to look for other Gregs*
He was in charge of their shorter videos for IG and FB.
"brings up watching videos on the toilet"
n-no you cant prove anything
LITTERALLY JUST SAT ON THE TOILET WHEN JAKE SAID IT😂😂😂😂
Sufian A OMG WHAT THE FUCK SAME NANANSJSISISISIDJDDIDID
Me too WTF!!!
Same
True
Same
You guys are craaaafty. Came here from the Matador video. You link a playlist instead of just this video. Pretty smart lol
Enjoyed this video a lot! Niko's take on editing was so interesting, always love hearing about the process. What a fun game! And wow yeah the standing pee thing would come in real handy, it takes me like 15 minutes to pee backpacking sometimes lol
Hey guys just wanted to say that I love all of you and your videos plz never stop
13:25 Wren said brein wich is the Dutch translation for brain the pronouncing was really good.
Wow
Het klinkte maar als de naam brain mat ja het zou kunnen
Ja zeker
Niko, youve truely become an inspiration and role model to me, your attitude and outlook on life an work and the way you think and deal with them is awesome. I cant putting it across properly but thank you.
Carmicheal is the nicest dude
Paiktra Nom yeah.....
He is the nicest German I ever knew...

I love the original videos, but I'm even more fascinated by the editing tips and tricks!
I think if someone read my amazon list, the items would seem pretty innocuous on their own. But together they get pretty suspicious.
This style of video feels much better than the last few, thank you guys!
Wait....Danny Gonzalez?!
Right???
Rose Beechler he used to work there and left to grow his channel
Also, Brett is such a good stuntman, has he ever been on high budget stuff? He nails it everytime
I'll have a much greater appreciation of these videos thanks to videos like these.
CMike, you need to share that with everyone!
This is a better video than the last couple. Thanks guys
I am learning so much from filmmaking by watching these vlogs... and also about NERF and One-Wheels...
Yaay! Our favorite vlog is back! This is what I came here for
I️m so happy you guys exist because you guys help me through ALOT of things and you guys kept me going thank you, you probably won’t see this but if you do thank you
9:41 that emergency list is good and all but i don't think even amazon will uphold it's 2 day shipping during an apocalypse...
Got called out for taking a shit within 5 seconds. 10/10
Obviously I'm not even really into camping, but Carmichael's list of all that camping stuff was cool as shit.
i enjoy sam and niko videos more than i enjoy corridor videos
6:36 Nope! The more you cut the less intense you make the scene!
Can’t explain to you how much I love these videos. There so much fun to watch.
I’m super late to the game here, but my short stint in film school, a teacher had us recut the Council of The Ring scene from the first LOTR. There were some amazing cuts.
I like that he wrote suscibe on the whiteboard and not subscribe.
I’ve had those chips my whole life and I never realized they’re only in Chicago
I think it coul'd be fun if after your release a corridor video ( once, not each time necessarily) you release all the footages just to see what peoples can do with it . Keep up the good vids !
This is a perfect BTS corridor digital video!!!) Awesome job guys!!!!
Love the new format. keep it up!
I will do my best to send a bag of those Chicago Mexican chips!
you are a saint
Danny Gonzalez I had them my whole life growing up. I didn't realize they were a Chicago only chip. Lol
You my friend have good taste lol
CHICAGO REPRESENT!
Danny Gonzalez i am a saint
Saying that everyone would edit it differently means everyone has their own PERFECT video
Seeing so many of the things in Carmichael’s survival list that I also have saved in mine made me happy haha
"people love buildups more than they like payoffs"
Tell that to all the people who won't ever watch GoT ever again.
Well the build up is the best part and that's what everyone says lol
I think Carmichael uses Amazon to prepare his zombie survival plan (or catastrophe bug-out bag).
Creepy I start watching this and they say I'm probably in the bathroom, right as I sit on the toilet.
Jake. Boughten. Don't be that guy. Don't be the guy that says "boughten".
6:45
I didn’t notice Jake was without pants until the Final Cut lmao
I have to thank Wren for recommending the Expaditionary Force Book series a few episoder bevore! I am loving it.
Dude I've had too much of your vid's I started like rewatching your vids and I saw how good Cmike has become from like the editing and dude Cmike has become really good dude Cmike I love you bro Ciao

Can't wait to watch that golden globe award winning RUclips fire content.
I love that Danny IS THE DUDE FROM VINE I THOUGHT HE WAS
Danny G worked at Corridor?! say what?!
Love wren's tee. I'm 1/4 through Oathbringer 😀
Awesome!!! It's my favorite Stormlight book for sure!! I didn't think Words of Radiance could be topped but DANG
It is the Corridor Crew now mate
In the scene Jake yelling "OH!" and stumbling backwards happens twice and it's quite obvious that it's repeated
Also, great points on editing. They say writing is rewriting. That has just as much say with editing as well
This channel is so incredible
Just came home from work and was literally taking a shit when i started the video. I now have a feeling that im being watched...
I'm convinced Carmichael is just high all the time
LOVE this video, so useful and interesting. Keep it up boys!
CMike looks absolutely stoned out of his mind, damn. Nice video guys.
I'm not taking a crap, I'm just back from Uni, relaxing in my room, drinking an iced coffee and watching my new subs

Meanwhile, CNC milling is subtract-ive, because you start with something and take away from that. Thought that this analogy really related to what you were doing.
Haha I always forget that Danny Gonzales worked for Corridor for a while until he pops up in vids like these

Bushcraft 101 is a great read. Good for everyone to have a copy of it, Dave has a lot of good techniques
Damnit, I'm in the bathroom. Why you gotta do me like that Jake.
2:34. DO NOT use "flushable wipes". Sure, they will flush and might not clog your toilet, but they'll clump and won't break down in the water.
I was literally about to ask if Cmike would share the list... I see you guys are a head of the game...
I'm usually eating when I watch videos.
Drummerboy_MikeD
Me too. There's a few channels like this where I save their new videos to watch during a meal, lol.
eww who eats on the toilet
Billy Hansen lol same
hey i just wanted 2 say i watch ur stuff and it makes me happy
I literally just walked into the bathroom as Jake said that... I immediately held it in out of spite. You can't predict me! No!
What did Danny Gonzales used to do at CD? vfx? Editing? What???
Acting and brainstorming I think. They wanted him to help with shorter content on IG and FB.
Directing
I like how the nerf rifle just sits above Danny's desk, as a friendly reminder of where he belongs
Drinking game:
Take a shot every time somebody says ”She’s lookin’ at suits for me!”
DO NOT pause at 0:57
My mom asked me why I was in the bathroom so long and it was because I was watching a ton of your videos. I’m back in the bathroom.
9:45 when a dooms day prepper meets a better dooms day prepper lmao
We need the emergancy list back in the description for 2020.
9:45 best part of the entire video

I never knew they only sold the ranchero chips here in Chicago, but they are delicious
I hope I can speak for all Brians in saying: We did not pick up on that, Wren
Having 2 gasps ruins the shock given from the first gasp. It's like you accidentally re-wound a VHS tape.
I think I edit the most like Niko. I love close up shots for days.
Wren, at 11:58 you forgot to paint out the zombie's leg that's supposed to be missing when he's hopping away from camera. It's in the final video too. Woops! Otherwise great job.

That miso is gooooooood!
Niko in the edit bay is in the zone
