FYI. Mashed potatoes in the pressure cooker are amazing! We made them once that way and now that is the only way I cook them. They cook quickly, about 5-6 minutes, and don’t boil over on the stove, which is always a plus. You used less water and most of it absorbs so the flavor stays in. Try it next time you make mashed potatoes. Joe and Peter looked so handsome! Both your dress and Maria’s were very pretty! I am from Michigan so dressing for Easter is always a problem because most of the time it is cold!
And instead of water, use chicken broth and it tastes wonderful to just leave that little bit in.
I love the headbands. They are very retro 💗. My head is shaped funny and headbands don’t stay on my head (even pinned). So, I am quick to admire when someone is wearing one. Love the sharing of your traditions.

I have done my eggs in the electronic pressure cooker for years...if anything happens to that cooker I will immediately replace it for the egg cooking if nothing else! Love having hardboiled eggs in the frig.

Weather has been beautiful this week in Missouri. Sunshine and 70s. Glad you had good Easter. Marie sure is changing. She is beautiful and sweet.

I am curious as to why you haven't replaced your dishwasher? With your large family it would be a time saver. Your children are so sweet.
Apple crisp.
I do not use flour. I use oatmeal, butter, brown sugar, cinnamon and dash salt for the topping.
I sometimes add walnut and raisin or cranberries to the apple crisp. I love that you use your apple peeler/ slicer for the crisp. That is so efficient.
Your cookie scoop is 1 oz. It is a #30 scoop.

Hi Jennifer...I loved your Easter video. All your food looked amazing. You're kids are so helpful and it's awesome that they love cooking and baking as much as they do.
It's okay, we realized we had bedbugs in our couch Easter Sunday, so this has been a crazy week with clearing our house so the professionals can treat it all for them. They do it every two weeks for a month or so till they know they are gone and their babies and eggs so it's a hard tedious job. At least we have a nice thorough spring cleaning and maybe even washing the carpets when it's all done. Thanks for sharing, I really love all you're channel and family life and have a blessed day!

Hi Jennifer. Oh my heart is with you! I know how it feels to be overwhelmed in the kitchen. It's times like that when I feel I can't breathe. Thank goodness you have wonderful kids that help you. I'm not too lucky in that area. Sometimes I just leave some things to tackle for the next day.❤
Not an avocado burger but a favorite in my small hometown at the "ChuckWagon" drive in was a potato burger!
They put a crispy potato hash brown patty( like Peter loves!)
in between the burger and cheese! Delicious!

I love appelcake. I often make a batter with butter, syrup( not mapel its from the sugercanes, dont know if u have it in the US) cream, oats and baking powder. It gets a crackeling top..im from Sweden and this is a very popular appelcake in Sweden.
Love your and Warren's little impromptu dates. When the hubby use to want to go look for turkey signs it was code for Let's get out from the kids for a few minutes and do some kissing and hugging haha

We use the spray that unwrinkles your clothes. It takes some smoothing and tugging, but it works great.
For that snow pile (I'm from NM so be gentle, our snow melts 20 minutes after it falls) could tou have put some hot water on it to make it soft enough to shovel.
It would’ve taken a lot of hot water and I wouldn’t of had the chance to get my frustrations out 🤣

I'm guessing that your ice pile is probably gone! I'm in Manitowoc and we were in the 80's today. The plowed pile was about 6ft last week and is gone now! Happy Easter And Happy Spring

My husband is diabetic and hasn't been able to have cranberry sauce for a very long time. Watching your channel inspired me to try to make sugar free cranberry sauce. I bought and froze a few bags of fresh cranberries at Christmastime. My attempt came out more like cranberry syrup, but he loves it anyway.

Our Greek Orthodox Easter is this weekend. Thursday (today) is traditionally the day for dying eggs red. Once translated we also say, Christ has risen, truly He has. On Easter Sunday we each take an egg and go up to someone saying ‘Christ has Risen’ while tapping their egg. They reply with ‘truly He has’. Whoever has an untracked egg or the least cracks is declared the winner.
