@@joshuaboyd487 I disagree. I've only experienced a couple minor bugs, none of them were in the cutscenes and none were game breaking. I'm having a blast playing this game. It's far less scary than dying light one, but definately not worse. The only underehelming things for me were: Cobat; Just like in dying light 1, combat vs zombies is mostly just flailing your weapon at them. I was hoping for mad combo's with clean animations. Skills; a lot of skills aren't cool/poweful enough to make you really look forward to unlocking them. (Parkour skills are pretty nice, but combat skills are just not really exciting overall)
I might be late to comment this but here's a list of bugs I've encountered so far (on the Xbox One series S): -Audio will randomly "explode", resulting in only hearing a buzzing noise, this will only go away by fully restarting the game. -A nightrunner safehouse in the lower dam ayre of the map will always show up grey colored aka "location not completed". -A black question mark remains at Jack and Joe's camp. So far as I can tell it's the same kind of question mark as the hideout near the Fish Eye and "the sniper" during the mission "snipers alley" (I think it's called that). This will always be on the map. Forever. -A UV-light is always marked on the hud. It will always be the UV light at the cathedral near the metro station of Saint Paul Island. -The sidequest "double time" will always reset even though I've already completed it. -The sidequest "The deserter" cannot be completed due to the fact that Meyer is invisible. This only happened so far because I did the sidequest called "Black widow" before this. I have a couple more but these that are more involved in the parkour aspect of the game but these are the worst one's for me right now.

These chtscene glitches happened to me too. The funniest glitch was when Aitor was being brought in on a door and his body was invisible so there was just a floating door
Not exactly game breaking but I cannot enjoy the story nor side missions when the incredebly common audio bug (ps4) happens, basically you cannot hear any triggered audio so no sound of something that is going to explode (died multiple times thanks to that) no mission dialogue (also subtitles deactivate) and the only way to fix it temporaly until its officially fixed is closing the game or sometimes reinstalling it
AAA games, the indie games actually work. Now watch the industry pivot and all of a sudden give those guys credit so they can make money there too. Its already happening. Only a matter of time before EA is trying to make "Indie" like games with microtransactions included.

To be fair u are lucky. Story and cut scenes are the weakest part of the game. It's one of the worst visual novels i've experienced for at least good few years.
Compared to every other major title release these past few years, I'd say this is the most impressive launch in terms of bugs/glitches. Real sad how low the bar has been set for AAA releases.

I played Dying Light 2 and did a few stream with my buddy and the amount of glitches we found while playing is hilarious. Its definitely playable but man do they have some updates to do 😅
This reminds me when I used a broken ps4 to play Detroit become human, the game played fine but certain charachters or objects were gone and sometimes I see just eyeballs and a weapon floating.
God dammit Charlie I wanted to see the ending too. I was on the edge of my seat haha. I had fun breaking Dead Island, and Dying Light 1. Those were some of my fondest memories of game glitches. So after this video I am so heavily looking forward to this one haha
imagine spending years of your life scripting scenes, recording lines, motion capturing a scene with actors, modelling every single object in the scene, texturing everything, adding sound effects and visual effects to the scene, then spending weeks cleaning up the animation by hand with a team of animators only for someone to purposely play the scenes like this.
