I was in GameStop at around 10 years old and of course really wanted to get GTA: San Andreas but mom wouldn't let me, so she asked the employee if there were any games similar to GTA that weren't rated M and he recommended Bully. It went on to be such an impactful and great game... it's still one of the best games I've played. I ended up going back to the Scholarship Edition for 360 years ago and 100%ing it. Thanks GameStop guy

Unfortunately Bully 2 got cancelled. It was in the works for several years but they ended up abandoning the project. The story was going to be about Jimmy going to college if I have it correct, according to the youtuber SWEGTA.

the games soundtrack is still one of my faves and most memorable, for example when you were getting tired and it was getting late, the music would sound slow and muddy and your vision would get worse, with jimmy being noticeably tired. But Bully is literally the most unique and game in rockstar's repertoire. It takes you back to days of young where of course we weren't no jimmy Hopkins but we all acted like we were lol. It's spectacular for so many reasons, and it's actually a fairly simple game.
The comercials for Max Payne where so good, my dad went out on his own and bought it for me. He never played games, and he only watched me play it for about 10min, lol. But he said the comercial was cool and thought id lik eit, lol.
I think it was also the fact that most of us were his age +-5 years, so we all saw alot of ourselves in him and could really commit to it. But it also was a fantastic game that everyone could enjoy cause the gameplay was amazing, the story was amazing, and the classes/minigames were dope af too. Everything about it was amazing. It's also like when R* knocked it out of the park with The Warriors prequel/present setting of the movie. The prequel they wrote for that game for in so well with the world that was already built, they did the characters justice and made them exactly how they were in the movie. Plus adding in the between game minigames and so much other fun stuff. The glory days of R* are something that I don't think will ever be repeated by any company and I'm so damn glad to have lived through it.
And now I actually hope they don't make a second one, because it would most likely be yet another game/franchise ruined by a half-assed, soulless sequel that has none of the things that made the original great.

I used to play this game so much I already memorized the entire map and locations of the collectibles and stuff. What a fun classic game, honestly. Also, I played it on the Wii, so for Jimmy to throw punches you had to shake the remote, which for me made the experience a whole more enjoyable lol

This is the only 'violence' game that I honestly remembered the characters and love them for their roles and personalities. Jimmy aside (he's my number one fav, no question), Russel is the strongest but his flaw is he's dumb af, on the other hand he's loyal to a fault and doesn't feel shame in apologizing. Derby is that one guy, I love his character and background story but I'd hate him irl, ngl. Johnny is madly in love, he's very charismatic that all of his underlings love him to a fault and loyal af to him but he loves too much and too hard, Lola isn't even that pretty. I'm very happy Charlie actually called them by their names, even the side characters.

This is nostalgic af. I was 9 when I bought this game. As an innocent elementary school kid I honestly just thought that gym teacher really did just want to clean up those dirty laundries. Innocent times.... I recommended Bully to my classmates and I'm pretty sure we just created something akin to Bully's gang faction. We trespass the rooftop and hung out there, have sparring fights and we called it "The Preppies Fight", et cetera et cetera. Just fun childhood memories lol

god this is one of my all time FAVORITE games. i remember when my mother had come back from living in puerto rico when i was in high school and one of the things we bonded over was this game. she tore through it and beat it even before i did 🤣which is hilarious because she was quick to condemn it when the whole controversy was happening, but she gave it a chance and loved it. still talks about it to this day.

I could literally GUSH over this game to anyone and everyone, this game was a huge part of my life growing up, and I remember a lot of the lines and the music and just a bunch of random stuff from the game because I played it that much. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did :)
YES ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITES! Bully was a yearly playthrough for me growing up usually during the holidays of school like Thanksgiving and Christmas because of how immersive the world was. Happy to see you love it
This was a game I played growing up, and I really hope Rockstar does something with the Bully universe, like a sequel or a remaster, but somehow manage to not fuck it up completely like the GTA Remastered Trilogy.
charlie, some of my earliest memories were always walking into the living room and watching my brother playing this game for hours on end, he obviously doesn’t play it anymore but i absolutely loved every time i saw him boot up the game. him and i got really close from this, and he oftentimes would pass me the controller to let me skate around and explore. i always try and find people who do let’s plays of this game, but nobody too engaging to watch (in my opinion) has played it. so, thank you! i loved this video

I know my way around Bullworth Academy more than I did my college campus. I owned it on the ps2 when it first released but revisited it on the 360 a few years ago to 100% it. This game is so special to me and will forever hold a special place in my heart. Also, that twangy bass in the ost still occasionally plays in my head lol.

I gotta agree. I also think the gameplay was just more interesting. I think a more melee based mechanic is more fun than RockStar's gunplay.

I used to play this game so much I already memorized the entire map and locations of the collectibles and stuff. What a fun classic game, honestly. Also, I played it on the Wii, so for Jimmy to throw punches you had to shake the remote, which for me made the experience a whole more enjoyable lol

This is the only 'violence' game that I honestly remembered the characters and love them for their roles and personalities. Jimmy aside (he's my number one fav, no question), Russel is the strongest but his flaw is he's dumb af, on the other hand he's loyal to a fault and doesn't feel shame in apologizing.
Derby is that one guy, I love his character and background story but I'd hate him irl, ngl.
Johnny is madly in love, he's very charismatic that all of his underlings love him to a fault and loyal af to him but he loves too much and too hard, Lola isn't even that pretty.
I'm very happy Charlie actually called them by their names, even the side characters.

Bully is such an phenomenal game that truly doesn't get the recognition it deserves. I was actual really hyped that Charlie got to play this game despite it being the "Losing Choice" in the poll when he streamed this.
This game was one of my first solo story-driven games I've ever played, and I always wished for a sequel or a reboot/another take on this universe by Rockstar. This game is truly mind-blowing in what it could achieve, even though it came out in the 2000's. Such ahead of its time. The countless nights I've stayed up playing this.

I recommended Bully to my classmates and I'm pretty sure we just created something akin to Bully's gang faction. We trespass the rooftop and hung out there, have sparring fights and we called it "The Preppies Fight", et cetera et cetera. Just fun childhood memories lol

god this is one of my all time FAVORITE games. i remember when my mother had come back from living in puerto rico when i was in high school and one of the things we bonded over was this game. she tore through it and beat it even before i did 🤣which is hilarious because she was quick to condemn it when the whole controversy was happening, but she gave it a chance and loved it. still talks about it to this day.

charlie, some of my earliest memories were always walking into the living room and watching my brother playing this game for hours on end, he obviously doesn’t play it anymore but i absolutely loved every time i saw him boot up the game. him and i got really close from this, and he oftentimes would pass me the controller to let me skate around and explore. i always try and find people who do let’s plays of this game, but nobody too engaging to watch (in my opinion) has played it. so, thank you! i loved this video

HOLY SHIT, I absolutely LOVE watching playthroughs of Bully. The dingy, lord of the flies esque school atmosphere combined with the OST is just amazing, and it's totally up Charlie's alley. SO excited to watch the full stream.
I recently beat Bully on nintendo wii, and I gotta say it feels like the best version. Combat and some class mini games become fun with motion controls. Biology is S tier...
I remember shrugging this game off as a kid, because I thought that playing through a game that took place in School, a place that I hated, was a dumb idea.

They never canceled the sequel. They were talking about a canned version in 2009. Everyone already knew this hence why they said the version you'll never play hinting at a bully 2

Ofc take everything I say with a grain of salt but alot of fans are disgruntled with Rockstar and are tired of gta 5 until gta 6 comes out. I say bully 2 comes out in 2023 or possibly another game but there is a game coming. It's just a matter of when.

I know my way around Bullworth Academy more than I did my college campus. I owned it on the ps2 when it first released but revisited it on the 360 a few years ago to 100% it. This game is so special to me and will forever hold a special place in my heart. Also, that twangy bass in the ost still occasionally plays in my head lol.

This is probably one of my most cherished games that i ever played, i remember my dad coming home with this new game and i was like what the hell is this, I saw the rockstar logo and gave it a shot, and oh boi was i in for a ride.
