As an astrologer and human design analyst as well as life long philosophical mind.. I have pondered with this question for some time now! And I truly feel that all we can do is notice the correlation between the cosmos and the events we experience in our lives. We have a map essentially when we’re born. But yes, we ultimately have NO FREE WILL, because we are not a separate being from the one being that is in all things.. this is a nondualism philosophy that I’ve surrendered to recently. And yes it’s magical and poetic - just like that RuMi quote you mentioned!❤
Many belief systems are basically the same with subtle differences that sometimes are just superficial. I appreciate your perspective. I had many similar ones growing up & in my earlier years & they served me in that phase of my life, as I'm sure they do you now. In time we start to look at things differently because although life is indeed magical, it's also complicated in ways we can't, nor do we have the emotional capacity to, comprehend in our early years. The magic or poetic nature of things becomes a little less important as we make room for a level of realism that allows us to forgive deep trespasses, forgive ourselves & others for our humanity and we realize that WE ACTUALLY KNOW SO LITTLE. We no longer try to comprehend the vastness of life & we let go as a way of life.
I loved this video, I have chris’ book and course and I love your passion when you speak about it! I am a Baby astrologer but I am fluent in human design and gene keys and all of this makes sense, because hd is about “no choice” so it makes me giggle the amount of people who still believe and try to manifest their daily lives. It’s so much more peaceful to believe in fate/no choice.
Agree with all the points, if a person is meant to live at some place and experience the situations whether good or bad, it is not in the person's hand.
In my views, this world is in constant conflict. Man vs nature. nations vs nations. race wars. We may walk on same grounds but actually are on different levels of soul evolution in terms of either physical or consciousness.
Have you tried using magic to avoid or at least diminish the bad? This is a way to give destiny a favorable direction, as much as possible. You certainly can't change fate radically, but you don't need to activate everything bad about it. Sometimes magic goes further than making a choice about whether or not to do this or that. Try it!
