Hello! I found your channel on YT about a year ago. So excited to see you here! Should ppl mid-40s and older use a progressed chart with astrocartography? My natal and progressed charts are drastically different. I have to move soon and I'm not sure which map to follow, natal or progressed. The lines are completely different on the map. It's so interesting! Thank you for sharing and I plan to enroll in your course 🙂
This was a good episode. I've been studying relocation astrology for many years now, fun stuff. However, I had not heard of the zodiacal release method until I found this channel. It would be great if you could address that method with the relocation astrology next time you do an episode on that. We get new angles to our charts by relocating. They are not used for sec. progressions nor solar arcs, but theg still function with the original as added points of interest. So, it would be great to explore whether the sign of the zodiacal release changes when you move if the sign of POF, POS and POE change and if you need to take it from there in a new location if you live there for years or decades.
I was born and grew up near my Uranus IC line, and even though I loved the place, I never felt like I belonged. About 6 years ago I moved all the way across the country for school and was very quickly struck by how at home and at peace I felt, so I ended up staying. It was only years later that I learned that I had moved near my Sun, Venus and Mercury IC lines. 🙂
I lived on my Saturn AC line for 13 years, and could feel the energy dissipate every time I drove away. The constriction in my body would physically ease. While I was living there, every muscle in my body seized up and I developed severe chronic illnesses. Anxiety at an all time high. TONS of social drama where I was continually scapegoated and misunderstood. But it taught me a LOT about my spiritual purpose and helped me mature in ways I never could have otherwise! Im now looking to move to one of my other lines and was actually hoping to book a reading with Helena! glad to hear her on the podcast.
I just commented mentioning that I’m currently on my Saturn line in LA, USA. All of the things you mention are so real. It’s HEAVY here!!! But I knew I had to come here for my return and I even became a parent here. Undoubtedly the most Saturnian location I’ll be living. Every time I leave I can feel the shift, too. Anywhere I go from here, it’ll be lighter. I’m so excited to relocate to France with my partner- I have so much activity there it’s like the peak area for a few of my lines intersecting. I can’t wait. I’m ready for a more Uranian adventure next.
Ironically Uranus is dancing over my descendant and will be in my 7th for the long haul so I can see the patterns of the location affecting how I view everything. 🎉🎉🎉 I have too much to thank my Saturn line for. It’s been the reality check I needed amidst the absolute nonsense that Hollywood can invite. Strange actually to have Saturn here- seeing all of the facade for what it is, veils being torn, and like you mentioned- feeling misunderstood and social drama- nooo thank you, man. I’m over it
This has been my experience on Saturn Asc too! I also have Jupiter, Chiron, Uranus and even Neptune if you go a little further all in this same area, it's actually kinda crazy in all honesty lol. Anywho, as soon as a I get away from some of these lines I literally start to feel the difference too, and don't get me started on when I drive away from Saturn/Pluto crossings! Phew! I have literal fear coursing through my body and I didn't even know why, and then I saw it had those crossings. BUT! When I was on my Sun MC line, even when things would go wrong, I wasn't as stressed! I was still happy and shining and going about my daily business, even though I just moved across country into a place (site unseen, all done virtually) and it had cockroaches, a mean building manager, grouchy neighbours - the works lol! I lived in an absolute ghetto too, and yet? I could dance, smile, and sing every morning and I was still happy! The stress didn't course through my body. I could have nothing going wrong near my Saturn and Chiron lines and feel completely afraid, uneasy, stressed...It's so freaking horrible!!! I plan on moving back to my Sun line, but this time even closer! :P
My sun is the ruler of my chart and intuitively, I've always been drawn towards Costa Rica and Italy. Turns out Costa Rica is my AC Sun line and Italy is my DC Sun line! I just moved to Costa Rica to experience my astrocartography and I am in awe at how accurate this system is!

I've moved to Costa Rica to focus on building my career as the AC Sunline activates focus, courage and illuminates my uniqueness in the world (all important things to have for getting started in business). Plus, when I change my birth location in my natal chart for the place I moved to, Saturn falls on my MC and my Sun, Moon Mercury are all in my second house.

Astrocartography / Relocational astrology works very well because we are looking at the same moment in time in various countries at the time of your birth.
When I lived in California, I lived almost directly on my Mars line. I was always uncomfortable and anxious the various times I lived there. Once I found astrocartography, I remember looking at this and everything making so much sense.
Ditto - I moved to a mars line just before I learned about this subject, and I wanted to like it so badly but it was really a tense time. It was like everything was fighting against my intentions.
For the last 18 years, my husband and I have lived in Minneapolis due to work. Relocation brings my Mars/Chiron conjunction in Aquarius to an exact conjunction with the IC at 29 degrees and shifts Neptune to the first. Neptune squares Mars/ Chiron natally. In the time that we have lived here, we’ve lost all 4 of our parents, two of whom we physically cared for and lost our youngest son when he was shot because of a shady business deal gone wrong. It’s been the hardest two decades of our lives.
Also went to university on my Saturn/Pluto line. And yes, was broke, hungry, isolated. The weather was also so gloomy and rainy. But I look back at the time with gratitude because I grew up so much and put in the work that I'm still benefitting from today.
Omg, I too relocated to Seattle and 6 yrs later I'm still experiencing your exact challenges. I have Jupiter conj MC, it's been absolutely brutal and punishing from the start. I feel better knowing I'm not alone, thank you for sharing.

After seeing this podcast episode, I booked a session with Helena. Wow! What a great reading.! I got so many good ideas. She even identified places I had been "zillowing". I definitely think location matters. We actually feel different in some places (or maybe just feel like a better or more comfortable version of ourselves.) Such a fascinating topic! I moved to Big Island Hawaii 7 years ago and it is literally bordered for me by Jupiter DC & Saturn AC lines and the tension is REAL. Lots of expansion spiritually, learning, growing AND isolating, hard work & totally restructured my life over the last 7 years. My husband has 4 lines that circle the islands & we both have parans that run through here. To say we were magnetized here is an understatement! Can’t wait to dive deeper
I moved to Hilo for 'golden years.' Uranus line goes directly thru Hilo. I have not made a friend in 3 years, broken relationship with my 29 year old son who has Meth addiction and severe mental health, bi-polar, etc who I moved here from CA to finish probation. Hoping I could get him help and he no longer sees or talks to me. I have broken my ankle, my heels and my wrist. Have developed AFIB, all with a severely challenged health care system here. I have lived here before....Volcano, Pahala, Hawi. Worked in Kona. Thought I knew what I was getting in to. Life was so good then. I am still captivated by the energy, ocean, beauty, etc. Very little money so don't know how to even think about moving as I am 72 and have no family or help. I'm exhausted. Yikes!
I was aware of this when I was younger thanks to astrodientist, and noticed that I had a strong Saturn line going down through the NYC metro area (my place of origin where I've spent many of my years, even now), and a strong Venus line going down through Peru; in Peru I made way more friends more easily than ever, and had opportunities thrown at me left and right by my loving and growing network, great progress in Dieta with the Curandero, made friends with Qero Shamans in Cusco, etc etc (granted this 7 month long trip was during a 1st House Profection year...). Then I came back home, and problems problems problems...starting with stopping a friend from strangling the mother of his child, more than once, on the morning of Christmas Eve...followed by a near death experience thanks to exposure to Black Mold...yay Saturn

I moved there 10 years ago which turned out to be at the crossing of my Mars-ASC (Capricorn) and Jupiter-MC line (Scorpio)! For me living on the Mars-ASC line is a good experience as it brings my "invisible" natal Capricorn Mars (in the 12th house without aspects, only planet in Earth) out to the open. Thankfully, it has a strong grounding effect on my heavily Air-Fire dominant chart and character.😉 The Jupiter-MC line offered a lot of professional opportunities and a significant step-up in my (corporate) career. I love the place!!! 😍

Oddest coincidence for me this year is this video. I have watched Helena for several years on RUclips (since she moved to France and did her series of Slow Living). I also watch astrology videos and this video just auto-played for me; I didn't select it. I glanced over and thought "Huh, she looks like the girl from the Slow Living Channel". It was a great pleasure to watch this episode, love how enthusiastic Helena is about Astrocartography and locational astrology and always fun to hear examples especially analyzed with a few methods. Lots of great points mentioned! So glad that hopefully now more people will realize that it is an amazing tool yet requires a lot of knowledge and experience, as well as caution. I've been learning and practicing locational astrology for a few years and can't stop being amazed how many shades & tints various positions can represent, how many events signify. If would be interesting to hear a separate episode about local space lines and cyclocartography as well as examples of concrete travels/home places of couples & families how different places felt to them. Chris, you can also check the little squares at the Astro Click and it shows other aspects as well which I personally love seeing. At the "more details" field usually at the bottom it mentions the distance of crossings (parans). Although AstroMaps in SolarFire is a much more visual tool, can be hard to learn for some people though. Important to be aware of what settings you are using.
I am just watching this now and kind of following along with my own chart lines and I noticed that I passed through my Mars/MC line while traveling a few years ago and got major heat stroke!! And my Moon/AC line goes right through my dad’s homeland in New Zealand 💕 definitely feel very comforted and at home there

Helena is a delight to listen to and I loved the questions from Chris. Many times I had to pause and look at my astrocartography chart. I have lived in 4 different countries, different cities/towns/villages and also travelled all over the world. I had an intuitive reading with a woman the other week and she said Edinburgh was calling, that it is a place for me to start my creative business and everything I'm dreaming of can manifest there, that I would meet someone there. I even had a dream about what she was saying a few months before the reading. I had to look at my lines for Edinburgh and was very surprised at what I read! Not entirely sure what these lines mean but I shall look at my own chart and transits: The following Power line is close to this point: Moon's Node/MC Line 237 km The following points are located at the same geographical latitude and have therefore an influence: Crossing Mercury/Mars / Crossing Neptune/Pluto / Crossing Mercury/Neptune / Crossing Jupiter/Saturn / Crossing Moon/Venus /

Wow this is so awesome - it is a whole new world for me ! I was born and live in South Africa, about 250km south of the Tropic of Capricorn (Capricorn rising with Sun and Saturn in Aquarius). At a glance - and if I understand it correctly - it seems that a good place for me to live out my rebellious nature would Ghana, or Mali to get in touch with with my deeper Plutonian subconscious... I have only 4 points on continents and the rest on islands. The place where I should reach the pinnacle of spiritual growth is on the island of Tonga. This is facinating.
I’m a fan of A*C*G. The Uranus is in the 3rd house of my natal chart. However, I relocate to Singapore where the Uranus coincides with the IC on the relocation chart which results in moving house 3 times in 4 years. While living in the current place, I constantly encounter electrical and wifi internet router issues 😂. All in all, this is how Uranus affects me day to day now. Thanks for this episode, in my case, I moved to Montreal almost 14 years ago, when I learned about this technique I found out that my Venus falls in my ascendant and since I moved I felt really good in here, I also have been developping my selfsteem through different kind of experiences that I've been living (my natal Venus is in square to Saturn) I got much more and in depth info about this type of astrology 😊😊 I loved it. And I'm following Helena now 😊

this was a great episode, i normally listen but thanks for the prompt to watch, the visuals really helped. i appreciated everything you discussed, especially the point that moving will not magically erase the fundamental truths of your birth chart, and also the importance of transits, location isn’t a magic bullet but yet another tool to consider. astrology is so complex and this episode definitely brought forth even more layers to try and understand, but you both did a great job of explaining things. 👏

Slowly over time, every episode released is unraveling answers to the questions I’ve had for years but have put to the wayside to go deeper with what’s more readily available, which is different than the questions I’ve had. Thank you for finding people who have a focus on these topics and can give in depth information. You cannot find this info anywhere else in the way you are doing it.
Currently on my Saturn line in Los Angeles. It’s so strong here. I went through my Saturn return here, became a parent here, feels like the hardest chapter of my life where certain things that were easier even 3 hours north on the coast of California for instance, are out of reach due to my location.
So interesting, thank you for this! I looked up my chart and noticed lines through all of the places I’ve visited and considered living permanently. And my moon IC line went through a city I lived in for 7 years.

Thank you for this. I feel a need to dive deeper as I have been desiring to move since my kids have grown and are established in their lives. No lines are near my birthplace and where I've lived my entire life in the Pacific Northwest. The only line of any significance to my chart is my Venus MC which crosses very near Bali where I spent my 2nd Saturn return (in 9th, in Aquarius) and committed to my spiritual journey! Natal Venus return at end of Libra Season. I want to live somewhere I LOVE, can express LOVE and feel LOVED in return. (Definitely felt that in Bali as I embraced Hinduism and the beautiful Balinese people)
I’m about to move next month and it happens to be right on my Venus/ic line and I was reading the description of the location and it listed literally everything I want to happen in my life. It said that those things are highlighted into the area I’m moving to
In 2020 i moved because my intuition was pulling me to the pnw i didnt know where but I just knew I couldn't deny it ended up getting into astrology deeply while there and found I was on my pluto chiron line I had also met a women who told me I was a healer and she mentored me with reiki in exchange for working at her shop it was magical and painful all at the same time did so much healing and I truely feel I went there to let the old me die as I healed deep wounds... omg edited to add as im listeing to more you guys mention meeting people with that planet on their ac so i went and checked her chart she has pluto conjunct her rising 😂
I did that and ended up doing a lot of personal development/trauma recovery work. It was educational but also hard bc there were events that triggered the need for it.

First time to check out this, and I was born nearly exactly on Neptune/ Ic line, lived first 19 years 40km east from it before moving abot 100km from Saturn/Asc and living there about 20 years. Then I felt the energy of that region was done, and now live 90km west from N/Ic with Pluto Ic/node Asc & Mars Asc/ node mc, and mercury, venus& jupiter stuff going on and Im waymore satisfied and easy going. That Saturn era was internally hard, but it layed grounds for this self reliance and satisfaction. Great technique. Also probably have activated loads of stuff by having global correspondance from young age.
Thank you Chris and Helena, a truly fascinating conversation with engaging explanations and chart examples. I was called to look at the cartography of birthchart and moves since. Particularly of interest were two favourite holiday destinations, Byron Bay and Fraser Island in Australia where I felt truly at home, especially when I went alone, I would meet people etc., I have Venus ic line there! I also had a truly mystical deja vu holiday in Ubud, Bali, so so good, where I have a sun/ic line. I also checked my current home of 10 yrs with nth node connection! I'm so grateful to you both for assisting all of us to gain self knowledge about past and events and for future planning. I also like both your optimism and caution.....there are always going to be opportunities and challenges! 💜💜

Appreciate how deep Helena has gone into this because most of my lines seem to be in the oceans or really far away and remote! 🤦🏾♂️😅 Cyclocartography makes sense if you think about it... The right/wrong person, the time and the place all being intricate factors/catalysts in major events, and their outcomes. Love how you made the Disneyland/Mercury/California and Disneyworld/Neptune/Florida connections Chris, literally watched an another astrologer talk about him (and his brother Roy) quite recently too. The doors this opens if you can utilise it well must be amazing! I'm very aware just from watching transits how I and others appear to me via transits too!
I actually moved close to my Saturn line for my Saturn return and it was rough, but it was a master class in adulting. I loved hearing about paranas - puts my Jupiter DC line into perspective. I've been planning a trip to Kyoto to experience this line firsthand (it goes straight through Osaka and Kyoto) but the parans there are sth to consider before I plan anything.
I was born on uranus neptune line on sydney. Both conjunct my ascendant, have changed houses every few years since i was 6 yo and discovered major family secrets in my adult years that changed my life.

I've lived in an area for 23 years that puts my Saturn right on the ascendant. I am someone who has never reacted that badly to Saturn, it is in Capricorn in the 8th house and then Jupiter is in the Saturn ruled 9th house in Aquarius, so that may be part of it, getting a positivity boost from Jupiter's stromg connection to Saturn. I always was very deprived of a love life early in life, I never had a girlfriend ever though I wanted one. But in this place I got very happily married to a very Saturnian lady, her Saturn is conjunct the Moon in Capricorn in her 6th house. Its a very stable and peaceful marriage we will never break up also Saturn positive side stuff. We are both going through our Saturn Mahadasha from Vedic astrology as well and actually these positions for planets I give you are Vedic/Jyotish positions. I think western astrology is offbase as far as the signs go, my Vedic planetary positions and angles describe me to a tee, I always was really puzzled by much Western aspect of my chart, has me as Cancer rising, there is no way, I am Gemini rising to a tee puttting my Taurus moon in the twelfth house which is very much me, very connected to unconcious and dreams and rather isolated, not 11th house moon, all about clubs and groups and socities, cannot stand that stuff!
i haven't traveled very much, but when i was 5, my family relocated to my Sun IC line. it's the only place that feels like home, and though i've tried, i can't imagine being happy living anywhere else. this city is a huge part of my identity, actually, i talk about it all the time.

It’s actually super interesting and cool that F. Scott Fitzgerald is buried very close to his Pluto IC line!! He’s buried in Rockville area of MD (with Zelda). When I lived there, I visited the grave.
This is such a basic and embarrassing question, but here goes: Do I use a relocated chart for all of my transits regardless? Is it my new chart for the rest of my life if I don’t move?

I currently live on my Saturn DC line and boy oh boy does it suck! There is a major block in relationships for me. Even friendships are hard to acquire and maintain here. On the flipside, my NN ASC, Venus ASC, Moon IC, Chiron MC and Uranus IC lines all run through India. Clearly I have karma and a soul mission related to that country.
I was born by my Neptune line which is my 4th house. The astro location humor, I could make a long list. 2 favorite songs are Lowlife by Front Line Assembly and Ænima from Tool. Los Angeles is directly on my 12th Leo sun line. I always laugh when I see that. I also canceled a potential vacation that’s on my Pluto line due to it being near a war that just started. “I’ll visit, but I’m not going East..” definitely not going to now. I’ve never tried a complete “relocation”, sounds interesting.
I feel like it’s so tricky especially as a parent I look at mine my husband and my children . This one place I really like it’s good for every but my oldest son putting him with Saturn on the IC ( although he has Jupiter natal on the IC and Saturn is not the greater malefic I still don’t want to have him be unhappy in anyway 😢. I heard that’s if it’s not directly on the angle that it’s less impactful . Any thoughts on this ?
Amazing,,, I will say she speaks about it as if it was channeled information like human design...but technically this form of astrocartography is astroNOMICAL alignments. In addition, they are speaking of the placements being just on the AC, IC, DS, and MC.....Those are the main points yes but one also has aspect lines too!

Perhaps I missed if this was discussed during, but say you have difficult planetary placements in the 12th house, would moving to another location where these go to the 11th or 1st house (even outside of landing on a positive line) be a way to resolve their issues?

My natal and progressed charts are drastically different. I have to move soon and I'm not sure which map to follow, natal or progressed. The lines are completely different on the map. This was a good episode. I've been studying relocation astrology for many years now, fun stuff.
However, I had not heard of the zodiacal release method until I found this channel. It would be great if you could address that method with the relocation astrology next time you do an episode on that.
We get new angles to our charts by relocating. They are not used for sec. progressions nor solar arcs, but theg still function with the original as added points of interest.
So, it would be great to explore whether the sign of the zodiacal release changes when you move if the sign of POF, POS and POE change and if you need to take it from there in a new location if you live there for years or decades.

I was born and grew up near my Uranus IC line, and even though I loved the place, I never felt like I belonged. About 6 years ago I moved all the way across the country for school and was very quickly struck by how at home and at peace I felt, so I ended up staying. It was only years later that I learned that I had moved near my Sun, Venus and Mercury IC lines. 🙂
I lived on my Saturn AC line for 13 years, and could feel the energy dissipate every time I drove away. The constriction in my body would physically ease. While I was living there, every muscle in my body seized up and I developed severe chronic illnesses. Anxiety at an all time high. TONS of social drama where I was continually scapegoated and misunderstood. But it taught me a LOT about my spiritual purpose and helped me mature in ways I never could have otherwise! Im now looking to move to one of my other lines and was actually hoping to book a reading with Helena! glad to hear her on the podcast.

I just commented mentioning that I’m currently on my Saturn line in LA, USA. All of the things you mention are so real. It’s HEAVY here!!! But I knew I had to come here for my return and I even became a parent here. Undoubtedly the most Saturnian location I’ll be living. Every time I leave I can feel the shift, too. Anywhere I go from here, it’ll be lighter. I’m so excited to relocate to France with my partner- I have so much activity there it’s like the peak area for a few of my lines intersecting. I can’t wait. I’m ready for a more Uranian adventure next.
Ironically Uranus is dancing over my descendant and will be in my 7th for the long haul so I can see the patterns of the location affecting how I view everything. 🎉🎉🎉 I have too much to thank my Saturn line for. It’s been the reality check I needed amidst the absolute nonsense that Hollywood can invite. Strange actually to have Saturn here- seeing all of the facade for what it is, veils being torn, and like you mentioned- feeling misunderstood and social drama- nooo thank you, man. I’m over it
This has been my experience on Saturn Asc too! I also have Jupiter, Chiron, Uranus and even Neptune if you go a little further all in this same area, it's actually kinda crazy in all honesty lol. Anywho, as soon as a I get away from some of these lines I literally start to feel the difference too, and don't get me started on when I drive away from Saturn/Pluto crossings! Phew! I have literal fear coursing through my body and I didn't even know why, and then I saw it had those crossings. BUT! When I was on my Sun MC line, even when things would go wrong, I wasn't as stressed! I was still happy and shining and going about my daily business, even though I just moved across country into a place (site unseen, all done virtually) and it had cockroaches, a mean building manager, grouchy neighbours - the works lol! I lived in an absolute ghetto too, and yet? I could dance, smile, and sing every morning and I was still happy! The stress didn't course through my body. I could have nothing going wrong near my Saturn and Chiron lines and feel completely afraid, uneasy, stressed...It's so freaking horrible!!! I plan on moving back to my Sun line, but this time even closer! :P
My sun is the ruler of my chart and intuitively, I've always been drawn towards Costa Rica and Italy. Turns out Costa Rica is my AC Sun line and Italy is my DC Sun line! I just moved to Costa Rica to experience my astrocartography and I am in awe at how accurate this system is!

I've moved to Costa Rica to focus on building my career as the AC Sunline activates focus, courage and illuminates my uniqueness in the world (all important things to have for getting started in business). Plus, when I change my birth location in my natal chart for the place I moved to, Saturn falls on my MC and my Sun, Moon Mercury are all in my second house.

Astrocartography / Relocational astrology works very well because we are looking at the same moment in time in various countries at the time of your birth.
When I lived in California, I lived almost directly on my Mars line. I was always uncomfortable and anxious the various times I lived there. Once I found astrocartography, I remember looking at this and everything making so much sense.
Ditto - I moved to a mars line just before I learned about this subject, and I wanted to like it so badly but it was really a tense time. It was like everything was fighting against my intentions.
For the last 18 years, my husband and I have lived in Minneapolis due to work. Relocation brings my Mars/Chiron conjunction in Aquarius to an exact conjunction with the IC at 29 degrees and shifts Neptune to the first. Neptune squares Mars/ Chiron natally. In the time that we have lived here, we’ve lost all 4 of our parents, two of whom we physically cared for and lost our youngest son when he was shot because of a shady business deal gone wrong. It’s been the hardest two decades of our lives.

Such a fascinating topic! I moved to Big Island Hawaii 7 years ago and it is literally bordered for me by Jupiter DC & Saturn AC lines and the tension is REAL. Lots of expansion spiritually, learning, growing AND isolating, hard work & totally restructured my life over the last 7 years. My husband has 4 lines that circle the islands & we both have parans that run through here. To say we were magnetized here is an understatement! Can’t wait to dive deeper
I moved to Hilo for 'golden years.' Uranus line goes directly thru Hilo. I have not made a friend in 3 years, broken relationship with my 29 year old son who has Meth addiction and severe mental health, bi-polar, etc who I moved here from CA to finish probation. Hoping I could get him help and he no longer sees or talks to me. I have broken my ankle, my heels and my wrist. Have developed AFIB, all with a severely challenged health care system here. I have lived here before....Volcano, Pahala, Hawi. Worked in Kona. Thought I knew what I was getting in to. Life was so good then. I am still captivated by the energy, ocean, beauty, etc. Very little money so don't know how to even think about moving as I am 72 and have no family or help. I'm exhausted. Yikes!

I was aware of this when I was younger thanks to astrodientist, and noticed that I had a strong Saturn line going down through the NYC metro area (my place of origin where I've spent many of my years, even now), and a strong Venus line going down through Peru; in Peru I made way more friends more easily than ever, and had opportunities thrown at me left and right by my loving and growing network, great progress in Dieta with the Curandero, made friends with Qero Shamans in Cusco, etc etc (granted this 7 month long trip was during a 1st House Profection year...). Then I came back home, and problems problems problems...starting with stopping a friend from strangling the mother of his child, more than once, on the morning of Christmas Eve...followed by a near death experience thanks to exposure to Black Mold...yay Saturn

I moved there 10 years ago which turned out to be at the crossing of my Mars-ASC (Capricorn) and Jupiter-MC line (Scorpio)! For me living on the Mars-ASC line is a good experience as it brings my "invisible" natal Capricorn Mars (in the 12th house without aspects, only planet in Earth) out to the open. Thankfully, it has a strong grounding effect on my heavily Air-Fire dominant chart and character.😉 The Jupiter-MC line offered a lot of professional opportunities and a significant step-up in my (corporate) career. I love the place!!! 😍

Oddest coincidence for me this year is this video. I have watched Helena for several years on RUclips (since she moved to France and did her series of Slow Living). I also watch astrology videos and this video just auto-played for me; I didn't select it. I glanced over and thought "Huh, she looks like the girl from the Slow Living Channel". It was a great pleasure to watch this episode, love how enthusiastic Helena is about Astrocartography and locational astrology and always fun to hear examples especially analyzed with a few methods. Lots of great points mentioned! So glad that hopefully now more people will realize that it is an amazing tool yet requires a lot of knowledge and experience, as well as caution. I've been learning and practicing locational astrology for a few years and can't stop being amazed how many shades & tints various positions can represent, how many events signify.
If would be interesting to hear a separate episode about local space lines and cyclocartography as well as examples of concrete travels/home places of couples & families how different places felt to them.

Chris, you can also check the little squares at the Astro Click and it shows other aspects as well which I personally love seeing. At the "more details" field usually at the bottom it mentions the distance of crossings (parans). Although AstroMaps in SolarFire is a much more visual tool, can be hard to learn for some people though. Important to be aware of what settings you are using.
I am just watching this now and kind of following along with my own chart lines and I noticed that I passed through my Mars/MC line while traveling a few years ago and got major heat stroke!! And my Moon/AC line goes right through my dad’s homeland in New Zealand 💕 definitely feel very comforted and at home there

Just finished listening to this episode! I have to say this was one of my favourites. Helena is a delight to listen to and I loved the questions from Chris. Many times I had to pause and look at my astrocartography chart. I have lived in 4 different countries, different cities/towns/villages and also travelled all over the world.
I had an intuitive reading with a woman the other week and she said Edinburgh was calling, that it is a place for me to start my creative business and everything I'm dreaming of can manifest there, that I would meet someone there. I even had a dream about what she was saying a few months before the reading. I had to look at my lines for Edinburgh and was very surprised at what I read! Not entirely sure what these lines mean but I shall look at my own chart and transits:

Wow this is so awesome - it is a whole new world for me ! I was born and live in South Africa, about 250km south of the Tropic of Capricorn (Capricorn rising with Sun and Saturn in Aquarius). At a glance - and if I understand it correctly - it seems that a good place for me to live out my rebellious nature would Ghana, or Mali to get in touch with with my deeper Plutonian subconscious... I have only 4 points on continents and the rest on islands. The place where I should reach the pinnacle of spiritual growth is on the island of Tonga. This is facinating.
I’m a fan of A*C*G. The Uranus is in the 3rd house of my natal chart. However, I relocate to Singapore where the Uranus coincides with the IC on the relocation chart which results in moving house 3 times in 4 years. While living in the current place, I constantly encounter electrical and wifi internet router issues 😂. All in all, this is how Uranus affects me day to day now. Thanks for this episode, in my case, I moved to Montreal almost 14 years ago, when I learned about this technique I found out that my Venus falls in my ascendant and since I moved I felt really good in here, I also have been developping my selfsteem through different kind of experiences that I've been living (my natal Venus is in square to Saturn)
I got much more and in depth info about this type of astrology 😊😊 I loved it. And I'm following Helena now 😊

Oh my goodness your channel is so awesome. Slowly over time, every episode released is unraveling answers to the questions I’ve had for years but have put to the wayside to go deeper with what’s more readily available, which is different than the questions I’ve had. Thank you for finding people who have a focus on these topics and can give in depth information. You cannot find this info anywhere else in the way you are doing it.
Currently on my Saturn line in Los Angeles. It’s so strong here. I went through my Saturn return here, became a parent here, feels like the hardest chapter of my life where certain things that were easier even 3 hours north on the coast of California for instance, are out of reach due to my location.

Thank you for this. I feel a need to dive deeper as I have been desiring to move since my kids have grown and are established in their lives. No lines are near my birthplace and where I've lived my entire life in the Pacific Northwest. The only line of any significance to my chart is my Venus MC which crosses very near Bali where I spent my 2nd Saturn return (in 9th, in Aquarius) and committed to my spiritual journey! Natal Venus return at end of Libra Season. I want to live somewhere I LOVE, can express LOVE and feel LOVED in return. (Definitely felt that in Bali as I embraced Hinduism and the beautiful Balinese people)

In 2020 i moved because my intuition was pulling me to the pnw i didnt know where but I just knew I couldn't deny it ended up getting into astrology deeply while there and found I was on my pluto chiron line I had also met a women who told me I was a healer and she mentored me with reiki in exchange for working at her shop it was magical and painful all at the same time did so much healing and I truely feel I went there to let the old me die as I healed deep wounds... omg edited to add as im listeing to more you guys mention meeting people with that planet on their ac so i went and checked her chart she has pluto conjunct her rising 😂

I did that and ended up doing a lot of personal development/trauma recovery work. It was educational but also hard bc there were events that triggered the need for it.

First time to check out this, and I was born nearly exactly on Neptune/ Ic line, lived first 19 years 40km east from it before moving abot 100km from Saturn/Asc and living there about 20 years. Then I felt the energy of that region was done, and now live 90km west from N/Ic with Pluto Ic/node Asc & Mars Asc/ node mc, and mercury, venus& jupiter stuff going on and Im waymore satisfied and easy going. That Saturn era was internally hard, but it layed grounds for this self reliance and satisfaction. Great technique. Also probably have activated loads of stuff by having global correspondance from young age.

I was called to look at the cartography of birthchart and moves since. Particularly of interest were two favourite holiday destinations, Byron Bay and Fraser Island in Australia where I felt truly at home, especially when I went alone, I would meet people etc., I have Venus ic line there!
I also had a truly mystical deja vu holiday in Ubud, Bali, so so good, where I have a sun/ic line.
I also checked my current home of 10 yrs with nth node connection!
I'm so grateful to you both for assisting all of us to gain self knowledge about past and events and for future planning. I also like both your optimism and caution.....there are always going to be opportunities and challenges! 💜💜

Cyclocartography makes sense if you think about it... The right/wrong person, the time and the place all being intricate factors/catalysts in major events, and their outcomes.

I actually moved close to my Saturn line for my Saturn return and it was rough, but it was a master class in adulting. I loved hearing about paranas - puts my Jupiter DC line into perspective. I've been planning a trip to Kyoto to experience this line firsthand (it goes straight through Osaka and Kyoto) but the parans there are sth to consider before I plan anything.
I was born on uranus neptune line on sydney. Both conjunct my ascendant, have changed houses every few years since i was 6 yo and discovered major family secrets in my adult years that changed my life.

I've lived in an area for 23 years that puts my Saturn right on the ascendant. I am someone who has never reacted that badly to Saturn, it is in Capricorn in the 8th house and then Jupiter is in the Saturn ruled 9th house in Aquarius, so that may be part of it, getting a positivity boost from Jupiter's stromg connection to Saturn. I always was very deprived of a love life early in life, I never had a girlfriend ever though I wanted one. But in this place I got very happily married to a very Saturnian lady, her Saturn is conjunct the Moon in Capricorn in her 6th house. Its a very stable and peaceful marriage we will never break up also Saturn positive side stuff. We are both going through our Saturn Mahadasha from Vedic astrology as well and actually these positions for planets I give you are Vedic/Jyotish positions. I think western astrology is offbase as far as the signs go, my Vedic planetary positions and angles describe me to a tee, I always was really puzzled by much Western aspect of my chart, has me as Cancer rising, there is no way, I am Gemini rising to a tee puttting my Taurus moon in the twelfth house which is very much me, very connected to unconcious and dreams and rather isolated, not 11th house moon, all about clubs and groups and socities, cannot stand that stuff!

I currently live on my Saturn DC line and boy oh boy does it suck! There is a major block in relationships for me. Even friendships are hard to acquire and maintain here. On the flipside, my NN ASC, Venus ASC, Moon IC, Chiron MC and Uranus IC lines all run through India. Clearly I have karma and a soul mission related to that country.

I was born by my Neptune line which is my 4th house. The astro location humor, I could make a long list. 2 favorite songs are Lowlife by Front Line Assembly and Ænima from Tool. Los Angeles is directly on my 12th Leo sun line. I always laugh when I see that. I also canceled a potential vacation that’s on my Pluto line due to it being near a war that just started. “I’ll visit, but I’m not going East..” definitely not going to now. I’ve never tried a complete “relocation”, sounds interesting.

I feel like it’s so tricky especially as a parent I look at mine my husband and my children . This one place I really like it’s good for every but my oldest son putting him with Saturn on the IC ( although he has Jupiter natal on the IC and Saturn is not the greater malefic I still don’t want to have him be unhappy in anyway 😢. I heard that’s if it’s not directly on the angle that it’s less impactful . Any thoughts on this ?
Amazing,,, I will say she speaks about it as if it was channeled information like human design...but technically this form of astrocartography is astroNOMICAL alignments. In addition, they are speaking of the placements being just on the AC, IC, DS, and MC.....Those are the main points yes but one also has aspect lines too!

Perhaps I missed if this was discussed during, but say you have difficult planetary placements in the 12th house, would moving to another location where these go to the 11th or 1st house (even outside of landing on a positive line) be a way to resolve their issues?
