+TMIDD TRAVEL I really love my sigma lenses. I noticed they were too sharp for my 6d but using it on the R it’s just amazing. And yes OCF is really beautiful if u know how to use it and you’re willing to spend the time setting up
Hahaha I know. Generally when the modifier is small and the wind direction comes from behind, it will hardly fall... it’s when the front of the modifier is against the wind direction that it’s extremely difficult to stay up. Plus the light stand had a very wide base.. but yes I mostly have someone holding lights when I’m outdoors...
@@Phloshop Not here. Modifiers fall in those windy conditions here all the time, especially with those swizzle stick light stands. I was cringing, too lol.
+Keh Olaleye sure.. uhm in this video I showed how I set my white balance for shoots. ( ruclips.net/video/8TJhLYts5bc/видео.html ) I use autofocus nowadays, especially when I’m using my EOS r
One thing that seems to be insignificant but vital is the positioning of the light (softbox). Most presenters don't mention it. I see the softbox here, most times facing across the model. Why that direction? why not the center facing the model and angled? why these choices?
+bassey edoho I do mention how I position my soft boxes in my videos. This ruclips.net/video/5ulDXLNiPOg/видео.html video for example I spoke about it and in some others as well. I’ll be sure to be talking about them more often.
My biggest hope is to see you in my life and i believe your next workshop i wish i will get some money so that I will be there thank you for the what you are doing for me and God bless you for that
@@Phloshop I shoot manual in everything. Even my flash is set to manual. I guess the barrel of my 70-200mm + the adapter is too long so this could be the cause o this problem. Not sure..
+eza mabona haha weird right?! I mostly have an assistant holding the light.. but like I said earlier this softbox is relatively small and it was along the wind direction plus the stand has a very wide base.
Thank you so much for your sharing your knowledge. I absolutely Loved this video and see your work. I can’t wait to watch more of them ! Thank you again.
It was good to see that an experienced pro has to make many adjustments during a shoot; that one does not show up knowing all camera and light settings on location. It would be good to know flash power, distance, and angle as well. Too bad that data is not automatically recorded!
Thanks a lot! And yes what I show in my behind the scenes videos is what happens everyday on my sets. I like to take test shots but I also know there are people who can immediately guess camera settings but I’m not one of them. I also know there are people who use light meters etc but I’ve never owned one. I think I’ll find a way to add diagrams with lighting distance and ratios. I noticed this is the second time you’re asking lol. It will be extra work but I’m definitely going to find ways to include it
Phloshop Thanks. There’s the xmp file data generated by Camera Raw, and EXIF data by Preview on the Mac. Just wish more light data than “Flash…yes” transferred over. My light meter helps, but not as much as trial & error. Best of luck.
Thank you for showing the whole process, learned alot !
keep going man !
+Photoshop Hustler thanks a lot man! I appreciate the feedback! Glad you found it helpful!

I Have watched most of your videos in my opinion you thrive on indoor shoots
Cant got wrong with ocf and a sigma lens at 1.4. Thats my goto combination on my channel now, ocf and sigma 35mm 1.4 for the win! Nice video

You’re welcome. Thank you very much too!
Hello?
Which picture style used in this outdoor portraits sir?
I need my man to hold that light stand while you're shooting. I was cringing the whole time! I've been through that nightmare before! Awesome images!

Already Bro! Keep shining!
I felt that to haha. My light almost ended up in some pretty bad situations before as well with my shoots lol

Hello! These settings (1/2500, F1.4, ISO 100) with HSS are also valid if we want to freeze the image of a subject that moves in the frame ?
Yes it is. The faster the shutter speed the quicker the freeze!
Great video. Can you please tell me what mode you shoot in. Manual? Av?
Thanks a lot!
i always shoot in manual mode
Love your work
Thank you so much
Have you any plans of coming to Chandler, Az?
Enjoyed your photo editing.

Did you turn off exposure sim on the Camera? How does that work with the EOS R?
You have the option to.. but I dont.. There's a system to my madness lol

Great use of flash! Not too overpowering like some
+christian garrido that’s what I like to do. I really love it when it’s almost unnoticed. Thanks for your feedback. I appreciate it
Do a retouch video pls... I have learnt something
He has
I am just wondering why my off camera flash is not exposing the image while shooting hss. My camera sync speed is set to auto for all sync settings.
+Mr K-verity try shooting in manual mode..

Thanks boss
No problem
ND Filters?
No ND filters. I’ve never used them.. but I’m tempted to try them these days
Lovely
Thanks 😊
Why the light placement at that angle?
I think I mentioned that I do that so it’s soft and flattering. I also don’t want any hotspots from the light being directly aimed at her
The ambient and flash exposure was on point. Your work is impeccable and model is gorgeous. Vogue material
Thank you very much!! I appreciate it 🙏🏾🙏🏾
wait, you don't use sand bags?
