- This is the late Dan O Hara or better known to his friends as Dano from Blacklion when i first meet Dano was when I worked for Philomena Begley and the Ramblin Men he was a great guy a great singer and guitar player and he became a good friend even after I quit Dano your missed by the music world I realy loved Dano singing this song. Henry Mc Mahon then wrote as song in his memorie and was recorded by Declan Nerney titled My hero lies in Cookstown RIP
