I have a 2008 Martin D-28 Marquis (with K&K Pure Western Mini) and a Fishman Loudbox Artist Amplifier. I was looking for as close to a natural acoustic sound as I could get and just couldn't get that to happen. I purchased the Zoom A3 pre amp and it sounded perfect. I'm very happy. I don't go in for frills, I just wanted the natural sound, yet amplified. Got it!
Amigo. Obrigado por postar um vídeo tão bom como esse. Bora vc não descreva muito, mas os timbres estão perfeitos. Uma pergunta boba. Essa pedaleira tem loop?
You make a pretty compelling case for this thing. I have the Aura 16, HOF reverb, chorus, TU3 tuner, PZ pre, etc. and, all things being equal, would like to have it in one place.
to all you guys: the so called modeling of differnet guitars is not a modeling !!The A 3 just wants to know what kind of guitar you plug in ! I can imagine millions of guitar players waiting for the 12 string sound to happen , ha ha ..... that Resonator sound that you hearing are the effects: silky chorus and slap back reverb. chose the modelclosest to your guitar you playing, thats it. cheers
Just bought Zoom A3 this morning, try it this afternoon and not working. Haha made in china. Are you sure it can simulate other brand and model acoustic guitar sound??? I was told that it can't. How you manage to do it????
I bought A3 yesterday. I can select guitar body type, but I can't select model type. I can't change home screen as is presented in manual on page 8 where I could select model type. It is still on screen 3. Do you know how can I change screen number?
I wouldn't recommend the A3 to anyone. Sure, its pretty handy and it has some nice effects. But for the acoustic body type modeling, I was disappointed. I've been using Fishman's Aura Acoustic D.I. and sometimes the Aura 16, in my live set for about 3 years and they're so realistic. I've tried using the Zoom A3 because of the built-in reverb, but I didn't like the sound that came out of that thing.

That resonator was freaking awesome. I love the slide sound you got out of that!

You may ask Is the A3 a missed opportunity for acoustic guitarists, well all I can say it has added so much to my acoustic set, I love it.

It looks suspiciously like a Takamine P3MC--a fairly new model (and just f***ing great--I bought one last month).
Bought the A3 yesterday. I can select body type and model type... but cant get off the model type screen HELP.
does the 12strng effect act like a real one? I mean does the high E and B have octaves above them or is it like a real one where they are doubled???
