Bennie & The Jets (HQ STUDIO ver)

- A spliced together version of Elton John's famous Bennie And The Jets. This version however, does not have the inserted applause and audience cheer that is present in most other versions.
I claim nothing from this song, all rights go to their respective owners.
Just a fun little side project :D - Видеоклипы
Thank God! Why the hell is this so hard to find!?!?
I guess people miss the crowds, personally, i think it sounds more intimate. Although i also believe the instrumentation needs some real tuning up.
The studio cut? A decent quality version? I have no idea but I was just thinking the same thing... like damn!
@@danielgreen6302It IS a very dry recording but that leaves more up to what you want to do to it lol
Exactly 👍. Unless it’s Peter Frampton
I love this version way better, I wish they would have just done this one. It sounds much better, if I wanted to hear a concert I would go to one
the fuck you mean it sounds like shit
@@yosefutrera1046 It's his opinion

very interesting without the live audience vibration, still a hell of a song, either version you gotta sing good.
My absolute guinness I sure took my time finding this.
This studio version without the applause was actually sung by Elton John on Soul Train, but he changes his voice and tunes with the Soul Train appearance.
This version of the song can be really weird tho because I'll hear Elton's voice on certain speakers for example , my phone , my TV but my stereo speakers I don't hear him at all and then my Bluetooth speaker I can hear him quietly but I still love it
It's because the weird encoding of the vocal's audio. The @op of the vocal played a trick to make it sound more stereo-y (inverting the audio signal between the left and right channel, effectively a "mirror image" that accounts for that weird grating sensation it creates). When you play it in Mono, the left and right VOCAL audio cancel each other out.
Goshlik Krudbahr that is really a good point
Its called being stoned man!!!!!
@@goshlikkrudbahr5109 damn, you know your stuff
Yeah that's an interesting contrast between a tightly mixed instrumental and a ratty bandpass on the vocal lol
I love you Elton John
I can't hear Elton's voice without earphones, wtf?
Same wtf
Crazy. I wonder how this was done.
That’s really weird it does the same for me
Something to do with the phase relationship between the layered vocal tracks, when played through headphones they will split to either headphone, but when you play it out of one speaker in mono, the competing out-of-phase waveforms cancel each other out and create silence. How that managed to happen though, I have no clue.
Its nice and all but like where's the famous little piano riff at? 2:22
Manich Mayhem I think it was an electric piano added in separately.
The piano bridge and the farfisa organ were added post-production.
I love how when you "monofy" it, the vocal over disappears. Kinda cool. Is it possible to get it without the vocal? To tell you the truth, something about the strange out-of-phase nature makes it quite grating. I also like the piano only
Lol used to subtract right from left to nuke vocals... but yeah if they're mixed mono but 180 out, they'll cancel when mixed. I may have to try this on the big system.
Agree on the effect.. I hate the sensation. Used to get that with the whole mix if a speaker was wired out of phase. To me it is like it is trying to pull my head apart lol
Studio Version > Live Version (FOR ANY SONG)
TheTarrMan incorrect.
Generally, yes. However, there are some truly iconic performances that are as good or better than the studio version. Anything from Metallica's 1991 concert in Moscow, for example, though my absolute favorite from that performance is their "Enter Sandman". Queen's Live Aid performance is another great example of that, and there are others.
It was never live to begin with.
@@lapis591 Yeah I know, I just really hate people.
BBB BENNIE AND THE JETSSSSSSSSSSS MY IDOLE I LOVE YOU FOREVER
I’m 100% convinced this song was made when both Elton and his writer were both drugged out and/or wasted. This is one difficult song to memorize and even understand what it means. But so damn catchy
This is awesome!!! Thank you!
If this song is not going to be in guardians of galaxy 3 im going to be sad
I like it! If only Gus Dudgeon hadn't gotten his mitts all over the original... I might have to track down a Farfisa organ to overlay at the end--its absence is noticeable.
Ah yes, I may make an updated version with as much of the original as possible, just no clapping.
This is gold
A genius
I like this
Thank you. I don't like the audience sounds.
In general. Great song, I knew it thanks to JOKER leaked plot.
ChanderMonium what do you mean about the joker?
A Bdd Potential spoilers for the movie:
So the plot leaked and Joker dances down a staircase and this plays in the background
Interesting
Guess yalll we’re wrong
@@toabbd7446 I know I wish it played in that scene tho
Very nice
Idk why they ever added the fake audience noise. This is WAYYYY better imo
Wow
Love love love🙏❤️🙏❤️
How did you get the isolated tracks?
this song sounds sad
Hey goose just wondering where you found the diff audio parts for this? is that a separate vocal track you laid ontop ? can you hook me up?
yeah I got the vocals and different tracks all separately, here's the vocals "ruclips.net/video/1D2x-hvCUfg/видео.html"
@@goose.r.s My man! Thanks!
@@alucardha9659 np
thank you
GodOfNoobs np, I was just fed up with the inserted clapping in the "studio version"
How did u get this
Its awesome
i made it myself, from the extracted vocals and instrumentals
Tommy Arselum oh yeah yeah, I did not expect to see you here
Can anyone answer on why it glitches out when you play it on a speaker?
It's 2 different tracks that are playing at once and your speaker is only playing 1 track (basically you need headphones or something with 2 speakers)
@@Neriedoodle oh ok weird
meet the grahams
I LOVE U
I can't hear the eords!
I'm not a big fan of his music, but this song/piano melody is exceptional. Thank you. Why didn't they release a studio version?! (Rhetorical?!) This song could lend itself to so many genres: a latin/funk rhthym would work so well.
That was always the studio version.
You have the instrumental?
There's any link to download it, but with voice audable in speakers?
Aloha bobby and rose.....
I used to think my life was a tragedy
Lmao same
but now I realize it's a comedy
@@goose.r.s It's a quote from the movie Joker
This song had to be in the stair dance scene but got replaced
Any update on adding the organ?
I'll see if I can do it over the weekend
@@goose.r.s Alright cool mate!
Idk why but sometimes I watch this video and Elton’s singing but other times he’s not
r u blazed
Same
vocal "colour" is little bit disturbing
GOOSETAVO!!!!!
I like the live one better... sounds like a dollar store microphone was used...
It was never live.
ôof
the voice is gone
How tho😂
The voice is gone because you only have 1 speaker playing the song ok you need 2
Ya-yey to put this in simple terms, you need headphones
It’s aidon ferry from a different account but thank you
"the fatty calf" and "a mole hair suit" just a heads up
Oh my bad
mohair suit.
Kangaroo Shorts fatty calf is right but it is mohair suit
