This was really fun to watch. I find myself on the stage of defining “who I want to be” in front of the camera. Once I can clearly answer that, I’ll be able to say Niche better have my money.
For smaller creators it is really hard to grow because of "yourself" or "your persona". Most of the people will subscribe/follow your content based on the content you make and then beginn to like you or sympathy with you. Thats what I think at least and it may be wrong, but thats what I think to notice in my peer group.
Good point. But I think the focus on "growth" is more of a problem in the beginning. Feedback is super important because with it comes motivation. But at the beginning you need discipline. And because willpower is a limited resource, discipline shouldn't mean that we have to keep forcing ourselves _willingly_ to make new content, but just _want_ to do it. In other words, an intrinsic interest rather than dependence on external factors such as growth. That comes automatically when you do your thing consistently and with joy - but after 30, 40, 50 videos, maybe more. Until then, as I suggested, do it for "the audience of one" ;-) By the way: On this channel I think you are "the one" for me so far 😄 - as the returning viewer and commentator that you are. 🙌 Keep it up!
