where did you get yours, was it 6 pin, 9 pin? were you pre lci led or xenon ? I Just ordered a set of 9 pin for my pre lci led. The seller said it is plug and play? did you have to code yours too? cheers
Awesome! I didn’t have a problem with those luckily, only the headlight bolt that was stuck on lol
That front end is def. all tied in with the Icon lights. Looks fuego! Absolutely worth a labor intensive day.

So all that was needed was the modules/ballasts it came with and some coding nothing else? I’m curious because theres a seller on ebay saying there’s an additional harness needed for pre lci adaptive. My M4 F83 lights don’t say Adaptive on them. Just wanna be sure before i drop over $2500 that that lights are a direct replacement for my pre lci’s
You’ll be able to tell if you have adaptive LED’s if you have 3 bars on the side of your headlights. They might not say adaptive but the difference between led and xenons are night and day. Dm me on ig if you still have questions! Yeah plug and play with just coding

Did you just swap over the ballasts and etc from the old headlight or did it come with new stuff?
It came with new modules and ballasts. I did not transfer anything from my pre ikon headlights

Plugs stay in secure, and I actually didn’t know if mine were LHD when I bought them, but I lucked out lol. Not sure where to check

@@F80Ho it sucks because since they are used on 4 series as well you would expect them to be cheaper and the new generation is already out, in Canadian dollars it's still a lot of money.

Hi bro, I want to upgrade my headlights, so you have to change the wires too?
If you have adaptive leds already, it’s just plug and play and coding. If you have xenon’s you need the modules plus coding
I wanna go from xenons to these anything really needed or is it a simple plug and play along with the crazy coding needed.
Since you have xenon's you will need the extra wire harness's

Hey man, they’re called icon headlights (oem bmw) - hard to find but sometimes people are selling them used on the Facebook f8x/Bimmer pages. You can also find em on eBay but be cautious of some of them

@@F80Ho i just did mine. Bought it from the same guy that hooked u up with them lol. I cant fit the damn thing right. The corner doesnt allign well. Did you have an issue like that?
@@arthurjames9450 yeah I had an alignment issue as well, I had to adjust the two inner bolts to move the headlight up, had a big hood gap. Took me forever to figure out, but leave the 10mm bolt and bumper bolt loose and try to adjust it with the two back bolts. Congrats tho! Lol it’ll be worth it in the end. DM me on Ig if you need more tips and tricks lol
@@F80Ho are you not supposed to tighten the bottom 2 bolts all the way? Is that how you adjust?
@@arthurjames9450 I left the top two bolts loose and adjusted the vertical height from the back

a shop would've charged $500+ after checking, and I have plenty of time to work on my car haha

@@typejlb f30’s come with completely different updated LCI’s, modules are different, coding may be possible but there isn’t a F30 with Ikon headlights
