Hey brother. Was wondering if u ever got a battery drain fault after installing these lights ? Cheers
Hey bro, love the content, just had a quick question for you regarding your civic si accident, as I'm dealing with a similar situation rn. My car was parked in front of our house and got hit-and-run. Damage similar to yours, but a bit worse. But, when speaking to my insurance agent they said that if I make a claim, it would not affect my premiums at all as it would be no fault and no affect to my rating. So, I am leaning towards just going through insurance, but I'm still a bit skeptical, hearing stories such as yours thinking about how insurance could maybe still screw me by increasing my premium when it comes to renewal. I'm wondering how come your agent said your premiums would go up even though you weren't in the car and it was also 100% not your fault. I'm located in Toronto, Canada, wondering if that makes a difference? Anyways, just wondering what your thoughts are, if you have any suggestions it would be much appreciated, thank you!
Nice bro, hows ur drls ? Both same brightness ? Mine one side was dimmer. Getting a new module from seller
They both seem good, Iv also noticed the drls are brighter in the off position than the parking position
Are you having draining issues with them? I have the same ones and they are draining my battery.
I also have oem pre lci adaptive headlights - which number pin connectors is correct to purchase for the new headlights? 6,8, or 9?
@@saint_iri not sure, I just told west coast euros what type of headlights I had and they sent out the correct ones & provided a coder
very informative!
Looks good. What did you end up doing to get the harness to reach the headlight?
Detached the harness from some mounting points, routed it under the air filter, cut back some of the tape to separate the headlight harness from the main harness then it fit with some slack
Hmm it doesn't look the same as the OEM, not trying to hate because I also have a pre lci and looking to upgrade.
@@rhenzlemuel09 the differences is the angle eyes aren’t as bright and the little orange drl on the corner but it’s 1/3 of the price so can’t complain
@@illest_evr Yeah that right, couldn't justify spending $3k on a headlight. The aftermarket headlights kinda looked silver to me compared to the OEM it looks a little blacked out.
How’s the light output compared to the stock xenon’s?
Pretty much the same, a bit more blueish on the new ones and I like it better tbh
Whats the name of those rimes
I’m pretty sure u didn’t, but I thought you had to get coding for the headlights or u don’t have to ?
Just had to code out adaptive headlights
Did you use bimmercode for that?@@illest_evr
I wonder if it could get modified to have yellow drl
Eh, I’m not a fan of yellow drl
What dashcam you use????
