      Pre washing fabric before you use it is always a good idea, no matter what you're doing with it, not only for the pre shrinking but also removing the sizing they add to the fabric, that will interfere with a lot of processes and products.

    I did the wallpaper hack about 25 years ago and it worked great. An easier way to apply it is dump your liquid starch into a bucket and stuff the fabric in getting all of it wet at once, then wring it out and put it on the wall. I used a wallpaper type plastic tool to pull the fabric straight, get any seams and extra liquid out. And it really does pull off that easy! You'll just need to wipe down the wall with a sponge when you rip it down to get the liquid starch off. --- Note: not all fabrics work. I'd stick to Cotton.

    I’ve seen this trick with fabric as wallpaper using liquid starch. There is an easier way to do it, by soaking the pre-washed fabric in a bucket half filled with the liquid fabric starch, remove the fabric from the container and wring out the excess liquid then apply it to the wall and use a squeegee to spread the fabric out on the wall removing any excess liquid. Allow to dry.

    That is absolutely amazing! I would have to have my freezer and refrigerator in the corner where the mirror is rather (close to the kitchen) because I couldn’t live with stuff hanging on the outside of the closet door. And, where was the bathroom? Off of the kitchen I assume? Update: OK, after having watched the video again, I see there is not enough space in that corner to get into the kitchen so I would have to have a futon instead if a full bed. 😁

    • @LaughCryDIY
      @LaughCryDIY  2 года назад +1

      Yep. It looks like a small closet right between the kitchen/bedroom.

    Love this. I would have got one of those wooden IKEA day beds with storage underneath for more floor space. And as I like the single life the bed area would be big enough for just me loo
