Liked the video. I've recently got myself a tiger 800xca which I love. I've still got my FJR1300 which I really don't want to part with but spend more miles on the tiger now.

I miss my sport tourer, CBR1100XX, but I don't miss its riding position. Love the FJR.

My wife is ready to move up from her first bike (ever) a BMW G310GS. It’s been a comfortable, easy to ride, lightweight starter bike. But to do longer trips with some mandatory highway slab riding, more power would make things better. The Tiger 800 is a bike I am considering for her. Not too heavy and seems pretty bulletproof. The number of different Tiger models, however, is confusing. I’m just starting my research. BTW, I like British bikes, too. I also have a Bonneville in the garage next to my BMW R1200GS.

The XRx Low might be a great model. I'm 5' 11" and can't put both feet down on my XC without lowering the seat. I put a Triumph OE low seat on it for my daughter to ride (30" inseam) and she touches toes. The XRx Low is almost 2" lower.

Thanks! That’s a help. Funny thing, my wife is also 5’11” and all legs. So I guess we need to do some test riding!

I ride an 800, I'm 5'11 and moderately fit male. The bike is heavy. With the tank at the front it handles completely different to a 310bmw. I'd suggest a 650gs or the Dakar. Expand the rear gear so it's got longer legs for the highway and put a better seat on it and it would be perfect.

434 lbs wet for a 800 cc vs the 2021 klr650cc wet thats 456 lb . Thats pretty impressive.

My daughter now has this 800 and I ride a 1200, and as much as I like it, I miss the more nimble and fun 800. But, don't tell my daughter that.

Sick dude. I’m debating buying the same bike.

Can't go wrong. If you're going used, find a documented well-serviced bike. If you scroll through the clips, you'll see where it was wrecked and brought back to life to travel 3500 miles through the Pacific Northwest. Thanks for posting.
