In this the second video after the channel's revival, I bring you impressive footage of this 1687whp 2JZ Nitrous MKIV Supra laying rubber from launch and all the way into 5th gear at the PR Half Mile.
The interesting fact about this particular car is, that except for the roll cage that is mandatory for these kind of speeds, the whole cabin is stock form, nothing has been removed for weight saving purposes!!!

If you drive a 1600hp Supra, it's not because you couldn't afford a super car. It's because you wanted to build one. If you ask someone with a bonkers built up jdm car if they want to trade it in for a modern super car, I'm fairly certain most people wouldn't lol. I personally would pick a specced out A80/R32/R34 over a Lambo any day.

It was at a standing half mile race .The car can actually go quite a bit faster, I heard the driver complaining about worn tires and that they were shooting for around 215mph before the gearbox failed.Thanks for watching and subscribing!

he changes gear and he has like less than half the power but then boost kicks in again and the magic happens.
I own a black supra. I'm currently rebuilding it from the ground up, I was toying with the idea of colour change and body mods... This cad has changed everything.

If I'm honest... some of the 800hp Supra's I've seen have goon 3x what that did, maybe its the weight but if it got 205MPH at the end of a 1/2 Mile then thats pretty slow for 1687hp... It should have been topped out by the time it reached the end

One of the speed shops over there needs to get a few Aussie 4.0L Barra motor turbo they are about 3-5 grand and can get up to 1770whp street drive able and there’s a drag car over there with 2500 hp Barra turbo should have a look at powercruise Queensland raceway look for a green fg ford Ute you won’t be disappointed

206mph is low with this amount of power.. You need to set this car up in USA and get bigger tiers on and boost by gear..
This car is capable of higher speeds and the driver/tuner knows it, the reason they couldnt go any faster was because of the tires.While on the dyno 2 days before the rear left blew up and they couldnt get a new pair on time so had to borrow used tires.On full boost the tires were simply not having it, the thing was like a mad bull after being poked in the ball sack. As I said in previous comments, this car should be in the 215-220mph range at least.

During the event there was another high HP MK IV Supra that was all stripped down and still this Black one was faster.Both could had gone quicker but had to retire due to gearbox problems.

I dont remember too many details but it is a single 86mm turbo setup.The white Supra you can see on the right side of the screen at 0:53 was built,tuned and raced by the same team and had pretty much the same setup/mods, the big difference between the two is, that the white one is completely stripped down for weight reduction, while this black one has stock interior apart from the mandatory roll cage, which makes the fact that it went over 200mph even more impressive.
