im trying to create a rectangle (box) with \ \ type of corners, not curved corners. I hope you understand what Im saying. How can I create it in photoshop, any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
I needed this tutorial exactly this moment as I'm working for a client to change the background from portrait photos while maintaining the shadows of the people on it. Thank you Jesus once again to make my work a lot faster!! 🙌🏻🙏🏻
I love how you explain like we're toddlers 😂😂😂. I have a question, which program do you use to make all the zoom-in and zoom-out and other arrows and boxes...?

great tutorial as fas the topic goes, but there is a technical mistake that light is coming from the windows so the shadows should be cast on the opposite side.
Bringing a shadow from a white or light background is okay, but what if that background is dark or grass? And if you need to transfer this to a dark or random background? I want to learn. With the utmost respect to you Greetings from Belgium
In that case, you probably would be better off painting it by hand but using the original as a reference. If it's too hard to mask then the result probably will not look as good.
To maintain the most photographic qualities of the shadow layer you should use the white point color picker on the shadow layer and click the non shadow area. Using a hue/color layer to correct color can lead to less dimensional shadows in some situations. *This process is also handy when the shadow layer is complex, it just takes additional finessing.
I remember the good old days, easy to follow along, now we've a million unnecessary transitions, sound effects, keeps popping back to the creator every five seconds, more like a video on premier/AE cuts than PS

Love the technique. I do wish for generative fill to become: “Remove and place headphones on solid white with light source 11 o’clock…”
Hopefully one day!
