The bend looks the same to me. The Yoshi pipe is just a bigger diameter. Havent had the time to switch jets out yet, but I think I need to try the 170 main out. sometimes it pops a lil on decel. Keep in mind Im not using the spark arrestor/silencer part
Looks and sounds great! I have a 2019 S and have the same rs2 sitting here in a box waiting for my JD jet kit. Did you jet yours already? If so what combo did you end up with? I plan on leaving my spark arrester installed so not sure which main I should start with. 3X3 already done. Great content man, appreciate it.
I'm at sea level so I did 25 pilot with 160 main. About 2.5 turns out on the extended fuel screw. Seems to run good. I will try the 170 main jet as the instructions suggest soon and see how that goes. I haven't been using the spark arrestor at all. Hopefully I hear back on how yours goes!
Im at sea level too. I installed my yoshi 2 years ago with the 25 pilot and the 170 main jet. I knew it was to rick i could smell it. Road it that way for about a year. When i pulled the spark plug to change it it was really black. I reinstalled the factory pilot jet and went to the 160 main jet. It runs so much better. Check your spark plug.
@@NateAsaurus on longer rides I use the spark arrester. Going 55 plus from more then 20 min without the spark arrester the noise becomes annoying. But most of the time I have I out when I'm in town.
Yes, youll get the full power out of mods that way. Your bike will run too lean without it which can cause overheating issues. Your exhaust also might make pops which is bad
Thanks for this, it sounds quieter that the RS3 which I like.
Best year color! I got the same one but with Empire Exhaust
Nice job on the video. Looks and sounds great
Thanks!
Is the bend of the header pipe different than the stock header pipe? Did you end up staying with the 160 main jet? Thanks!

@@kwood55981 Interesting stuff! I hadn't gone to 170 yet, maybe it's not needed after all. Did you use the spark arrestor in your Yosh?

@@kwood55981 Ok, that makes sense. I ask because I thought the arrestor may require leaner jetting compared to without
Question the rubber grommet piece you used to install the yoshi is it from the kit or OEM from the bike?
The one on the Yoshi is included in the Yoshi kit
do i absolutely need the jet kit for a crf 250f
