Well shot and edited Tarzan short. Love the build on both Du Toit brothers with Dewet having the right muscularity and long hair for Tarzan.. Loved the fight on beach where the evil bro got the better of Tarzan in a wrestling bout that nearly saw Tarzan drowned in the battle of alpha supremacy..Wish to see more of these please

I don't believe you ever had the chance to see him in the role. Casper had the the most believable portrayal I've ever seen. See the movie and then get back me.
Thank for doing this Dewet (and brothers). I´ll start with I did not like. I did not like the special effects on 18:00. Tarzan does not even try to avoid the bullets, and the evil guy misses his target every time. I like very much Dewet’s depiction of Tarzan, he has a very good balance of muscle and agility, he looks believable. The scenes of him moving through the rocks, sometimes jumping and sometimes moving like a snake or a panther are very well done. As I see it the main error of the Hollywood films these days is that heroes are depicted as invincible, and the writers don´t know how to manage the put the hero in danger, because that is what an action film is about, a heroic character facing perils so deathly that there is the chance that he might lose. We know Superman, Spiderman, Tarzan won´t lose, but the trick is to make the evil side so strong that it represents a real danger to the hero’s power, and that there is the chance of defeat. Otherwise, if the hero is almighty and unchallenged, why would I see the movie? You understood this perfectly (much better than in the last renditions of Hollywood Tarzans). That explains why this thug seems to be quite a dangerous fellow and he seems to possess many of the ape-man´s skills: speed, agility, physical strength. When the white guy (I call him slave-driver cause I´m not sure) finds him, the thug doesn´t even need to turn around, this says a lot about his senses. He even speaks first “So, you´ve found me.” He doesn´t even give the other man the chance to speak first. Even with a gun pointing at him he is so fast and agile that he manages to hurt the white man using his knife. And you can tell the white man is really aware of the peril he represents because he is pointing at the thug with a gun and still is wary about his moves. This is very well thought. Whoever wrote it really did a good job. From the beginning there are clues that the thug is (at least) equally as strong as the King of the Jungle. When Tarzan wakes up (the thug has already gone with the chest), he has no knife or any other tool at hand, so he is forced to break the chain using a piece of rock. But minutes ago, when the thug woke up he first uses the knife (Tarzan’s knife?) to open a link of the chain that secured him from his ankle, and when he realizes that the chest is also secured with a chain, he seems to get so mad he detaches it using only his bare hands. Even though Tarzan doesn´t seem quite impressed when this evil fellow is almost cuts in half with the machine gun (until he runs out of bullet), the good part is how this thug challenges to Tarzan in a mano-a-mano combat. The fight is excellent. Really good. The evil guy turns out to be a skilled fighter, so skilled that Tarzan must appeal to his wit -pretending to be drowned- in order to gain the advantage and knock him down. And the way Tarzan gets mad when the thug cuts him in a treacherous movement is awesome! He gets really mad and becomes an enraged beast. The barrage of punches is cool! The flashbacks of Jane back in the ship are very good too.
