Honestly, Luce sounds more like a Dark Reaper, "why go all the way over there when I can shoot them from here with my incredible accuracy." "What is they're in a building?" "Just blow that thing up...with my incredible accuracy."
i like the balance range of 45-55. i think certain factions should kind of be default at certain ranges like i think space marines should never be above 50 as the default faction. things like GSC will always be lower because of the high skill needed. you trying to get luce into 40k is like me trying to get my wife into dnd. she got so focused on "you can do anything" she ignored within the setting and rules. wanted a chainsaw hand in a fantasy setting. you forgot to tell her the aspect shrines are people dedicated to their specific way of war. a banshee doesnt have the same accuracy as a reaper
the big issue with 40k is GW has a fascination with constantly altering rules, changing power level, and changing datasheets... changing power level is meaningless unless the rules are accurate. Get the rules accurate and functioning, get the data sheets accurate and functioning, then sort power level... But GW being GW they only know how to GW, so patches will constantly be brought out... GW has no interest in getting any of it right, otherwise they wouldn't have anything to do!!
As has been said, I actually think perfect balance for them would be bad. Imbalance and constantly shifting rule sets sells model kits as one becomes stronger and one becomes weaker. So sometimes I think they tweak to encourage sales
@ true, nothing wrong with change... though I think there is sometimes a confusion between relative accurate representation of a unit on the battlefield and balance... using power level or points is where the balance comes into it. Not necessarily the rules for the unit. True representation of Space Marines would have a 2000 points list having 3 units and a dreadnought... but at the same time rocket propelled rapid fire cannons = AP 0... explosive rounds designed to cause craters in flesh and armour have no armour penetration! True balance is not possible, but then still being able to get rules as an accurate representation of the unit is possible, but it always feels like this never occurs lol
have I missed some gossip or beef? 9.41 'we are educating you...and we didn't charge for a course for it' is that friendly banter or has there been a fall out with Vanguard Tactics?

She is very much a dark reaper…
Yeah Liam, "shut the F up or get off air." Luce is great. Love it. Thanks.
How dare you side with her… 🤣

I try not to over complicate the descriptions for her… you’ve seen what I’m working with!
