You missed one:
Broadsidius Memius, whereby you deliberately sail broadside at close range to a BB in your narrow light cruiser for him to overpen you citadel, doing neglectable damage while you dakadaka his hitpoints down. B tier
These are moments I look for while playing CL.
I stumbled across this in my Colbert. Full broadsides from TWO BBs, and 15 overpens. Mega salt in chat by the BBs. Laughed so hard I sailed into island and got one shotted by a DD, which totally stole the Kraken. Forgot to upload it though, such a shame.
There are very few CLs that can pull this off
This lead to one of my favorite moments in Colombo, when a smolensk tried this and l one shoted him with sap
A friend calls this "broadside tanking". Haha
That triple Ise must give some WoWs veterans massive PTSD.

FFF- Tier: As a cruiser you follow your DD to the cap then suddenly turn tight behind an island 100% blocking all gun coverage of that cap. DD dies. Later you complain about DDs dying early and start squawking "I need inteligence data" repeatedly.

What tier would that fall into?
The #1 NA strat: no matter where you spawn: abandon the flank, form a green blob and pray that the enemy wins on points before you get boxed in and crossfired to oblivion.
Bowtanking: best done by Soviet ships where the enemy basically requires that every gun put on that problem until it is gone and a problem made exponentially worse by you activating Stage 2 of the bossfight when Chadmiral Kuznetsov comes in with that ability.
I really love the martincitopants inspired video. It’ll help fill the month long gap until the next factorio video.

Another possible A tier strategy: team consisting of a radar cruiser and close quarter ship. Use islands as cover to get close, use radar to spot enemy, crush them with close quarter ship when spotted. Been using this strategy with great results and high fun levels 😁

One more strategy... ALWAYS channel the Mick Gordon soundtrack. Let it carry you to places where shockingly violent shooty boat behaviors are known to live.

You were commenting about the triple division of the same ships and have fun. When the Kamikaze R was released, me and a couple of friends used to do that ourselves. It was so fun being in voice chat and saying do not turn to the left you have torpedoes coming down your side and literally the crew was spitting on the torpedo as it went by the ship. So yes at tier 5 that was unbelievably nasty division especially when that ship was first released

You forgot the Cowardicus Maximus. A DD spots another one in the cap and pops smoke and stays inside it. Hoping the enemy DD will just "go away". And Attention Seeker. A torpedo DD open firing at an enemy ship forcing them to turn into the torpedo spread that would've otherwise missed.
Actually its a good way to set them on fire and then torp causing flooding while their repair party is on CD or a other way around with fire after floosing

also one of my favourite strats is as follows...take hakuryuu with squadron consumable mod, take torpedo plane, fly around the enemy team and go for their cv, when his fighters approch you pop heal and become invincible, do multiple flybys and make their cv regret his existance.

I recently rewatched Season 1 of Black Sails. The brawler division gave me flashbacks of the Spanish Galleon the pirates fought in the final episode… you can only watch from the helm as hopelessness kicks in.
Lately I've been fond of the DD edge rush. Take a stealthy and reasonably quick torpedo focused DD and sneak around the edge of the map behind the enemy, then sow chaos in their formation from behind. Sometimes they'll forget what they were doing and come try to get you, letting you lead them on a merry chase across the map while your team (hopefully) takes advantage of the chaos and siezes the objective. Can't call it anything higher than C tier though, since its highly situational. You have to spawn near an edge, not in the middle, and it doesn't work if there is a carrier or too much radar on the other team. Oh, and it doesn't work on several of the maps.
My favorite Strategy is still 899 Div and FRD + Balao + Petro have fun trying to dodge the countless homing + non homing torps let alone the FDR that comes and cross drops then Petro slapping you as your turn broadside and rinse repeat.
great video. very well thought out descriptions of the tactics. and excellent soundtrack for that Schlieffen-Napoli-GKF sweeping run at the end. now I have only one question left: where can I buy the keyboard with that super big W-key? :D

PS You forgot to mention 1) the best DD Minotaur and 2) the Seal-clubbers Giulio x2 + Kamikaze x1
Unsurprisingly you left out a couple DD strats that I favor:
Torpedo Flanker: I use an asashio for this, but there are many other DDs just as good. You bust ass to get somewhere the enemy doesn't expect someone to be at yet, then wreck them from stealth. This is high-risk high-reward. Especially effective against randos and PUGS that are fairly inexperienced, as they'll often not notice their allies getting cacked. (I'd rank this as B tier, but tons of fun.)
Chaos/plan wrecker: This is where you take a fast DD and go wherever you're most needed to disrupt the enemy team. Go flank the radar boat so it can be sunk. Or hunt down the scout DDs. Randomly smoke up an ally to give them a respite. . . whatever you can do to most disrupt the enemy team. (Also works QUITE well with the Constallation, oddly enough.)

Sea Lord, you've done well with this video as I love the game but I suck big time so I was damn pleased you've used your teaching skills, using specific examples on why or why not and how that specific movement might help or why it fails to move the team to victory. I strongly encourage you to consider incorporating more detailed strategies for better game play as I've got the tools, per your previous recommendations on various ships to get but honestly...still struggle just to stay alive longer than 10 minutes so stuff like this video IS most appreciated for us credit card potato sort of people.

A tier: As a CV/BB main. Using attack aircraft to spot dds that are not with the rest of the main force. Usually it's to late for them to deploy smokes when you have bloodthirsty crusiers lurking around. You keep flying in circles around them until they are destroyed.

Where DD goes into the cap at the beginning of the match, sets a smoke screen in the cap, sits in it broadside and eats torps.
I thought that World of Warships did not had prominent content creators as all of them seemed just...not professional. However, your videos are truly good and entertaining to watch. Though, you could just rename your A tier to: "I have friends who like to play World of Warship a lot" tier.
I like a simple game with my Halland... planes shredder... turn off AA, stay in the path of enemy planes... turn on just before being detected... pops up all AA consumable... looking at the enemy player panicking and being unable to drop on you... go back undetected and move away

I actually thought this would a desperate revival of Flambass and IChase's training video's of 2019. But as hoped you've realized the futility of this and did a smack bang job of making a great entertaining contribution. We laugh, cause else we would cry :P
If you believe some of Flamu's in-battle commentary on his twitch streams (I so love his dry, sarcastic humor), the playerbase is largely untrainable, because you need a brain to be able to learn things. But apparently if you replace many of the players with monkeys, who randomly paw at the keyboard and fumble around with the mouse, you will get better results :D

This guy follows you around and waits, then only shoots when you knock the enemy down to 10% of his health remaining, thus scoring the kill ribbon for himself.
This guy will also just sit there and watch until you are sunk and only then opens fire.

If Island Waifu is the C-tier strategy for a heavy CL then I have a similar one.
Papercuts of Death strategy - take a fast firing CL (Mino or similar), find target at 10+km and pick out mid height island closer to you than them. Fire over island until sky is full of shells raining death on them.
But there is a D tier version too - Guarding the Pass - take any boat, find mid height island to park near and wait for a target, but they may never come...

One point that many players miss, is that a DD should not ALWAYS run straight to the cap. In many cases that is certain death. Spot, torp, asses...cap later and when optimal.

Works best with a low-detection DD, such as Haida, in standard mode battles. Combines Carrier hunt with cap contesting: you’re multitasking to both cause chaos on the enemy team by contesting their cap while also spotting any enemy within visual range, along with killing their CV if given an opportunity. If you spot a DD rushing to their cap, get to spotting range and delete them with numerous hard-hitting gun and torpedo salvos. If done well, your team will praise you. If done poorly, you will be shidded on in chat. A tier.
I think you can add the Shinobi/Ninja to about B or A tier: take a cruiser with good concealment and a lot of firepower aka ZAO; sneak into the side of the enemy fleet; delete everything smaller than a Stalingrad with a single well aimed AP/Torpedo salvo and go dark again... Fun factor: S Tier although not particularly usefull for your team
As a torpboat DD like yugumo or shima.
- Get 8km range torp.
- spot the gunboat DD before he does.
- look where his guns are.
- shot torps at the opposite side of his guns.
- let him spot you.
- let him turn in your torps for trying to shot you with all his guns.
hmmm, I may need to rethink some of my gameplay. Great music for the final battle.
