  • Here is how you can customise WaniKani on your iPad, to study better!
I found this cool video from “Alivia” on how to customise WaniKani on your browser / computer. However, I use WaniKani on my iPad!
I really don’t have a clue about what a userscript actually is, and I couldn’t find noob appropriate instructions on how to make this work on an ipad.

(02:10) Step 1: Apps you need to make customisation work
(02:24) Step 2: Enable userscripts app
(03:15) Step 3: Install WaniKani Open Framework (the "master userscript" haha)

Hey there! Can I use wanikani and practice new kanji for free without a subscription? The price is too high in my country's currency.

As far as I know, the first three levels are free. After that, there is a fee. I also hear they run deals around the holidays so it may be cheaper really soon.@@srijaarun1945

My favorite script by far is WK Auto Commit. The moment you type the correct answer it moves onto the next question automatically. By default you have to hit 2 enters. Really speeds up reviews and lets you stay in a flow.

Yes! I use that one too, but sparingly, usually when I’m quite confident in my reviews.. otherwise I keep guessing the answer when it doesn’t auto commit. Do you press enter even if you realise it might be a wrong answer?

@@japaninme If I get it wrong I do hit enter yes. That way it works the same just faster. You did remind me though that I used to sometimes get one wrong because I put meaning when they asked reading or vice versa. In those cases I don't hit enter and appreciate not being marked wrong for silly mixups.
