  • Description:
In this video we will cover fluid flow inside a pipe and by applying wall temperature and wall heat flux we will cover the extracting temperature and velocity profile plotting and exporting using ANSYS Fluent. We will compare constant temperature and constant wall flux temperature profiles.
    - Geometry creation using design modeler
    - Meshing
    - Transient analysis modeling in ANSYS Fluent
    - Exporting and plotting the temperature and velocity profile
will be covered in this tutorial.

Hello, how could you get these much points on the graph, whereas I can see only 12 points and my graph is not smooth due to that. Can you plz guide me how to make it smooth

Thank you. How can we then calculate the average Nusselt number or Heat transfer coefficient for such a problem, from CFD results?

Calculating heat transfer coefficient is very tricky in Fluent. You should be very careful about the reference temperature you consider and the result you are going to compare you results to. Fluent has different methods of calculating surface heat transfer coefficient in the report section.

Dear Sir. can you make another video about pipe contact with a flat plate, and transfer the heat from the plate to pipe that has fluid.
    Thanks

Dear Sir, I have one question about the in inlet and outlet boundary conditions. The molten salt enter a pipe with 5m lenght and 20mm diameter and 500k . The pipe is made of stainless steel. The heat flux is 800,000kW/m2. So how much should be the inlet flow rate up to we receive the outlet tempereture 800K. It will be highly appreciated when you guide e the boundary conditions in inlet and outlet in such a case. Thank you.
