True, mellow and upbeat. Good memories from my younger days
This is what I was listening to when all my friends were listening to hair metal. I win.
Everything with this song is so great. The music of course but also the clothes, everything.
I just love watching the guitar players dancing lol
Can we all just take a moment to appreciate the fact that these guys, along with The Specials are the best dressed musicians in history. Mod's and Rude Boys are the sh!t.
Was a mod and a suedehead - bass and guitar were in the beat / you knew that. 😎
Both guitarists were members of British Ska band The Beat.
Teach your Son these moves when he is big enough! 😂 Your boy is going to be introduced to some great music 👍❤😂
I was 25 when I first heard Good Thing and She Drives Me Crazy by the FYC ... Johnny soon became my favorite !! these cool young men were in several movies and tv shows because they have such a marketable cool look and sound - a mixture of jazz and pop and insane talent
Great dancing, love the vibe!
Fine Young Cannibals are a British pop/new wave band, founded in 1984 in Birmingham. Their name is inspired by the title of Michael Anderson's film All the Fine Young Cannibals, starring Robert Wagner and Natalie Wood. SMACK MERCIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
This whole album is 🔥
oh yes.........
FYC rocks. Their albums were very good and are worth listening to beyond their big AM radio hits.
Nailed the dance
It's the drum beat that makes it impossible not to dance to this!
Amooooooo 😍 essa banda genial 🎉❤❤❤
Classic tune from my youth.
Everytime I hear this song it just reminds me of visiting my cousin in England when I was 10 years old and walking the streets of North London.
I think it’s about runnaways… sung from a parent’s perspective and pleading for their son , Jonny, to come home
Yes, but a little deeper than that... It from a father that gets drunk all the time
Good moves, Brad. Hope all is well with you and yours. Stoked you gave this a listen, these guys could rock. Suggestion: Roberta Flack turns 87 Feb 10, do a reaction to Tryin Times or Balled for all the Sad Young Men from her first album First TRake. You won't be disappointed.
Welcome to England in the 1980's. I remember walking past Roland and his entourage on Marylebone Road in London in 1987/8 and thinking "hey that's what's his name" Cool.
Along with Talk Talk; one of the most underrated bands of the 80s.
A song and video you can watch 25 times in a row every time. Early MTV to the bone.
Upon a second viewing, definitely one of Brad's superior interpretive dance routines ...
Love your dancing 🕺 you got so much Into it love it ❤ xx
Good thing is also a great tune by these 👍🏻
Hello Brad!! Greetings from Canada!! Great band! Check out the cover of Suspicious Minds!! Crazy legs guitarists and a great lead singer!!
Interesting composition. Love the regular switch-ups in the melody, and the uptempo beat in the chorus contrasts intriguingly with the melody in a minor key to give an unusual vibe ... nice ...
Somebody's got some moves
Holloway Roads very own Roland Gift !
You should do their cover of Suspicious Minds .
Love love love these guys
as per se. gt review. hit the spot as always. bravo
This is one of my favorite songs that everyone I know hates.
Bassist David Steele was a former member of UK band The Beat.
You got the dance right!
14 year old me at the ice rink acting cool and skating fast to Fine Young Cannibals 😂
🕺💃
I like your shoes and your studio / room
😂😂😂
BRAVOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Hilarious!
Animated Brad got kids now......get to stepppin to pay those bills....brilliant
the guitar and bass player were in The Beat, great UK Ska band fyi
Tuuune!
It is definitely a toe-tapper
The cure “ close to me” next😊
Lol, pretty good interpretation
Wasabi 😂
Next one is.. I'm not the man i used to be.
Da shit
Please react to the song Blue.
This song proves to me that FYC were a much better ska band than a pop band. “She Drives Me Crazy” is fucking terrible, in my opinion, but this song is great. And even though “Good Thing” was better than “SDMC,” this song totally puts it to shame.
Ah yes, FYC are definitely part of quintessential 80's music.
Jonnie was gay..his father dudnt approve..he ean away and his parents are saying jonnie..we are sorry..COME HOME
