Thanks for the video. I understand a genuine Cummins thermostat is a good way to go for reliability and flow area but the price was astronomical 122 CAD, so depending on your budget… also my coolant is orange/red in my 2006. Any idea if something changed between our model years?
channel locks work good for the hose clamp aswell if you don't have the special tool

Maybe back flush the coolant system.
There's no reason to remove the radiator hose.
