The season they rent thro. Jerry losing everything except rod as a client and rod trying to establish himself as a good wr and playing for that big contract to finally both get what they wanted at the end
This scene definitely got me in tears and I'm a dude! Dudes cry and it's nothing to be ashamed of. This scene and the "you had me at hello" scene definitely got to me.
The best line in the movie: " I hate my life. No, wait. I hate the way I live my life." It puts things in perspective: it's not your life, but what you're doing with it that tripping you up. Better than "Show me the money" or "You complete me."
I remember seeing this at theaters when it came out, it seemed so new and up to the times, now it looks so old school. This is great time capsule movie though to how things were in the mid-90s.
So many moments in this movie. Truly. From the beginning when Cruise is walking out of the office, I'm not gonna FREAK OUT!!! To his manager / mentor's advice to the lovely relationship with his player and of course his woman.
So Rod Tidwell suddenly got all this attention finally just because he jumped up and acted crazy after getting injured? Guess so. LOL at the player to his agent Bob Sugar, "Why don't we have that kind of relationship?" and he tries to hug him....too danged funny. :D
You can say the writing was superb, and it was, but these two nailed their parts. My God are they both talented actors.
brilliant brilliant and once again : man but they are having fun EXTREME FUN‼️And its infectuous to the point of NO resistance whatsoéver 😳❗️
👊🔥🥂

No words spoken between them, just raw, real emotion, I love it
The moment they hug in the moment they cry you just have to except that that’s called brotherly love😢❤️😢❤️😢❤️
Yep. That's brotherly love.

Bob Sugar reaping what he sowed. I better be careful as well, I have my own issues to straighten out and they are real issues.

One of the best sports movies 🫱🏾🫲🏽🔥Tom & Cuba did a great job…
Rod turned down a big second contract. He should’ve inked it. I certainly would have.
Great movie
Same scene when Mourinho hugged Materazzi after Inter treble.
