Noel after the lockdown I'm going to be flying to Orlando FL from Manchester with virgin Atlantic hopefully on the airbus a350 if it's not that one it be a 787 dream liner in October
after lockdown, I would like to go to Dubai 🤩🤩
Noel Philips Aruba 🇦🇼
Hi Noel Im planing to travel Saudi Arabia
@@louisthetravelspotter from Manchester, Virgin plan to use the A330, the only route you’ll be on the 789 on at Manchester is the Pakistan route.
Thank you for flying with us. #flysafarilink
I had the privilege od spending three days in the Masai Mara with my family in 1986. It is amazing. We flew back to Nairobi on a Sunbird Airlines DC 3 which was fabulous.
as a person who has gone through the Wilson airport i would say it is well organized and information is readily available, as you can see in the video there is a person from the respective airlines to lead you out or into of the ramp area, the buildings have signs and if you get lost there are several uniformed staff to help you out, hope you all enjoy travelling within Kenya and the rest of our beloved continent.
Having flown with both Safarilink and Air Kenya into and out of Wilson to various bush airstrips around Kenya, I have found that there really is no better way to travel. Both airlines have always given me first class service on all my flights. Many bigger airlines in both Europe and the USA could learn some customer service tips from both these airlines and the Kenyans in general.
Kenya is one of my absolute favorite places. Tanzania being the second. I've flown Safarilink a number of times and have loved it each time!
I’m going Kenya over the summer so I might go on the masai Mara hopefully
I've flown Safari Link out of Wilson into Ol Seki - fantastic experience. The chaos of the terminals just adds to the glory that is Kenya
Watching them clean the planes and navigate the in and out at that airport was amazing. We enjoyed Safarilink however Kenya Time is a real thing LOL we were so delayed on almost every single flight we took LOL I also love how they make sure they know where they are taking you. Supposed to be going back again next year we shall see how things look then.
Great that there is a lady first officer - hope she makes captain soon!
Feminist
At first when she was calling passenger names out i thought she was a tour guide
@@dave1001 Tour Guide by day, Pilot by night lol
@@Ham1001dy No?
Great to see more female pilots, no reason why they shouldn’t. Sad there’s still people living in the attitudes of the past....
I'll be travelling straight to the pub.. unfortunately the pub doesn't have a landing strip , so I'll have to walk.
Hahaha
I have done this trip 4 times and it is a wonderful experience. At Ol Seki you can be picked up from many camps but the most famous over there is the Ol Seki Hemingway’s Mara camp and it is a wonderful lodge.
As soon as lockdown is over, I'm planning on flying to Buffalo, New York, and then to southern Florida to visit family and to hang out on the beautiful beaches. Another fantastic video Noel!
I wanna get out of Florida lol been 3 years since I traveled out of Florida
An absolutely brilliant Flight Report! I love seeing your videos like these. A great way to see Kenya from above. ✈️
Will you be flying to Nanyuki airport in Kenya? If so, make sure you get a meal from Barney’s - absolutely amazing place right next to the runway!
Seconded 🙌🏽🙌🏽
Kenya aint that bad afterall. Welcome Noel, at least not as bad as you thought. next time make sure you spend at least a week in Maasai Mara and get a trustworthy friend to show you around....that was just a fingertip. welcome back to Nairobi.
When lockdown ends I’ll probably head to Nairobi and then on to Lamu.
Did you end up doing it ?
We don't have lockdown here but infection is still around. When things are normalised, want my daughter and granddaughter to visit me from Nairobi. She is a KQ stewardess and could get a 10per cent flight to Malindi, catch a matatu across the road from the airport to Kilifi. She can't at the moment. Her job any age make it too risky.
Great vid Noel, appreciate the time you gave in making it and sharing with us. 👍
i can’t wait to see more amazing challenges that you do like around the world in 48 hours!
I've traveled to the UK twice a year since 1992 and miss it awfully. Realized I somehow missed the deHaviland Museum. On my list.
Great and unique content. First class or business all the time gets old. Love this kind of real flying.
I flew to my safari in the Masai Mara. We had to go around due to giraffes on the runway 😂
I done this flight a few years ago whilst on safari. You're right about Wilson airport, it is organised chaos, but just adds to the adventure. Watching brought back some memories. Keep up the good work
the reason why at Safarilink one has to board from the airline's launch is because at the main and only departure launch at Wilson airport gets over crowded and chaotic... Wilson is the smallest yet the busiest airport in East Africa.... thanks for Flying with Safarilink... sad I didn't get to see myself in the video... though I've seen my colleagues...
Next time go and have a wild camp experience, with the animals up close and walk around the camp. That's bucket list stuff. As it happens Africa is up there on my first places to go once the governments of the world calm down a bit. .Kenya/Tanzania or maybe Namibia/Botswana. I have backups worldwide for whatever area opens up first.
As soon as it’s over, I want to travel to Australia to visit family for the first time!
Great video. Having flown to these places out of Wilson a number of times you captured this well! :) It's given me serious withdrawal symptoms. Always an experience!
Certainly somewhere sunny. Spain or Greece, I can’t wait to are off.
Travel to Iceland as soon as December hopefully. I think this cold weather can only do justice in ‘ice’ when your in ice built igloos and grizzly bears!
When lockdown is over, I’ll head over to Florida for the nice sun🌞
After lockdown I would love to travel to Africa!!! Such amazing scenery and wildlife!!!
Been watching your vids for a while now and love all your African journeys. When lockdown's over I'd love to Jet over to Ghana and see where my heritage comes from.
Lockdown started last week. Luckily did Western USA trip last month. done for the year traveling. that is ok. its winter so good time to review and edit videos from the last trip. BTW dont need the flight simulator but its a nice contest, Noel .
I would travel to borgotaro in parma Italy to see my dad. I haven't seen him in 1 year and a half and I miss him so much. He was 70 this year but we couldn't go and celebrate with him for a party due to covid. Hopefully we can travel there next year. Here's hoping.
I will be straight to the island of Tenerife for a beautiful holiday in the sunshine ☀️ and a beautiful view from the top of mount teide 😍
We don't have incidences because we are basically used to the chaos, in fact we find other airports dull and boring!
I flew on something similar in Botswana. There were loads of animals down below, but I couldn’t really see them because I got such bad motion sickness 🤮
Hi Noel, May not be far but so looking forward to visiting Belgium again, truly lovely people and full of history
Not often one gets a view over the captain's shoulder. And a lovely part of the world to see. :)
After things calm down, I'm hoping to fly to San Francisco with my wife. :)
After lockdown I'm going to be flying to Perth Western Australia, I will also be leaving from Perth Western Australia with a few stops around the world especially Malta, UK and Moscow. I will have my fingers crossed that I run into at least 1 of my favorite aviation youtubers along the way.
Noel thank youvery much for your video - fantasticas usual. As soon as I can I will make the trip I always wanted and never did - Lisbon - Frankfurt - Hong Kong - Sidney - Los Angeles - New York - Lisbon. Cheers.
Definitely going to be going to Thailand as soon as possible! Best country in the world!
Myself and a friend (who are both former BA Cabin crew) are planning to fly on a Loganair trip around the Orkney & Shetland islands, including the World’s Shortest Flight! (Westray-Papa Westray for those who don’t know!)
Very nice to see female pilots as well.. this flight reminded me of a bus journey through different stops. Amazing!!!
Some nice airstrips there! Better whip out the old Microsoft Flight Sim to fly it myself!
First place I'm travelling to after lockdown is Las Vegas! Never been before, I'm super excited.
I’d love to visit Budapest as I was meant to go in June, but I’d take anything right now! Just to get back travelling would be great!
Budapest is nice in summer.
Definitely will be back to Scotland just love exploring amd to continue my countdown to all Scottish football league stadiums
I really want to go to Mauritius after the pandemic but where I’m from there’s not the same type of look down so I have been to France couple times during the pandemic. Already have x plane but would really enjoy the a300. Lovely video.
When lockdown is over I would love to go back to the Caribbean, but as funds are a bit sparce hope fully I can travel there with the xplane simulator. Thanks for the chance 👍
I will go to Longyearbyen, Svalbard and Faroe Island after the lockdown is over. Scenery in there is just majestic
I would love to visit the UK, london Manchester and Bristol. I can't wait!
When lockdown is over in the UK one of the first places I will be travelling to is to Toronto in order to see a loved one and spend some time with them as I only see them once or twice a year if I am lucky. I do flights on x plane to simulate the real flight with Air Canada to make it seem as real as I can. As well as doing cargo routes around the world. Thank you if you read this 🙂
Hey Noel. My next travel destination is likely to be my BA TP run to LAX via SOF and JFK..... if the USA is open by late Feb 😫
Fingers crossed it will start to open by then!
🤞 but dont see airways opening up until closer to spring. Frustrating 😔🙄🙄😔
great video, i visited one of the lodges last year(2019) and it was so phenomenal
Will be heading Accra via DXB from YYC
As soon as lock down is over I want to travel to the Philippines
When lockdown is over I'll be travelling to France to go to the Airbus Factory
Flew down there in the 1980s when they were still using DC3s...
Once again, a truly awesome video!! 😊
I'll be travelling to Kilifi in Kenya. It has incredible pearly white beaches, a rich Swahili culture, sumptuous sea food and the best lodges in the whole Eastern and Central African region.
When Lockdown in over I'll fly to Japan. Just such a fascinating country.
Agreed
Incredible footage and commentary! Thank you!! And when I can travel without lockdown restrictions, I will be heading to Hawaii. When I have the time and money I want to explore all the beautiful small pacific island nations.
Great video! As soon as the lockdown is over I'm probably gonna travel to Scandinavia to go skiing in the snow.
Another great video Noel my next trip after lockdown would be to alaska to experience the beauty it has to offer and stunning wildlife.
It might be pricey by African Standards, but you flew on a modern Aircraft with a professional airline
First destination after the lockdown will be Portugal (Lisbon). A year ago I would have said London, but nowadays the Eurostar is a good alternative (if you can get the right fare of course...) as it'll save you all the hassle from departing from middle-of-nowhere-port and arriving at London Stansted (which is as close to London as France is to the UK).
Australia (in particular Victoria) has been locked down for most of the last 8 months. We can now travel around our state, and as of tomorrow (Dec 1st), I will be able to travel back to my home state of South Australia (fingers crossed, as that could change at the last minute).
Hi Noel, honestly I’d fly anywhere when lockdown is lifted especially for a chippy tea, maybe you should try this on one of your random flights?
Love the videos keep them coming, stay safe and thanks for the entertainment, cheers.
That was great Noel, the videos keep our spirits up in the hope we will soon be able to fly.we are booked to go to gran Canaria in April, but if things are still bad, we are going to try to go Sydney,as soon as Australia opens its borders.stay/fly safe.👍🏿
So, where to next? VEGAS, BABY! A business conference, but no-one said fun couldn’t be achieved too. 😁
I'd love to go back to Japan - as soon as they'll let me in! Just as much history and culture as you will find in Europe, and if anything cleaner, more polite and safe, but with a side serving of complete culture shock.
I’ll defo be trying to head to Budapest to family when lockdown ends! I’ve never been on the fantastic Airbus Neo series aircraft so should be great to try one soon with BA, Wizz or Ezy. Will also be wonderful to see Heathrow much busier soon too with more than a couple planes every ten mins.
Cant wait to get to my dream holiday to LAX
Where I will be travelling to after lockdown, Rio de Janerio, Dublin and Mallorca. thanks Noel for the videos much appreciated. :)
Was in the Mara last year! Unbelievable experience!!
Those traffic callouts on short final are comforting 😂
Nice little trip.
Thanks for the video
Great video once again Noel. Our first trip when we can will be from the Highlands of Scotland, to HSV again.. They have an awesome Space Museum and the city is pretty good too... If you are ever in Alabama its well worth a visit!!!!
As soon as lockdown is over I am going to try and get to Hong Kong
Love the vids!!
Traveling to Dubai for a fortnight as soon as lock down is over , love the content keep it going 👏🏼
Ill be flying to Paris to take my daughter to DisneyLand Paris for her first airplane journey and her first ever holiday! She's coming up 2 and I want to do something special for her birthday! Love the videos, thank you for the awesome content!❤
If the lockdown is over I'll probably go visit my grandma
Hey Noel. Great vid again! After lockdown, I'm hopefully going to Gran Canaria! :)
I visited Kenya last year but went everywhere by road. Next time I’ll be flying for sure. I can highly recommend Amboseli and Naivasha.
It is such an incredible country.
9:01 ....yes..it's normal for aircraft to get close to the runway, that's how they land 😆😆
When lockdown is over, I'm going to try to go to Australia again! My first trip was cancelled because of the Virus and it has been my dream destination since I was 10. Looking forward to it and scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef!
Amazing vids been watching on Facebook for some time,
I’ll be off to South America or South Africa. Haven’t decided yet.
Great video I would love to visit, I think this is where the original Bush Pilots TV series was based.
I’ll be off to a Dubai when possible to visit my best mate and his new baby 👶
I was meant to be taking a flight similar to this from Wilson to the Mara, for my Honeymoon in August, but Covid saw to that! Hopefully we’ll be able to go next year
When lockdown end, I will be flying to Delhi from Pune to meet my grand parents!
Had things not been so difficult id of been flying to Ghana for my friends wedding next week , ill have to go some time next year instead
Loved the vlog i always look forward to yours keep up the good work also look forward to seeing your wife fly again
Wow! Love your beautiful editing.Kenya is a beautiful country indeed.
Hey Noel! As soon as there’s a vaccine and it’s effective my family will go to the Maldives. My mom is a frontline worker and it will give her a sense of relaxation as well as for the rest of the family. Hopefully it’ll be in 2021 🙏
Don’t mind where to, just can’t wait to see the earth from above again! Great video btw (haven’t got a pc so pls don’t enter me for the comp 👍)
I will be off to Canada as soon as I can with my family, we love it. iniBuilds A300 looks so beautiful, DHL into EGLL would be my choice for a flight in X-Plane, seen the flight irl from myrtle avenune
Looking forward to taking my newborn on his first family vacation to Fiji and New Zealand.
Won’t be travelling anywhere in fortunately but want to do some where is Europe again roll on next year 👍
