30 min video no ads this man is a legend
I have been building a very similar build based on your last video. I need to optimise some pieces and roll some more EAD but on the whole it is very strong in pve. On my first time running solo warren gate I got to the final room but died. With some practice and tweaking positioning I feel I can fly through it now. I have 2 liberators, one with destructive, ferocious and predatory, the other talented, determined and ferocious. Thanks again and keep up the great work
thx buddy, do really appreciate it. wow thats awesome to hear that you almost fly through this missions now GG ;-) yes, last part (boss room) can be annoying. you really have to try to kill the 2 healers right at the beginning with your sticky, otherwise try to lure them out of the room and kill them there. which talents have you re rolled on your guns?

RODSCHER 80 kinda funny because when classy comes out the only thing your gonna end up changing is the 4 tact to classy tact
yes and no. i guess i will use 5 piece classy with barretts or inventive 👍
RODSCHER 80 4 with Barrets and inventive imo gonna be better then 5 and inventive Barrets goes out the window as inventive is better the 6 is a joke really I mean you could build more into stam or fa but what's the point of that tact has been a cover based skill build
RODSCHER 80 also be for I forget I think they should increase the 5s skillpower to 10% 5% is laughable and the 6 needs to be reworked cause that's a joke in it self look at all the other 6s pred striker d3 nomad all have meaningful 6s they tact 6 is a waste of what could have been they I could list off things they could have done but I woudlnt wanna make this reply to much longer

I tried it with a 204 weapon with predatory at free slot Determined and I use Talented as 3the ! So I have even more skill power amazing 😉!! I love to use skill power build but this is the best ! When predatory proxs it’s so fast ! And I used Determined the wrong way now I know what it thus the right way cool! I use 3 tac. Ninja backpack 🎒 and 2 Classified Final Measure for extra protection. I’m waiting for the Classified tactician omg 😮 can’t wait lol 😂 good video thank you 🙏
really glad, that it works for you as well. i personally prefer to have destructive over talented but as usual this is a personal preference 😉👍
The bosses in Warren Gate won’t come down the stairs anymore so it’s really hard to solo. Would love to get an updated video for 1.8 on Legendary Warren Gate.
i didn't had this problem yet. but i will see it tomorrow on my weekly farming runs through the legendary missions ;-)

thx a lot for your feedback. really glad to hear, that you enjoy the build too ;-) you can farm really fast but honestly you are a little bit too squishy if you met some players. if i farm in the dz usually with striker or my skill nomad build (have a video about these as well ;-))
Been doing legendary using tactician for a while.
I have one that I’m working on, need some max seeker mine damage mods and a couple pieces with more EAD and DTE, it’s hard to get good rolls without classified
thats truth yes, thats truth. but it is a important part of the game to grind for even better pieces all the time. lets see if this still will be a part after a while with the optimization station 😉

Seems your priority for gear mods are electronic mods with additional skill power. I play my Tactician( (with 5 Gear Set peaces and relentless backpack) with purple electronic mods plus 4 % elite damage. Do you think it would be more effective to change these mods to have more pure skill power instead of more elite damage?
Furthermore I use Skilled on my Assault Rifle. What do you think of this weapon talent does it make sense to you?

welcome buddy, appreciate your comment and feedback. depends a little where you gonna use the build the most i use both setups. for the new legendary missions and incursions i use dte mods (because you meet just elites in there) and for the old ones i use skillpower (and for pvp as well) depends a bit as well which dte mods you got if you got the 4% or the 3%. with the 4% it is def. worth using but compared to the 3% version, the difference is not too big. to be honest, as i did this video, i just had the 3% ones, thats why i preferred them over the dte mods.
Hey mate, I was just wondering with your weapons they are a low gear score I assume that's so you can enable the talents, were these guns crafted from a blue print?

How and where do I find the +265 Electronics gear mods? Tried vendors, dark zone vendors, no luck

My question is the following: now that we have classified gear does it still make sense to have Barrett's chest piece instead of classified tactician vest? Barrett's vest is deceptive - once you use a skill the next one is going to do much less damage; while with classified you will always do the same damage regardless. Also, since you can reach 48% skill haste with 5 piece classified, you might get rid of determined as a talent and replace it with competent, hence do more damage with both your skills.... Would that not be a good alternative, beside the fact that with classified electronics stats will be higher?

Hi Rodscher! No more sticky bomb damage performance mod? For the moment, I used, like you before, 2 performance mod for seeker and 2 for the sticky.
I didn't see the video until the end, maybe you tell us why after overview?
hi christophe! depends if i do run solo or in a group. as long as i can oneshot the healers i use seeker damage and if not i change to sticky damage 😉

thx reiner, you can buy the blueprints for this weapons in the BoO. I think it is on W3. Just test it out for yourself. Change the worldtier go quickly to an open world boss and have a look at the drop ;-)
Farm bosses & missions in W3 and you'll have some in no time.
Thanks for the guide. I'm new to Tactician and really enjoying it even when not completely optimized. Just a quick question, how do you get enough Firearms and Stamina to unlock the talents on weapons if you go full Electronics?
welcome ;-) you don't need enough firearms and stam. you just need lower gearscore weapons 😉
That's witty. Now I have to look for a recipe with low gearscore. Any recommendations for on where to get it? DZ1?
the lower gearscore weapons? blueprint vendor and craft a couple is the best way. otherwise go to World Tier 3 and farm some open world bosses 😉👍

works as well in groups as solo. i do usually change the performance mods to sticky bomb dmg but otherwhise i do run the exact same stats 👍
There is still a bug in the seeker mines ! They get often stuck and when I try to stop them LB they are not reacting ? So I have to wait until the timer runs out ..weird ! I did not know that guns stack electronics faster. Side note your mic 🎤 is always making sound are you hitting it? Good video
thx for the feedback buddy. something seems to be weird with my mic and or my settings at the moment will test it and see where the problem is. yes, unf. this still happens. the only thing you can do then is to try to make the npc move that bugs your seekers with shooting or grenades.
Why are your main weapons only gearscore 228? Is it because the weapon mods then have lower skill requirements?
yes, to unlock all the weapon talents ;-)
if i don`t want to expose myself in order to hit the NPC`s with my gun to proc determined , what would be a good idea to get my skills back quickly? or if you have determined on your primary gun and have it equipped and kill an NPC with your sticky or seeker it procs determined also??
yes, determined procs too if you kill npc with your skills (seeker & sticky) ;-)
Use pulse turret and seeker mines the turret will build stacks and you can sit in cover and the kills from the skills will proc determind/predatory
Love your tac build I have been using it since the previous build guide.
I was under the impression that the skill cap that was lifted in PTS 3 from 450k to 550k and had made it into Patch 1.8. How can we confirm it is still 450k. The debate on the PTS forums at the time was that there would be no use of the 6pc and stack to 60% if the cap was 450k.
this was the same time we complained about the turret not stacking so they gave us back the turret stacking and then nurfed the 6pc bonus to only work if both skills were off cool down and not active. Now you feel that the cap is still 450k what is going on with tac? I am just confused a little and maybe a little disappointed if it is still at 450k. How do we know what it is for sure?

Is determined procced when you get kills with your Seeker or sticky bomb or do you have to get the kill with your weapon?
yes, it does proc with your skill kills as well 👍

On the note of weapon talents, wouldn't Prepared be better to roll for instead of Ferocious? Prepared is a flat 15% damage increase across the board so long as you are > 30 meters away from your targets, which with the playstyle of this build seems easy to accomplish. Where Ferocious is a 10% damage increase only against Elites and Named.
I have a question about "predatory" does the kill have to be done by your gun or does it count your skills kills as well? same question about determined...good video by the way, just please do something about those microphone pops, maybe use a pop shield....
predatory procs for kills with your seeker and sticky as well, thats why it is as awesome as it is ;-) same about determined. thx buddy, appreciate your feedback and comment a lot. will adjust the settings for future videos! (two are already recorded)
one more question: so it so happens I still had a tactician build "lying" around ;) and it has almost the same stats as yours, but I never played sticky. now my sticky does something around 1,2 million I went out to try it on some open world bosses in tier 5, but couldnt oneshot them, in fact I needed as many as 3 shots. whats going on there? my turret can kill those bosses in a couple of seconds despite doing far less damage than my sticky...somehow sticky never works for me...
have you checked your gear for enemy armor damage and especially for damage to elites on knees and mask? do you use the right gun talents as well? these are all very important factors for the total damage 👍
What are all the tac pieces that can roll skill haste on this build?

Is it possible to get those two weapson (ACR and LVOA) to 280? Why do they ahve to be at 228?
you can get them as 280 yes, but it doesn't make that much sense because you need 228 to unlock all the talents

Man D go to world tier 3-4 and kill names enemies
Why do you not use classified tactician for the little boost in main stats and a second re roll

How do you have such high SP?. I have more ELE than you and just 388K SP. Is that from Barret vest?.
it is mainly from barretts and or invetive yes ;-) but you need to have all in electronics and skillpower as well.
Ive crafted weapons with a 204 blueprint with these talents, there gear score is 211 and 212, if i fully optimize them will the gear score go over 228? I dont want to lose the talents lol
this doesn't matter. you can still unlock the talents ;-)

depends which missions you do. on legendary mission its better to use skill power rather than purple ones. for missions with just elites you could run DTE mods as well. but you don't feel a huge difference between this two options
Where can I find weapons with good stats like that? And also, how come your backpack adds so much skill power compared to the other one you showed when they’re virtually the same on electronics?
hey buddy, thx for your comment. i craft my weapons by myself (blueprints) and craft as long until i got the talents i want ;-) and the bp is a huge difference because of the talent ;-) with inventive you do have 15% skillpower more.
does that 15% get factored into the on screen skillpower also? cause its like a good 40k jump from what it seems

Im trying to do a tac build for sticky bomb ... But. I can't seem to get it to a million damage

Any big changes to the build for group play besides sticky damage?
not really, just one thing you could do if you have a reclaimer in the group. change the chest to a vigorous if you want. but otherwise it should work as good 👍
So what are your thoughts on the classified version? Going to run 5 piece? 6 Piece? I saw most people's vids saying 5 and inventive backpack, wanted your input as well though. Its going to be the main set I'm hunting for on the next GE. I'm guessing you wouldn't change any of the rolls on any pieces either just get more of them since its classified and easier to get god rolls.
exactly my thought as well. if they don't change anything i will stick to 5 pc classy tac with inventive. or even with barretts (depends on the drops i get ;-)) but yes, the stats will stay the same as in this video. was running this version on the pts as well. (my speed run on napalm legendary 19 min was with this set on pts 👍)
What score prints do I need to craft a couple of assault rifles with the correct talents available with the low stats required ?
do you mean what blueprints you need? as long as it is a lower gear score 204 AR it doesn't matter. you can craft an lvoa-c, an acr, an ak, ...
RODSCHER 80 yeah that’s what I meant what gear score prints will give me the talents without having to spec into the stats required at a higher GS. Bought 229 p416 print and 204 ACR print last night , the 204 is suffice yeah?
On a different note just got back into this game after a year and have been watching a few of your videos amongst other to try to get up to speed with the changes since I left , videos are brilliant keep up the good work and thank you for the reply.

Hey nel, where did you get acr blueprint from I can’t find it at all? Was there a reset or something? Only location I can find with blueprints for sale is special vendor at terminal

At 11:43, during the painfully slow scrolling, I'm all like "what's the minor stat, what is it, showmeshow me, I can almost read it." And poof, it;s gone again. Me, like, "NOOOOOO!".
Sometimes I think you are purposely trying not to show your build. Also, watching this with no sound (some people do have RUclips at work, you know), it's driving me nuts with all the jumping around from screen to screen and item to item.
Apart from that, nice build. Looking forward to try it, thanks for sharing.

I would have to argue that my 5pc with 58% DTE probably hits harder then you're build. However you'res is a nice setup as well but I find DTE mods hits harder
