Hey nice Video and nice Route
But i have a suggestion for Soretto and Strings.... Just fast travel to Amhersts House and walk to Strings travel to Amhersts ant walk to Soretto... its a Little bit faster than run from Wolfs Den all the way down. And for SGT. Lewis i travel to Police Academy and run to him.
You walk from Chains to Cpl Wright but you can teleport to Cpl Wright. He's only a few meters from the Police station mission (after teleport turn and walk through the alley on the left and climb up. He's then on the right. Furthermore you only can get only the exotics Caddeus, Tennebrae and skull gloves from this route. You can get all the classified and cypher key parts.

Just wanted to say great video. I have followed your guide and i have gotten six exotic's from taking down open world bosses. Two Caduceus,two Sniper rifles , and two gloves. Keep up the great work.

Ya, every time I get a classified or exotic. Also with the event, each run gives me enough for a cache which is another chance for an exotic or classified.
I also used this run when upgrading my gear to get to world tier 5. By the end I was pretty much good.
just started playing again. its kinda hard to farm classified solo since none of my friends playing. thx for the guide !
Thanks. My route is way different than yours but the time is about the same. Problem is, I quit years ago and needed a reminder about where they even are. lol... My 8 year old Granddaughter just hit level 30 and I'm farming with her a little. Got her to gear score 272 today. Need to get her to 291 like her old Papaw ;)

So this Guide is amazing. I was a little hesitant based on my current gear and cranking it up to Tier 5 after just barely getting back in but hey I Lucked up !. My first run netted me 2 exotics! A HEEL marksman rifle and the Ninja Bike Back pack...kinda sucks the bag doesn't work with classifieds but hey I still was grinning! Besides that I made enough phoenix credits to top me off to buy the Lightweight M4 blueprint. Thanks a lot !

i got like 6+ exotics(Ninjabike, Bullfrog my best) and like 6+ classified items doing this run for the first time
this was amazing and much better than farming any other way

I remember doing this route over and over again for the skull MC gloves. But its nice how the state of the game is now. Just started playing again.

NothingButSkillz no good loot unfortunately but its all good part of the grind. Good loot if you run around west side piers doing the random missions and decent div tech, i got 2 classifieds 1 exotic drop and about 80 div tech in just under 2 hours.
today i did this boss route for the second time at all. i just took 13 bosses cause i havent done the story completely yet. i got in one run 9 set items, two of them classified. but in level 200 cause before this run i just was tier 2. that route is so great to farm good loot. i dont need dark zone if this keeps straight. so cool to get so many set items

For Strings and Sorreno it’s quicker to fast travel to Amherst’s Apartment-mission as both bosses are within a 100 meters from where the mission starts.

Yup listen to him guys, I did this as part of my routine for about a month before this last GE and got almost all of the available classified sets just from this farm

Now the Classified Gear set start to be dropped by these mini-bosses AGAIN, but you will still only have 3 exotics around these places, Caduceus, Tenebrae and Skull Gloves.

No they might not be high enough levels
I have found the house, many classifieds, big Alejandro and ninja backpack from the regular bosses, they do drop good just have to grind them.
My second time doing this run I got the hungry hog and a couple of times after that I got the Tommy Gun and I just did it right now and I end up getting colonel bliss's holster like you said in the video just another way to farm I really just doing and don't think about getting the Exotics so I have received three exotic so far altogether I probably did it like 5 or 7 times and I never finish the last couple of bosses I always get the Exotics at the first like 9 + 10 bosses thanks for the video so it is possible

And the bosses are 4 hrs per character, so you can farm 60 bosses if your so inclined if you have 4 toons.
I watched your old vid and literally today was like is there one for 1.8 and bam you just uploaded it lol. Watching it in more depth though and for some reason bullet King (1st one) is never there for me
Yeah I needed to update a few things and wanted to make it a little better.
Come on guys, it's all about rng, i already got showstopper, warlord, classified lonestar, Striker, banshee, predator and nomad with this metod, so it's reliable.

People don’t understand that if you farm multiple methods it makes it not as boring and give you chance with RNG.
Yesterday got The House from a UG boss, but last 3 farming days got nothing, got to keep farming, still need Nomad kneepads

Before 1.8 and global I was getting a lot of classified, then nothing but gold since. I got 2 classified pieces in 1 run before, now nothing. The only exotics I get are the tenebrae and caduseus, and once in a while the skull gloves. Hope it changes soon.

Thanks for the vid, did the first six bosses and got two classifieds, problem is they are dups, THEY ARE ALWAYS DUPS!!!! LOL need a few odd pieces to get to that magic number of three full sets for the commendation and American Flag backpack trophy in Division 2 but it is taking forty forever's, did I mention THEY ARE ALWAYS DUPS!!!! LOL Thanks again!!
Update: did the full run and right of the bat got a Classified dup, midway through got an exotic and second to the last was an exotic, gladly trade those for classifieds as I have 3-4 dups of all the exotics.

Yes it's not always but a good 60/40 chance. I've tested this in open world and DZ😎
I got two classified gear today doing the run. Got 4 exotic and 2 classified already for two or three runs.

The exotics you might have along the way are only Skull Gloves, Tenebrae or Caduceus. No more than them.

Not the most efficient way of running the bosses, but it works. Actually drops classified and exotics quite frequently compared to other ways if farming for solo players. Granted it isn’t the full exotic pool. RNG is a funny thing. For one person they may have more success in the DZ and others doing missions. So there is no guaranteed way.
If you kill the named enemy dead last it increases the odds of a classy or exotic drop.

1:58 it would be best to spawn at Amherst's Apartment, since it is much closer to Strings and the Cleaner heavy boss.
Has anyone else noticed a slowdown on the drop rate for classified or exotics for the boss run? I've done one or two runs every day since the global event ended and I'm getting almost noting dropped now. The past 5 runs have only dropped one exotic and one classified. WTH?
Yesterday I got 3 classifieds killing the open world PVE bosses, I highly recommend you guys to try out this method, for me it's one of the easiest ways to farm...

To me, boss at east 23 street didn't spawn for some reason. I was pretty lucky with drops. I got 3 classified pieces on one run. On second run, I got an Exotic and that's it.

Hey Skillz! This is the first thing I do when I log in! I've got a full sentry classified set just by doing this run (not all in one run lol) it's just a shame about the small exotics loot pool.

NothingButSkillz Crazy! I hope they have increased the loot pool, I've only had the 3 known exotics tho. Mainly run it for the classified XD
1. Do you need to complete ALL side missions in whole LZ for the bosses to spawn or the boss comes in the district you have completed them?
2. IS there a difference between the named bosses (in the vid) vs the HVT targets in the search and destroy missions?

Your better off running the dark zone. I get classified items all the time from bosses and from the locked dark zone stashes. I had a full classified sentry set and 3 pieces of nomad drop just from farming DZ 09.
Yes but this one is a good run to run by yourself and only takes like 20 minutes then you can jump in the darkzone
Fuck the Dark zone is too risky when you want to extract an object and the bastards come to fuck you by killing you and stealing your loot.Like today i farm the DZ-07 and i got for the first time the messenger ninjabike i go to the DZ-06 after i call the helicopter for extract my first ninjabike and a team of 3 stupid player kill me and i lost my ninjabike so FUK DARK ZONE and the rogue player.
I run resistance solo. Open 3-4 reward containers hit wave 10 and wipe and with the tier 2 cache I think it's way better
VOID DEATH ケェヲキェケ its good of you run a group or if you wanma risk going solo. At least this won't take as much time or as risky going to the DZ when you need to extract the items
dz is great in a team, but just run into a few Rogues when alone when extracting and you just waisted your time to help someone else.

I farmed the oh unholy hell out of these bosses and still shoot them. My haul has been extensive and good. By far the easiest way to get the gudlewt.

No stay on that char finish the main mission unlock the base to 100%
Aswad Forde nothing really changed for ppl under 30. Majority of the patches affect endgame
U go wolves den for Sorreto n Strings? I go Amhersts, its closer...as is going Clinton south for Erskine, not that ive measured it but its simpler at any rate.
4 characters, 4 runs last 3 weeks with work down time, can’t recall the last time I seen a classy drop. Even during the GE’s never had a classy drop
Go dz or UG, LZ bosses are a waste of time
Drops in this method are usually horrible, I do this farming route, it rarely pays off.
All I need is the classified nomad vest, classified pred holster & classified banshee vest😭😭

Thanks! This helps a lot since I'm solo player. I go into the Dark Zone but always get killed. Last time I was in the DZ it took me 2 hours to get one item.
Side note, how are you hitting so hard? Your base shots are 20k for the Big Aejandro and mine is only 13k. What's your build?
