From tik tok…good vid ready to see what she does onna track…keep in mind you should look into an aluminum driveshaft and diff brace…coming off hard digs are scary with the stock HC driveshaft.
Welcome to the channel my friend, thanks for the support and the advice. I will be doing a video on my diff brace this weekend, but you’re right, I still need a driveshaft 😕
Jack up the rear from the diff so you can do both wheels at the same time. Also you will need to address the back end aspa aka control arms, trailing arms, Diff Brace, axels, and drivshaft. Wheel hop wil send parts to the upper room.
I bought a set of these tires for my street/strip truck. I was hoping that they would hook like bias slicks and keep me from constantly having to switch back and forth. Unfortunately they didn't hook like I needed but I am also running a manual shift. Hopefully they will work for you with the automatic.
@@miked1551 I’ve been driving on this setup for almost 9 months now, zero issues except for very minor rubbing on the corner of 1 tire (Only from doing digs at the track which makes the car squat) but the tires will wear worn out before the rubbing is an issue. Cleared all suspension without having to swap endlinks. 💯
I just got some yesterday 8/24 315/55r17 they don’t rub but I got two boys and I feel like if I take them out they will rub a lil bit so I’m better off puting some 50s idk what to do with the 55 lol
Great video, so no spin with traction control disabled, sounds great! Please make a video after you drive it a little bit more, I'm curious about your opinion for daily driving this setup, so drag wheels and tires.
I appreciate the support. I’ll definitely keep you updated. I’ve daily driven this setup for about 2 weeks now. Drives really smooth, but I feel as if the height of these tires slow down the car a bit.
@@DrHorsePower Cool, thank you. I believe that lots of people will enjoy your review about daily driving. I love the look of this setup, car lost a bit from the luxury point of view, but now does look more powerful. Those tires are spectacular. I've heard that people prefer for daily driving 392, because the power is not so insane. But this setup sounds like a remedy, haha. Happy New Year!
@@saidmouri2904 unfortunately bro, I don’t recall. I bought them years ago for a Challenger that I owned. But I do recall I went to Autozone, and they were able to tell me which will fit.
What wheel size are them I know that the tire size is 315/55/17. So does that make the wheels 17s?? Will them tires fit a wheel that's a 17x11 2mm. I just got my charger and wanting to put drag wheels and tires in the rear.
@@chastineburnette8739 Hey bro, yessir they will fit your 17x11. That’s the exact size I have. I just don’t recall the offset. I won’t lie, these tires look GREAT, but they are tall, so your car will tilt. Your dig races will improve like crazy, but if you roll race, I would recommend a shorter tire.
I just got my tires where did you get your wheels from. But it's like I don't want the same wheels I want something different but trying to find the right wheels is a pain. Lol
I guess that’s why they call them Hellcat swaybar links. I had to change mine on my widebody scat pack. Yeah, I put the Weld Laguna Beadlocks on mine along with the Mickey Thompsons . They make a world of difference. Even with my 392. ✌🏽
After taking them off, there was signs of very minimal rubbing against a section of the black liner on the passenger side. But it was so minimal that I didn’t even correct it.
Looks GORGEOUS!
@@jeffreynye3019 I appreciate that
That setup looks amazing! Car looks so aggressive!! 😮

You are absolutely correct, I am going to start looking into those parts asap 💯💯. I appreciate you.

You are absolutely correct. I sold a set of these wheels on my manual challenger for bias slicks. Much better traction.
Nice vid! Did you have to install the shorter sway link bars? If not, any problems or obstacles mounting the 17s?

💯💯💯
I just got the exact same setup
It definitely helps, my only regret is the size of my rear wheels. I want to downsize to 315/50 soon
@@DrHorsePower I got 315/45s on my widebody and they fit perfectly imo

Hay bro question what size did you get for the lug nuts

i know this video is a little old but how wide are the rims & whats the back spacing?
@@artmoe9776 The wheels are 17x11. Unfortunately I don’t remember the back spacing.
I rear contact/width wise they are 1 inch smaller then the 315/50/17 which confuses me
Did you have to replace your rear sway bar links?
No sir, fit with no issues. I had to replace the links on my narrow body challenger though.

Where can I get / order those tires ?

Thanks for the quick response.
Appreciate it.
Hi so no rubbing at all with those tires?

@DrHorsePower you can always remove the wheel liner. That should give you more clearance
