i like how you nail the cymbal sounds almost perfect, you know exactly which crash cymbals to hit, im just not the type of drummer to do covers, so i would never attempt a cover no matter how much i love the band, dimmu used to be one of my fav bands, i still like them though

Covers are a great way to practice, and to learn new techniques and playing styles. I feel it helps you set a clear goal to push yourself too.

Great cover mate! Nice and solid! I'm listening to this on my phone, might want to turn the cymbals down a bit and raise the Snare and bass?

Hey l1nk987! Thank you! Yes, you are right. I am still learning on how to EQ the drums and will do that on the next cover! Thanks again!

Fucking love that fill at 3:40. I forgot to ask what kind of resonant heads do you use for your drums?

What drum head do u think are the best for metal I’ve been using Remo clear emperor head on the top

In my opinion the Remo Pinstripes clear. They're versatile! They give a nice fat attack when you hit them hard especially on the floor toms and at the same time without coating and good tuning, can make the drum sing!

When I record the drum I make sure to put the flat end of each drum mic facing the center of the drumhead for attack and take your time when you EQ from what ever DAW you're using. I use Waves SSL 4000 plugins. pretty expensive but definitely worth it!
