Подшипник, возможно, тихоходный. И я тоже скептически смотрел, но до момента, когда они стали собирать сепаратор. У них ОПРАВКА ЕСТЬ! Это говорит о том, что этот подшипник уже не первый. Причём, насколько она заюзанная, явно далеко не первый.

They are going to need bigger balls and a couple of o/d and i/d sleeves.
I don't know if you have any experience of loose ball ballbearing bicycle hubs, but there can be a lot of scope for adjustment between 'spinning super freely' and 'still smoothly spinning but adjusted much more tightly'. How do you know it is now scrap?
@@timothydraper3687 Try looking at the video first. This is NOT an adjustable ball bearing, like the bicycle example you refer to. This is / was a precision made industrial bearing with tolerances in the tenth of thou's.
It has been "Bodged" back together with the internal race I/D ground oversize, the external race O/D ground undersize and both ball races ground back to the balls are a rattle fit with no pre-load.
As posted above they have taken a scrap bearing and turned it into a more expensive pile of scrap metal.

First of all you can't weld case harding steel. It's a nice looking repair, first time under work load it will snap.
Я думал, что Пакистан довольно развитая страна и купить новый подшипник не составляет проблем, но посмотрел видео и понял, что они живут в не знаю каком веке, у них нет магазинов, нет дорог, нет ни чего кроме электродов для ручной электросварки. Теперь когда увижу на каком нибудь товаре (сделано в Пакистане) могу смело выбрасывать в мусорку. Это нельзя ставить не на одну машину или какую нибудь другую технику. А ещё говорят, что у них есть ядерное оружие, наверно ракеты сварены на помойке и используют вот такие подшипники. Интересно куда они могут полететь? Кошмар.
Так подобный подшипник стоит наверное неипично. Тут я офигиваю от стоимости подшипников в кпп газель, а там по сравнению с этим просто крошечные.
i agree that this will not last but I also think that the cost of a bearing of that won't be cheap either. It would have helped if on the corners he had grooved a deeper for better penetration, then before the lathe he had annealed it then the lathe then tempered it to the correct RC value. It would last quite a long time but the way he shows, it will soon crack on either side of the welds if not the welds themselves. Nice try but sorry. Just my 2 cent, might be wrong. GLHF
@@plainlytim Да, всё верно, подшипник изготавливается из высоколегированной стали и он обязательно лопнет рядом со сварными швами, хорошо если это произойдёт без серьёзной аварии.

для контента прикольно, но для практики не имеет ни какого смысла, эта сталь не варится, дорожка для шариков должна быть шлифованная и точно в размер, а не бор машинкой, наружную и внутреннюю обойму проточил болгаркой, размер подшипника уменьшил, ну короче не верю, что они эту дичь поставят, чисто для видео.
Заметьте что у них есть оправки значит имеет место быть массовый "ремонт".. ну может недельку отработает и окупается

It is not the first time they do this for this size of bearing: the support for de-rivetting and re-rivetting the balls' cage is not new, and it fits for this size only!

this repair can't last...you cannot weld case hardened steel like that...the weld will fail right at the edge where it meets the original metal... They also ground out the inside of the two case halves making it larger. now the balls are too loose.
Dependendo da aplicação pode funcionar por um bom tempo , como por exemplo em uma articulação de braço de uma maquina em que o movimento é limitado e lento , porem já não serviria como mancal de um gerador diesel eletrico com alta rotação e carga devido a imprecisão fatal das medidas e a cementação destruida , , porem é um trabalho muito bom , poucos conseguiriam isso com a tecnologia que eles tem disponivel

No measuring device! What about hardness? Ceratinly not the same material and structure for the original part and the welded zone.

судя по виду приспособы для сепаратора, видела она не одну сотню, а может и тысячу точно таких же подшипников.
Вечная работа. Где-то есть какая-то говномешалка в которой разрывает эти подшипники, вот они и курсируют туда сюда.
Кстати в соседнем видио ремонтировали задний мост, очень похоже что от туда
одной рукой такой подшипник ставишь, а второй слезы вытираешь
да они варят один и тот же подшипник, он у них по ходу один на весь Пакистан, вот и варят каждый день😆

This video seems more legit than other similar "bearing repair" videos where they skip crucial steps and just perform a switcheroo at some point with an intact bearing In this one they actually show how they reinstall the balls, and even have a custom mounting tool just for this kind of bearing. Of course that says nothing about the longevity of the repair, but the familiarity they have with the procedure is uncanny.
I did the research for a new bearing of that size, found several for $1200 to $1600. Some even as high as $12000 depending what material. Starts to make sense why they repair these instead of just buying a new one.

I am sure this is gonna be used in a low speed odd machine which precision isn't the most important matter. I remember I had a low speed paper folder myself with a broken bearing which I needed to change but, the machine still was functional and I never changed the bearing until I dumped the folding machine!
Doing what they have to, to get the job done. May not be acceptable to us but it is a way of life for them. Maybe it wtorks maybe not, who knows.😊

Один вопрос, почему лопнул подшипник😮.... Объяснение этому видео такое, нищета, бедность, и не надо их осуждать... Даже если это не безопасно, их всё равно много, и рождаемость высокая... Вы переживаете за их человеческую жизнь? Не надо, рождаемость такова, что даже крупномасшабная биологическая катастрофа, не повлияет на рост населения, не то что война.... Их настолько много, что им по барабану смертность....от несчастного случая... Этот подшипник очень дорогой, по этому дешевле восстановить, хоть не надолго. А подшипник мог лопнуть только в одном случае, когда размер, куда должен был он посажен, был выше допуска. Токарю респект и уважение за труд!!!

Oh dear! The balls will have a rough ride, let alone welding of hardened steel altering the temper. Might get the truck going again until owner can afford a new bearing, prices are generally low compared to other components.
Either new bearings are very expensive or the shop rate is very low or both.
Ends up looking pretty good, too bad it won't last.

in the end, they could have made a mould with "fixed" bearing then melt the iron and cast a unique piece with no weldings. at least even if with enlarged sphere's seat, the structure should have been more solid to stretching and compressing, i think. or it it would have been an extra needless work.

This is not possible, if you weld hardened steel and don't heat treat it to stress release it,firstly you would be practically unable to machine it unless you grind it.and the bearing outer sleeve crack again in the same place due to the steel being bridal,l certainly would not use it again.
I'll have to buy some magic welding electrodes from him.
