    If I can hop in and recommend standardclip as a clipping alternative. Very simple, lots of flexibility and only €25. Used by Ian Kirkpatrick and Andrew Watt. Great plug-in

    Couldn’t agree more - huge fan of Soundtoys and BABY Audio - they’re staples. Great video. Cheers.

    bro...run the headphone chord under your shirt( from the back ).....it will eliminate the headphone chord hitting the mic every 4.5 seconds...... :) great stuff man!

    oh cool! a pro-plugin video. :>
    ok so here's the thing: instead of using the bsa clipper you could try freeclip by venn audio. it doesn't look as beautiful but it has different types of waveshapers in it, means hardclipping and lots of types of softclipping. and it has optional oversampling. most of the time you don't wanna use a clipper with oversampling, because that just obscures the clipping points, but it can be useful if it's less about peaks and more about shaping the sound itself.

      yep. this works. i've been using limiters instead recently though.

    I use all these except bsclipper and revoice. I use melodyne instead and kclip. I love kclip because it is super light on cpu and it has render overaampling so that I render 32x oversampling but I work without it. Also it has a second clipper built in so the overaampling doesn’t add unwanted peaks after the First clipping stage.

    Nice one! Is there a reason you prefer ReVoice over Melodyne? Because as far as I know (from mainly using Melodyne 5), all of what you've shown can be done in Melodyne as well, plus even polyphonic pitch correction. Does ReVoice have a specific advantage?

    • @Bittamin
      @Bittamin Год назад +4

      Im coming to a conclusion from looking for some that 10-25 dollar plugins would be the best because you just give all your information to sign up for the plugins and then they send it out for money so really nothing is ever free, you get used and that’s fine but annoying

    Idont want my BVs tuned exactly as the lead. I want them looser. I certainly dont want my BVs to be perfectly aligned timing wise because then I lose the big BV sound. Any noticeable timing issues I will manually adjust.
    So... instead of forking out $600 US for Revoice Pro I will continue to use my bundled version of Melodyne and my adjustable global tuning on IZo Nectar.. or free Reatune that comes with Reaper.

    Great stuff. Noir sounding awesome here - it is such a beautiful VST. I got one Question for you Nathan: How was the synth sound in the first track done? You know, that evil, dark sounding rhythmic pattern playing alongside the drums?

    Have you demoed the new Synchro Arts - RePitch yet? I'm tempted to buy it to go along with VocAlign Ultra instead of ReVoice Pro, would be interested in your opinion.

    unfortunately many plugins that seem cheap in dollar become very expensive in other countries currencies, it is very difficult to find good plugins and produce them when you live in these countries
