Thanks for sharing man. I totally agree - I just used XVox on a mix and found it so helpful in so many ways. Even using just the effects on an aux sounds so good. Really versatile plugin.

I saw this plugin advertised on Instagram and kept telling myself that I should try it. I downloaded the trial version the the other day, threw it on the master track, and sifted through the presets. I was like, “oooo, I like this!” Then I threw it on my main vocal track, and I was sold! I bought it that day! Yeah that "Howard Benson" one is so horrid in appearance wise so I didn't even bother to download, too ugly for my studio, we are all about prestige, when client looks over and sees "Xvox" they know they're going to get the cleanest vocal ever, don't want them looking over and feeling like they just invested I know into a mistake.
@@Slicktune .....I have heard all sorts of reasons why people defend/diss specific plugins.....But "Because my clients likes the way the plugin looks" is certainly a new one lol. Honestly, I feel like this plugin has more of a "2023 sound and feel" - definitely would recommend this for pop, electronic, hip-hop, R&B, etc. This is a bit more customizable than CLA Vocals and I like that. Especially with the effects. Personally RARELY use CLA vocals. From the waves vocal plugins, I always preferred Greg Wells Voice Centric. And Xvox is WAY more customizable than GW Voice Centric. I'll definitely be grabbing this plugin for the foreseeable future when I want an all-in-one vocal plugin.
No comparison. The Cla vocal plug in is not even close . I used the xvox trial and was blown away . WAY cleaner and easy to get the polish sound. .. I thought it was a gimic like the rest ..it even sounds better than izotope nectar
I would definitely put XVox and The Spirit in the same plugin category. XVox seems to have a few more "bells and whistles" (delay, deEsser, multiple modes, etc.) but that doesn't necessarily mean it's better, just a little more diverse. I have yet to try The Spirit, but based on my experience (slash full-blown love affair) with The God Particle, I would imagine that The Spirit is really really good. So far engagement on this video is really solid! If that keeps up, you can definitely expect a comparison video from me! Thanks for your comment!
Hey! So technically you could do either of those. I do think the plugin was designed to to be placed directly on your vocal track and it works well when used like that. If you wanted to, for example, use the space or sfx modules on an effects send you could do that as well.
I checked out this and a video about xvox pro. I really dont wanna blow money on getting something with so many other extra stuff that I'll never use. Definitly dont wanna shortcut myself and by the cheaper version and miss out on something potentially bigger. Ugggh annoyed. What's a man to do lol
Hey! I'm wokring on a video for XVox Pro which should be up within the next couple weeks. But, I'll give you my condensed thoughts! XVox is great but it has SEVERAL limitations that Xvox Pro solves. If you're looking for a quick and easy way to get a finished vocal (and you want to save money) get XVox. It definitely does the job. XVox pro is ultimately more flexible in terms of how you can work with the plugin. For me, it worth the price difference, but I definitely wish this plugin was closer to the $99 price point... XVox Pro has a much better and more deatiled EQ which I like. But Honestly, for most vocals I still find myself needing something like ProQ3 for subtractive EQ. I do find that the XVox Pro EQ does a nice job for shaping a vocal. The "AIR+" is nice. I REALLY love that XVox Pro gives you each module as it's own individual plugin. That alone is worth the price bump. Sure, you could throw XVox on a vocal bus (for example), mute everything but the space module and use the reverb on all the vocals being sent to that bus. (That's how I've been using XVox.) But having the individual plugins is so much cleaner and CPU friendly for the times when you ONLY want to use one of the modules. I really like the compression and space modules, so with XVox pro I've mostly just been using those. A few of the SFX are really cool too. The extra modes you get with Xvox pro are definitely nice to have... not necessary but nice to have. Hope that helps man!
@@PatrickBreenMusic Thank you. I've tried it for my show vocals. It sounds better. I just tried it for a song I recorder, but a issue remains that I still have that's present in my audio, sibbilance (Pardon my typo). As a engineer, it sounds horrible to me
