if you watch and pay attention to the audio the skyline doesn't get traction until the supra is in 3rd gear. the supra benefits from a great launch, better traction. ( 15% better traction than skyline , +10% launch control, +15% maintaining the traction - keeping the static friction ) the skyline clearly has more HP but cant get it all to the ground until 2nd-3rd. i don't know why people are talking about "better speed" "more torque" and one car having better "acceleration"; In the end the skyline accelerates to a higher speed over the 1/4 mile

Well this is kinda expected; if these engines are still factory spec (doubtful) then the sequentially boosted 3.0 2JZ GTE would have more torque than the parallel boosted 2.6 RB26DETT.
Except your missing one crucial point - that is not a gtr, its a 25 GTT with a 2.5 L RB25DET neo engine. A stock supra does have more torque than a stock gtr, but whats more important is being able to put that power down to do useful work. Which is why an AWD gtr would have a faster time
