This absolutely fixed my problem. All day half a night trying to figure it out I felt like the commentor Sam Trew as she stated about giving up then came across this vid...Thanks So much for sharing with us. You made my stress level come all the way down. Now I can get my gift out on time.
I came across this today, I was literally in tears because this has worked so many times before and I couldn't for the life of me work out why! I've cleaned, unplugged, collaborated, updated you name it I've spent the whole day doing it. I was about to give up when I found you.... You saved my sanity, I'm also not a quitter and it would have been a very long night while I tried to suss this out. Thankyou so much, now I can sleep x
Saved my bacon!! Thank you. The circles worked, when just darkening the guide lines did not. So glad I found this tip. If you are struggling with the cuts lining up, try this. Especially if you have already calibrated your machine.
Thank you so much for this video, you saved my Cricut from the bin :-) I had already printed mine on premium printable vinyl so was very annoyed at the thought of yet more material wasted. Instead if redoing it I got a red sharpie and drew the 4 dots then a offset border around the black part on the top edge of one of the stickers and it worked!! 😁😍😘
@@NTBVinyls hi do you have any suggestions for print and cut on brown kraft paper? I'm trying to cut out those tiny Amazon/plain boxes for an order I have to get out asap and it keeps telling me it error I need white paper 🤬. I've tried every setting including kraft paper and still nothing 🥺 thank you in advance for your time
Thank you so much for this video. I have been struggle hours to make this machine to read my drawing but no luck. Tried everything, the dots don’t work but darker the frame outline works like magic. Thank you so much. Almost dump my circut to garbage. Haha.
The little circles didn't do the trick but the "darkening the sensor lines" came through like gang busters! "Gang busters"? Geez, I'm starting to sound like my father... Thanks, Cody!
What a LIFE SAVER😫😀 !!! The method of drawing the black line with a ruler you briefly stated at the end of the video helped me. It seems that my (NEW canon printer 🙄) is not printing black ink visible enough. Thank you so much for the hack😅 !
Hi Christin! To confirm, you have a U shaped border instead of the rectangle? I’m not familiar with that and I would suggest reaching out directly to Cricut.
Thank you so much, very glad I stumbled upon this video, it worked! I have struggled way too long to try and get the machine to cut, I did have to do both though the dots and then draw over the black lines tried twice so far and it's working thanks again for sharing!
Thank you! The black marker suggestion worked perfectly. I used a Bazic dry erase marker and it still worked with no issue. I only used a wet wipe to clean the edges that were messy.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU and THANK YOU! I had been going crazy for the last 2 days trying to print my image and nothing. I used your hack and it worked BEAUTIFULLY. You saved my sanity :-)
Thank you for the video. I had already printed my project pages, another tip would be to move the label paper 1/8" from the edges and turned off all the lights, least that is the only thing that worked for me. I tried using a marker and that did not work.
Would the quality of the sticker paper affects it if your using the glossy sticker paper?? I've tried your method like 4 times today but it still keep saying "printer then cut error" 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
@@OMGRaquelLee I've just switched to a matte vinyl sticker paper instead of the glossy one and so far I haven't had any problem with the print and cut. I just put laminating sheet on top to make it glossy
If you want to make them glossy just get cold lamination vinyl sheets in clear cut them to fit inside the cut line (so the registration marks stay matte). The Cricut hate glossy papers because it reflects light back into the sensor. This is the only work around I have found to work for glossy waterproof stickers.
i just wanted to print one sticker and the stupid thing scans everywhere but the black box. It scans beside it, it scans below it, it scans above it, and it scans inside of it. its like my cricut is avoiding my box on purpose!
How would this work on white vinyl? I am using Neato white vinyl sticker paper and I still cannot get it to cut unless I tape copy on regular paper. Plz help
Thank you so much! I went with the black line using a ruler. CAUTION: make sure the ink from the marker doesn't get on your ruler bc it will smear when you move it. I had a self laminating sheet over my design so luckily I was able to wipe most of the smears off.
I calibrated 4 times none of the cuts came close. And when trying to cut stickers it is way off alignment. What are the steps when making do we have to flatten in ds or just attach
flatten the image makes it all 1 if you don't flatten and you have multi pieces it will cut each 1. I use attach after I flatten if I want to fit my images to one page because print and cut it may send your images to another page and you still have space on the other one. are you using the download version or the one on web (window)
I have calibrated mine 10 times and it still does not cut properly. It cuts to close to the right side and cuts a gap on the left side. Feel like returning it😭. Cricut support center is taking a while to respond back to me. Will try this method but mines are outlined with white and even the black lines are off.

Good morning, how are you? I have also tried everything mentioned, and none of those things worked for me either. What did work for me was to make sure the grey rolling things were clean. I took a wipe and cleaned the grey thing that rolls the mat. I didn't realize there was ink on it, and the ink was smearing onto the cut line. I hope that helped. Have a great day😘
