I was watching one of your other videos about things that age you. I was unable to leave a comment there. Although I agreed with the majority clothes and fashions you said to avoid over 50 that age you, I definitely DID NOT agree with one item. That item is the Anorak jacket! You said a Trench coat was a better choice. First of all most Trench coats are expensive!! you are short like me, 5' 1" a Trench coat will usually be too long and overwhelming for someone 5' 2" and shorter. An Anorak jacket is less expensive and fits better for shorter woman then a Trench coat. I don't think that kind of jacket ages you at all even if you are medium or tall. I am in my mid 60's.
@@SallyAtkins I am originally from UK but left there with my parent's when I was very young, to move to USA and have lived here a long time. I did go back for visits in the 1980's and mostly stayed in London. My aunt lived near Kensington High Street and she would always be dressed up to even walk down the road to buy groceries or go to the bank. In USA where I live, the norm is casual clothes for all ages. For example I was grocery shopping recently at a large supermarket. Lots of women shopping. Only one woman wore a skirt and blouse. Everyone else, seniors over 55 + wore jeans, sweat pants, just super casual. Actually, even at church, here most women wear casual pants, some in jeans and maybe just a few dresses but not the majority. I do think for the most part, women in UK, and Europe, do dress up more then here. Of course there are some womem who dress up here in USA (especially if they are still working), but most older women that are senior citizens, no longer working, dress super casual attire.
