EP 03 | Painting Ron McNair in Gouache | Sketchbook & Chill

Gouache portrait in my sketchbook of Ron McNair, one of the astronauts on the Challenger Space Shuttle during the tragic incident back in 1986. I was inspired after watching the documentary "Challenger: The Final Flight" on Netflix. It was the McNair Scholars program that first exposed me to the opportunity to attend grad school, so I wanted to pay homage with a portrait.
