- DC DESIGNS CONCORDE | HOW TO REACH MACH 2.0 AT 60K FEET TUTORIAL XBOX & PC. Hi 83 crew Pilot 83 here with my 5th installment on The dc Designs Concorde tutorials. In this video we will go over how to get the Concorde to Mach 2.0 at 60k feet easily and safely. This can be challenging and was for me at first so I made a video breaking it down to simple steps that will for sure get you there, to that lovely Mach 2.0 at 60k feet! The next video I do will be on how to operate the fuel trim transfer systems correctly so be on the look out for that.

25:22 Imagine what this would look like in real life as a pilot. Stunning!
You killin it brother.. Keep up the good work 🤛🏾
Hi! I have a problem, when I reach Mach 2.0 at 60,000 feet it starts to sound the overspeed alarm, I have the gravity center correct, correct altitude and everything ok so I don’t know what I’m doing wrong.
I still don't understand the difference between the autothrottle knots and the mach hold and increase/decrease there. Like @ 7:00 why are you increasing the autothrottle? Wouldn't the mach hold overwrite that?
Note that there are TWO IAS hold and Mach Hold buttons. The ones on the left control speed via Autothrottle. The ones on the right control speed via PITCH.
why do i get a cruise altitude for 61,000ft but the plane won’t hold that altitude? it’s annoying.
How do you prevent the engines from stalling out on takeoff? They seem to what looks like surging whenever I apply full throttle for take off and using afterburners.
@@Pilot0083 possibly.
I made it to mach 2 and I'm at FL520 due to my weight and fuel, but some alarm keeps persistent going off. Any Idea what to do about it?
You are probably overspeed. You need to be higher.
Incorrect climb profile. You should prioritize speed over vertical speed and try to achieve M1.70 as quickly as possible in order to save fuel.
@@mapolinski he’s a very casual simmer I’ve noticed, cringed a few times at his takeoff rolls
I haven’t bought the Concorde for Xbox yet but I was wondering if it was possible to fly at Mach two at a low altitude. I like doing low altitude flights sometimes. I’m kinda new to this game
No, the speed of sound varies based on air speed, as well as the air being thicker at lower altitudes. If you want supersonic at low level you’d probably be better off with a fighter aircraft, but even then it’s a stretch to Mach 2 really.
Do you know why sometime i put max climb on and the plane just wont climb ? :o
Sometimes I just turn off autopilot and lnav then turn them back on.
You have to be in the right combination of speed and altitude for it to work. If you are too slow, the plane needs to speed up first before climbing. If you aren't speeding up, it's because you let yourself get behind the curve. You should aim to be at or near Vmax at all times during climbout then you will have minimal problems. If you're stuck and can't speed up, either get lower or turn on afterburners for a bit.
Concorde starts shaking left to right once hit mach 2 any ideas why?
Thanks for reply buddy problem sorted now once I reached mach 2 I put mach hold on
Fuel imbalance. You need to empty tanks 5a and 7a
How do you remove the CO PILOT avatar - in the cockpit next to you?
He's only gonna like your comment for the algorithm and not help you lol
Open Weight and Balance page and set Co Pilot weight to 0.
How do u record on Xbox do u think u could make a
vid on how u do please thanks lol and first
Get a usb that can be formatted by xbox and used as a capture device and u can record for like an hour
I’m not talking about landing footage I’m talking about normal footage like when u do a flight or like a live stream
@@Pilot0083 do u think u could give me a link or a time when it was released
Why didn't you carry out the fuel transfer procedures? The plane was not balanced properly
How come every time I go above Mach 1.87 the overspeed alarm keeps going off?
@@Pilot0083 I believe it was 40,000, after that the plane won’t climb anymore
@@Pilot0083 well I got it to go to 60k and Mach 2 but the alarm still won’t shut up
@@Golab865 The overspeed alarm is going on because you are overspeed. Slow down and it will stop. Or get higher and then the Vmax will be higher and not cause the alarm.
@@Golab865 You got behind the curve and got stuck. You need to be going faster before you get to 40,000. Stay near Vmax all the way up and the plane will climb without issue. The user manual included with the plane gives clear instructions on how to climb. For example, at 13:50 he got way behind the curve. You should try to get to mach 1.70 as quickly as possible so you can turn off afterburners.
