When I was a kid, I used to leave the PS2 System Menu on since it was just ocean wave ambiance, despite that my mom's electric bill back in the early 2000s was nearly $5,000 to $10,000 at the time (very expensive I know).
This song and Colosseum's soundtrack mean a lot to me. This song takes me back to late summer nights with my older brother playing and replaying Colosseum on our childhood Gamecube, getting lost in the game's atmosphere and its music. Those memories mean a lot to me, and coming back to this song is one of my favorite ways of revisiting them. Genuinely, thank you for your work and passion for this game.
To everybody saying that "Colosseum 2" already exists I think what the person is trying to say is really about a third game maybe one with more similarities with the original game like the return of Wes and the Under perhaps?
@@internetual7350 The Under was filled in. It doesn't exist anymore. And we know what they meant, they want another Colosseum. They just forgot XD exists.
Tawada NEEDS to come back to Pokémon in some capacity. I love that they've started to bring in Toby Fox, but bring on Tawada for the next mainline games. This style is just so unmatched. There's something about it. Thank you Tsukasa, truly, for blessing our childhoods with your compositions ❤️
This! It's a crime they haven't brought him back for more games. Relic Forest (especially this cover) is one of the best tracks in any Pokemon game. Imagine a full mainline game scored by Tawada, it'd be a masterpiece.
Dear Tawada-san, thank you so much for your amazing work on these games. Even back when I played this game at 8 years old, I felt the music deep in my veins and I still think about it often! Thank you for these masterpieces. こんなに美しい音楽を書いてくださってありがとうございます!!
God this song hits me hard right in the heart. One of the most beautiful pieces of music I've heard in my life. Thank you so much for your hard work Tawada-san. I really hope we can get a remake or new game in Orre with your beautiful work once more ❤
This and the Phenac city arrangements bring me to tears of joy every single time without fault, seriously. These bring me back to 15+ years ago when things were so much easier and I didn't have to stress about so many things. When instead of stressing about having enough money for rent or knowing what I'm going to do with my life, I was worrying about purifying all the Shadow Pokémon and putting a stop to Greevil's nefarious plans. I will cherish these memories till I draw my last breath on this mortal plane of existence. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, mister Tawada.
This song always stuck out to me. It's so pretty and peaceful. Sometimes I'd just sit back and just...take in the sounds and the music of Relic Forest. I also always remembered there being another verse before the song looped, but alas.
I cried hearing this, this was so beautiful. I grew up playing the Gen 3 Pokemon games constantly and still have the Pokemon from those games transferred all the way up through the series, every time I beat the game I dragged all my old friends into the newest game. I worked so hard to purify all of those shadow Pokemon and I heard this theme for hours as a kid, and I can't stop listening to this now. Thank you so much.
I am in complete and utter shock! Is this really happening? It's been more than a decade ago since I played Pokémon Colleseum and XD: Gale of Darkness, and discovered this masterpiece. I thought the world had forgotten about it's existence and it would stay but a mere ancient relic. Thank you so much for not forgetting about this melody, and reperforming it for us!
Here's the thing, I may not play the games anymore, but I still listen to music like this one, XD, and even Pokemon Channel, and possibly other songs from my late 1990s early 2000s childhood music that I re-discover and listen to non-stop. This one is just another great cover of an already great orchestra piece in the original soundtrack of Pokemon Colosseum, and by the way, the game turns twenty years old this year (much like my most favorite one, Pokemon Channel).
Orre region had absolutely incredible music. Thank you for all the music tracks and the memories we all strongly carry from hearing them. These piano renditions are beautiful.
Oh dear, hearing this is bringing tears to my eyes. PKMN Colosseum and XD Gales of Darkness have been left a huge impact on my me as a kid who was very lonely. The soundtracks of those games are so memorable and I would stay in certain part of the games just to hear them on loop (since you couldn't really hear them anywhere else back then). I couldn't understand English, but the soudntracks would speak for themselves, help me go through the games and to this day I still listen to them. Sorry for writing so much, but thank you for creating such beautiful music and memories Mr Tawada
As a die hard fan of the main series I can safely say Pokemon Colosseum is in my top 3 Pokemon games and Gale is in my 5 Beautiful music and characters and I hope we one day get to return to the Orre Region
Thank you so much for keeping a candle lit for the Orre games all these years! Such nostalgia and happiness! It's truly amazing to know that at least someone from the team that helped make these games is still thinking about them, and thinking about us fans too.
When Pokémon Colosseum came out it blew my mind. I was only 6 when it came out. Everything from the cinematics, the story, the moves, and the soundtrack probably being my favorite. It was a game that was very much ahead of its time imo. And it will always hold a special place in my heart.
I hope you'll be able to create Pokémon music again for future generations, your work is incredible and has left a lasting impression on all those who loved XD and Colosseum. Thank you for your extraordinary work, Mr Tawada.
I just saw the recent DYKG video that mentioned you. Your work and dedication to this small side series of one of the most beloved parts of my youth made my eyes well up. There is nothing I would love more than to see Pokémon Colosseum and its sequel rereleased, remade or remastered and given one more sequel. Of course I would be honoured to hear your beautiful work again if ever we get to see a third entry. Thank you for holding on to this one small piece of the series. It means the world to know that at least one member of the team still holds it close to their heart.
The Orre Region an desert barren waste land lost, dusty, and forgotten but in time will soon blossom into an oasis paradise shining like sun. This melody is an testament to that Thank You Mr.Tawada 🙏🏽❤️
This is one of those pieces of music for me where I close my eyes, and It transports me to a completely different time and space. A time when things were simpler and every problem was surmountable. I’m thankful you uploaded this, I come back to listen often and it still captures a joy that I felt the first time I listened to it.
I would like to give a hundred likes to this video. I literally had tears in my eyes after hearing this version. I just found your channel through your comment on Dr. Pez' Colosseum Medley and I'm completely in love with your style of composition - thank you!
Wow! This is amazing to hear in 2021, thanks for performing this. I really like the different chord tones here from the original... almost sounds like the forest is now at peace since all the Shadow Pokémon have been purified
This is my childhood. Pure Nostalgia from anything this man has composed. I walk through the woods listening to the original version of this at times, it brings me back to happier times
I grew up with both coliseum games, and their soundtracks I have kept dear to my heart all of these years. Thank you so much for the hours of wonders you have provided. May you someday get to compose for pokemon again. Arigato, Mr. Tsukasa!
Thank you sir for this music! Just know that you're not the only one who didn't move on. I still enjoy listening the soundtrack of Colosseum and XD Gale of darkness!
The passion you still feel for this music warms my heart in a way few other things can. In your videos I can feel the love you still have for this work. Thank you sincerely for your work in Colosseum and Gale of Darkness, as well as the timeless music in Pokemon Trozei and Pokemon Shuffle.
When I played this game as a Kid, I'd always wish I could wander these woods. They seems so calm and peaceful. Your Music is Amazing. I love how each piece, especially this piece, Pyrite and Phenac had such strong shifts in tones which really made Orre feel alive. Thank you so much.
I've listened to this song for almost as long as I've lived. It is the sound of the heavens. Thank you for sharing this beautiful harmony with us Mr. Tawada. 🌳
I love this arrangement it’s so beautiful this is one of my favorite Pokémon tracks from you

This piece was one of my favorite video game pieces of all time and surely influenced me to study film music composition by myself. That solo piano version is very enjoyable. Thank you! 🌈
I remember when I was a kid, after a long day of playing Pokémon, I’d go back to the relic forest, leave the game running and then just take a nap to the music…Beautiful composition and arrangement!
it only took a few notes to get me to tear up. This was always one of my favorite tracks in Colosseum. Many thanks Mr. Tawada for being part of making many wonderful childhood memories!
you're truly keeping this game alive through the music, colosseum was such an important part of my childhood and i remember i would just go to the relic forest and stay there for hours to listen to this song!
A beautiful song for a beautiful area. You truly captured the essence of the Relic Forest Mr. Tawada, and your music amplified the atmosphere of the game as a whole. Thank you for holding a candle out for these games with the rest of us.
one of the reasons i love the piano so much is that you can play it and put so much emotion into it where the listener can feel what the person playing was and hearing this i was feeling so many emotions and nostalgia just listening to this masterpiece
You are the soundtrack to my childhood. Thank you Mr. Tawada.
I second that. Excellent compositions!!
From the 67 ppl who liked this comment, Mr. Tawada we are grateful for your hard work on the music. 🙏
same for mine too
I used to leave the Gamecube on in the Relic Forest just to relax to the music there. It's beautiful!
Understandable really good background music! I always used to use the beach town on black and whit lmao
Me too!

petition to have tawada compose the music for generation 9 of the main series games. lets make it happen gamefreak
Not that it's gonna happen but I'll smack that like button nonetheless!
HECK YEAH.
i think tawada should stick to spin offs, when i hear his music in it, it makes the spin offs more memorable for me.
if he can't do main game if anything he can be in charge of any spin off game ost
@@Sindgoemon yeah, his shit is great
It wasn't the stone that purified them, it was the music!

pokemon colosseum 2, only this man can make the soundtrack
There's already a colosseum sequel though
That game already exists

Thank you for this.
The entirety of the Pokémon Colosseum/XD soundtrack was my childhood. I want this song to play when I walk down the aisle if I get wedding
one of the reasons i love the piano so much is that you can play it and put so much emotion into it where the listener can feel what the person playing was and hearing this i was feeling so many emotions and nostalgia just listening to this masterpiece
god, what a gorgeous piece of music. Colosseum was always a favorite of mine, and it still is.
no amount of money in the world can replicate the feeling losing in colosseum for countless hours
